JUST TAP OUT Girls Tournament 12/6/2020
JTO GIRLSトーナメント
Just Tap Out is a small indy in Saitama, Japan, which is right next to Tokyo. Most of the girls on this show are supposedly inexperienced and/or rookies, but I suspect a few of the masked girls aren't actually rookies, though they clearly aren't Manami Toyota either.
JTO GIRLS Tournament First Round Match - Aki Shizuku vs. Sumika Yanagawa

Yanagawa does a dance for her entrance. Aki throws her around early. She tries some forearms but it only takes one to put her down. Aki pretty much bullies her around here. Sumika screams a lot and hits a bad spin kick. Aki wins in a very quick and easy squash with a torture rack, totally burying Sumika. Sumika is not good.

They do real basic stuff to start. rhythm hits some shoulders and drops an elbow. R double stomps rhythm and puts her in a bow and arrow. rhythm takes a stunner on the ropes and gets knocked back. Then she gets put in a lion tamer and a nasty single leg crab. rhythm comes back with some forearms and a bulldog. She put her in some kind of grounded cobra clutch but R hit the ropes.
R did a frogsplash to rhythm's back and won with a unique backbreaker. Very very basic stuff here that wasn't anything interesting.
JTO GIRLS Tournament First Round Match - Black Changita vs. Misa Kagura

Changita entered the ring by putting a banana in her mouth. Misa starts off with a forearm flurry and gets put down by one kick. She takes a single leg crab and gets stomped on. Black elbows her in the head then pulls her by the pigtails. Black then stretches Misa out and steps on her.
Misa takes more abuse but comes back with a dropkick to the stomach. She tries for something in the corner but gives up after failing to hit it for 30 seconds. She tries it again and it continues not to work. The move ends up being like double reverse armbar where you sit on the opponents back. Black then wins by wrapping the two legs together and holding them up in a stinker.

Inaba does a karate pose and gets nailed for it at the bell. YuuRI then pounds on her. Inaba works on her leg. YuuRi lets go with a forearm flurry and Inaba gives her a good one back. YuuRI puts her in the sleeper and gets her back in it after a counter. YuuRI sits on the ropes then sits on her back to continue the sleeper.
YuuRI tries a 619 but slips on the ropes. She then hits an enzugiri and gets put in the sleeper. Inaba puts her leg in an ankle lock and works it over before tapping her out.
This was the best match so far, but believe me, that is saying nothing. The match made sense and some of the strikes were fine.
JTO GIRLS Tournament Semi Final Match - Aki Shizuku vs. Black R
Aki throws down R and rides her to start. Aki then gets bow and arrow'd and stretched. R hits a stunner and does a boot to Aki's face. She then puts Aki in the cattle mutilation but Aki hits the ropes. Aki then armbars R, but she hits the ropes too.
Aki hits some clotheslines on R and rolls her into a Fujiwara armbar. R backdrops Aki, germans her then puts her in a single leg crab. Aki does a rolling legbar to her and it turns into an anklelock. She then germans her with a captured leg.
R release german's Aki but she doesn't sell it and hits a lariat. Aki then submits R with a torture rack. Basic and I thought it was mostly okay except for Aki not selling the german. This was the longest match of the night so far.
JTO GIRLS Tournament Semi Final Match - Tomoka Inaba vs. Black Changita
Black works over Inaba's arm to start. She wraps it around the rope and stomps on it, then puts her in the rings of saturn. Black really sticks to the arm work here and triple suplexes Inaba.
Inaba finally gets some offense and puts Black in an ankle lock. Black grabs the arm again and Inaba is able to get a kick to the chest of Black. She then works the ankle/leg and taps out Black with a leg lock! I was surprised by this ending as I didn't expect Inaba to win. This wasn't bad at all. Black stuck to the arm work and it made sense for Inaba to focus on the leg since she does the ankle lock.
Four Way Elimination Match - rhythm vs. Misa Kagura vs. Sumika Yanagawa vs. YuuRI
Sumika hits two spin kicks and submits Misa with an indian deathlock. YuuRI does drops down rhythm and does the same to Sumika. rhythm then submits YuuRI with a strangle hold. Sumika does another spin kick and rhythm does a cool set-up into a strangle hold to beat her too and win the match. This was pretty quick but they all got something in, didn't look like idiots and it was better than a lot of their singles matches.
JTO GIRLS Tournament Final Match - Aki Shizuku vs. Tomoka Inaba
Aki blocks a kick early and does a weak slam down on Inaba. She then grabsa keylock and turns it into an armbar which Inaba ropebreaks for.
Inaba works over Aki's leg and ankle locks her. Inaba flurries with some forearms and then takes a single lariat down. Aki tries to rack her but can't and she hits clotheslines on her in the corner. Aki then puts some submissions on Inaba's arm. Aki keylocks one arm and wraps up the other and Inaba has to hit the ropes.
Inaba climbs on Aki's back for a sleeper and then hits some chest and back kicks on her. Aki grabs the ankle again and forces a rope break. Aki blocks a kick and hits a lariat on her. Inaba powers up for a high kick then leg locks Aki again at 10 minutes.
Aki puts on a hammerlock while she is in the leglock and both get out. Inaba hits some high knees and then puts the sleeper on when she gets put into a torture rack. Aki hits a sliding D lariat on Inaba and lariats her again. She then torture racks her for the win. Not too bad. The selling on Inaba's part could have been better but the match made sense. I would have had two younger girls in the final who could have used the ringtime though.
Overall thoughts: These girls are GLOW level green, but Inaba shows some promise. I would not recommend this as there was some ugly wrestling here.
