Interesting facts about the FTW Title

I was arguing about the FTW Title on another website and decided to share some of that post here:

- The current rendition of the FTW Title was awarded to Brian Cage on AEW Dynamite 7/8/2020. Taz awarded Cage the title, citing that the man "who holds this championship is the baddest son of a b*tch" in wrestling.

- Losing a match as the FTW champion does not disqualify you from being the champion as Cage had lost to Jon Moxley on July 15th, 2020 and was still the champion after.

- Defeating the current FTW champion does not earn you a title shot as Jon Moxley had beaten Cage on July 15th, 2020, and was not offered an FTW Title match.

 - There is no qualification for getting an FTW Title shot that we are currently aware of. Brian Pillman Jr. earned his title shot in his very first AEW match on July 2nd, 2020, after having won no prior matches in the company. Will Hobbs earned the second FTW Title shot(and last shot as of this date) on October 7th, 2020. He had only defeated jobbers up to that point.

 - There are no mandatory 60 day or 90 day defense rules as Cage has held the title 101 days since his last defense. Interestingly enough, the first rendition of the FTW Title also did not have this rule.

It is not hard to understand why this title has not been much of a success so far and why it has also not helped out Brian Cage once all of this is considered.
