They showed clips of A-Kid winning the Heritage Cup and then Walter challenging him as Walter vs A-Kid is tonight.

Ed Harvey vs Joe Coffey

Ed wears suspenders, and I mean actual suspenders. Ed shoulders Joe into the ropes then slams him. Joe criss-crosses him on the ropes and charges at him with a shoulder. Joe then headscissors him in the corner and stops him as he tries to get in. Ed grabs the mic outside and says he wants to be called Sha Samuels instead. He backdrops Joe and drops the elbow on him.

Joe brings him down with his legs from behind and Ed/Sha kicks Joe in the back, then pounds on his head. Ed/Sha gets on his back with a headlock and Joe backdrops him. Joe hits a belly to belly on him. Joe does some punches and a springboard crossbody, but gets caught and slammed. Joe does another springboard crossbody and grabs Sha's suspenders and headbutts his back. Then he does a spinning lariat and wins it. Joe's offense was a little rough here and Sha changing his name mid-match is something I haven't seen before.

Sid Scala, the assistant GM was in his office. Pretty Deadly approached him and wanted a tag title shot. Sid they would be in a 4-way elimination tag for the #1 Contendership for a tag match in 2 weeks. 

Rampage Brown was working out and Dave Mastiff said hello. He said Brown had been impressing people and he needs a real challenge and said it should be him. Dave then said this rep was for him.

Tyler Bate vs Sam Gradwell

Sam said Bate talks to the tree's and calls himself an acorn and said let's see how much zen he has when he beats him up. Bate did a nice escape out of a wristlock and flipped Sam, then kept control. Sam grabbed Bate by the nose then slammed him, then hit some boots and clubs.

Gradwell really dominated Bate here for a while. Bate sunsent flipped Sam but Sam caught him during it and pulled him up. Bate hit some punch combo's and a diving euro uppercut. Sam rushed Tyler in the corner and got caught with an exploder before Tyler kipped up. Tyler then hit him with a running SSP. Bate tried some punches but met an STO and Sam pounded on him again. Bate did a rolling koppo kick and hit a tiger driver for the win.

Not bad at all. Tyler's stuff all looks really good and Sam has some personality to his offense. Maybe he doesn't have the coolest moves, but what he does works for him and I liked this one.

Sid told Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith they would be competing for a tag title shot.

Ilja D. and Jack Stars met up in the UK Performance Center. Ilja says he needs to start from the beginning and challenged him since he was the first guy he had fought here and is a gate keeper. 

Jinny came out to talk. She said she beat Piper Niven last week and wanted to explain why Joseph Connors was with her. Jinny said with wealth comes power and with that comes connections. Jinny said she would be WWE NXT UK Women's Champion next week.

Kay Lee Ray then came out. She said she has beaten everyone who has came for her and Jinny will be no different. Jinny said Ray hasn't been in the ring with her and said Ray isn't championship material. Ray asked her to get up in her face and say it then Ray said there won't be enough money to fix her face when she destroys it. Jinny said she helped her keep her title and there is nothing Ray can do about it.

There was a video with The Hunt and Eddie Dennis behind a fence. They talked about the upcoming 4-way and said "talk about chaos". Eddie said some get better in chaos and I think he said some peril in it. I couldn't understand most of what was said but it was a cool video.

WWE NXT UK Championship - WALTER vs A-Kid

There is a huge size difference between these two. They wrestle around early and A-Kid is spending a lot of the match hitting and running. Kid hits some leg kicks. He bridges and Walter jumps on him, but he is able to hold him. Walter puts Kid over the top rope and Kid hangs on Walter's arm over it. Kid hits more leg kicks but can't get a crab on very well.

Kid hits some face kicks and dropkicks Walter to the chest, but then takes two big chops. Walter puts the STF on him and hits another great chop and a head kick. Kid dives into Walter's leg and hits a nice forearm before taking a hard boot to the face. Walter crossfaces him and facelocks him.

Kid then gets put on the top rope again and takes another hard chop and a club over the top rope. Walter then gets dragon screwed through the ropes and gets a dropkick to the leg. Kid then springboard dropkicks his knee. Kid hits some hard kicks to the back and tries to slap Walter but gets a nasty slap back. Walter then kicks him in the back and tries to lift him up via sleeper, but he throws him off. Walter then hits a NASTY dropkick and powerbomb's him for 2.

Walter hits a nasty chop on him and foot slaps him. Kid hits a nasty chop back and tries an armbar. Walter rolls him to the ropes but Kid hangs on and gets slammed/powerbombed on the apron. Back in and Kid throws some shots and does a backflip kick. Walter then lariats him hard twice and wins it.

This was a really good stiff match with both guys doing the big man vs little man storyline well. Some super nasty shots here.

Overall thoughts: I liked 2 of the 3 matches here and the women's promo segment was fine. The main event is definitely worth a look here.
