WWE NXT UK 1/21/2021

They do a nice little shoulder battle to start then they forearm battle. Brown hits a dropkick but the camera's don't catch it well. Dave then comes back with his own dropkick. Brown hits a nice shoulder from the top and crossface shots Dave. Brown buts Dave in a chinlock and does a nice club over the back.
Brown does a sunset flip but Dave falls over and lands on him butt first. Dave then hits a senton. Brown comes off the top and gets a lariat for it then gets exploder suplexed. Brown hits a big lariat and takes a release german suplex soon after. Brown hits a backdrop on Dave then doctor bomb's him and wins it.
This was a fun big man match. Would have been better on a Big Japan show with 10 more minutes but I enjoyed this.
A-Kid said he came up short against Walter but it will be different next time.
Kenny Williams told Amir Jordan he would be going against Tyson T-Bone later.
Jack Starz vs Ilja Dragunov
Jack does a great escape out of a wristlock and dropkicks Ilja. Ilja does a hiptoss takeover and another on Starz. Jack does a sunset flip for 2 and a big lariat. Ilja does a wild alabama slam.
Ilja does a spinning chest chop to Starz then gets met with a lariat. Jack comes back with a nice german suplex for 2 and they have a nice strike exchange.
Drag gets slapped and then flurries on Jack, then he hits a nasty german. Ilja hits a great suplex on Jack and hits the torpedo of Moscow. Then he hits some elbows to the jaw and wins by ref stoppage. Drag was sad about what he did after.
This was a good match with both guys stiffing each other and bringing some fury.
We saw Jinny getting ready in the back.
Sam Gradwell did a promo. He said he isn't here to be a bonfire tree and said he would send Ben Carter back to Jersey next week.
Tyson T-Bone vs Amir Jordan with Kenny Williams
Tyson shoulders Amir early then hits a flying forearm. Tyson backbreaker's him then fallaway slams him. Bone mostly punches Amir and catapults Amir's neck into the bottom rope. Amir gets headlocked but hits a jawbreaker, a lariat and a dropkick.
Bone catches a Jordan crossbody. Bone counters a sunset flip but then Jordan counters him and wins it. This wasn't anything special and didn't have any real highlights. Jordan was thrilled about the win but Kenny didn't seem as thrilled.
Kay Lee Ray was walking in the back.
Xia Brookside said she beat Nina Samuels fair and square. She didn't like Nina then jumping her and costing her a match. Xia said she would see what Xia is truly capable of soon.
They did a hype vid for the 4 way #1 contenders match for the NXT UK tag championship next week. They said Eddie Dennis would be banned from ringside for it.
WWE NXT UK Women's Championship - Kay Lee Ray (c) vs Jinny
We have 12 minutes for this.
Piper Niven was spotted on the tron with all the fans watching. Ray combos Jinny in the corner then gets booted for it. Dani Luna was also spotted on the tron. Ray hit a nice dropkick for 2. Ray goes up top and jumps down onto no one, tweaking her knee, then is japanese armdragged into the buckles.
Jinny bangs Ray's head off the steps outside then both girls run each others backs into the barricades. The tron went out, which wasn't by accidentas Ray gets whipped into the buckles. Nina Samuels was spotted on the tron. Jinny does a cool roll-up into a surfboard. Jinny then pounds on Ray. Jinny hits a couple of koppo kicks then is superkicked. They trade forearms and Ray hits a superkick then a ddt.
Ray puts Jinny in the Koji Clutch but Jinny gets out. Jinny hits a short-arm clothesline for 2, then flurries forearms on her back. Ray goes for the Gory Bomb but Joseph Connors distracts her. Jinny hits the makeover but Connors pulls on Ray's leg and the ref sees it and stops it. Connors gets kicked out. Jinny gets rolled up during this and chases Connors who tries to leave with the belt. Jinny tries to hit Ray with the belt, the ref interrupts her then Ray wins with the Gory Bomb.
This was alright, maybe even good but I thought it could have been better.
Overall thoughts: Not a bad episode at all with 3 of the 4 matches being good
