Big Japan Pro Wrestling Death Match King Death 1/4/2021

I'm just doing the deathmatches here

TLC Death Match - Jaki Numazawa & Yuko Miyamoto vs. Abdullah Kobayashi & Minoru Fujita

Fujita and Yuko do a little wrestling on the mat to start. Jaki and Abby get in and headbutt each other. Jaki falls back after a headbutt but ends up just winding up for a bigger headbutt. Then they both run the ropes and headbutt each other. Jaki rams a ladder into Abby's crotch then swings a chair at the ladder.

Yuko traps Abby's hands in a ladder then drops the other leg of the ladder on it. Jaki then drops a ladder onto Abby. Yuko bangs Abby's head off a table, but it just makes him mad and he does it to himself. Then Abby and Yuko do headbutts. Fujita spins around a ladder and nails Yuko and Jaki. Fujita puts Yuko on a ladder on the ropes and splashes it. Fujita puts Yuko on a table and tries to headbutt him from the top but ends up tasting the table himself. Yuko then does the same thing.

Yuko and Fujita set up a table in the ring and some chairs on each side. They kick the table into each other then bang each other's heads off the table, then they fly over the table to hit each other.

Abby and Jaki then have a discussion at the table and arm wrestle. All 4 people come in headbutt each other at the same time. Abby and Jaki headbutt battle and Abby wins this bizarre match with a roll-up on Jaki as Fujita and Yuko bang each others heads off the table.

G Shock Death Match - Hideyoshi Kamitani & Masaya Takahashi vs. Akira Hyodo & Kankuro Hoshino

We have ladders, concrete blocks, ring steps, a table, bricks and chairs here.

Hoshino and Hyodo take their own back bumps on the concrete blocks because they are morons. Hyodo hits Kamitani in the back with a block, then him and his partner get backdropped onto blocks and steps.

Hoshino's head gets put in between ladder sides and Masaya slams a chair on it. Hoshino gets slammed onto a ladder then Kami hits him with a chair while he's on the ladder. Kami then throws a ladder at him. Kami runs a ladder into Hyodo.

Hyodo sets up bricks in the corner and slams Masaya on them. Then Kami helps out Masaya and they powerbomb Hyodo onto bricks. Kami puts some ladders on Hyodo in the corner with a table, then he rams them. Hyodo gets slammed on a table and ladder pile. Kami grabs a chair but Hyodo spears it and Hoshino gets in.  Hoshino hits a top rope missile dropkick then elbows some cement blocks on Kami's stomach. Hoshino then sentons those cement blocks on Kami's stomnach.

Kami and Masaya ram ladders into each other when Hoshino moves. Kami gets slammed onto a pile of blocks. Hoshino misses a senton and lands on the block pile, then Hyodo gets thrown onto it too. Masaya sledgehammers a pile of bricks onto Hoshino's face. Kami puts blocks and a table on Hoshino then elbow drops it and brainbuster's him after. Hoshino then wins with a random roll-up at 12:43.

There was no wrestling here at all but they destroyed each other with various weapons and you couldn't help but keep watching.

Flourescent Lighttubes Death Match - Ryuji Ito vs. Yuki Ishikawa

Ito gets put through two sets of tubes on the ropes, then has one broken over his head. Ito hits Yuki over the head with the rim of a chair. Yuki stomps on a tube over Ito's knee and Ito elbows tubes on Yuki's head. Yuki gets thrown into the tube ropes and Ito kendo stick shots a tube into him. Ito puts a stack of chairs onto Yuki's back and chairs them and hits his back with more chair shots.

Yuki dragon screws Ito's leg and double stomps him from the second rope. Ito hits a northern lights suplex for 2 and sets up a stack of chairs. Yuki blue thunders him onto the chairs with a few light tubes added. Ito puts some chairs on their sides and superplexes Yuki onto them. Ito does a frog splash from the top then Yuki puts his knees up with tubes. Ito gets up and throws a chair at Yuki then shining wizards him for the win at 10:05. They seemed to be going for Ito's injured knee vs Yuki's injured back early but gave up and just did usual deathmatch stuff.

Flourescent Lighttubes Alpha Death Match - Drew Parker & Shunma Katsumata vs. Crazy Lovers (Masashi Takeda & Takumi Tsukamoto)

There is already broken glass on the mat befoe this even starts. Shunma and Takumi volunteer to take bumps in it for some reason.  Takeda then breaks a tube on the mat and falls on it, then Parker does it too. They tease hitting each other with it....but then hit themselves with it. Takeda gets dropkicked into the light tube ropes. Drew busts a tube over Takeda's head then Takeda rubs a knife over Drew's head. Drew gets thrown into the tube ropes. Takeda gets both opponents with the knife.

Takumi breaks another tube over his own head and stabs Drew with broken tubes. Takumi chair combos Drew and tries to put his head into a spikeboard. Takeda slams Takumi on Drew, who has tubes on his stomach. Takeda punches some tubes into Drew and Takumi does a vader bomb senton on tubes on Drew's gut. Drew gets thrown out of the ring, but hangs on and comes back with a cutter.

Shunma throws buckets of legos at Takumi then missile dropkicks him. Shunma dropkicks Takeda but lands chest first in his legos. Shunma puts a tube behind Takumi's arms then does a lightning spiral to break it. Shunma gets backdropped through a pile of chairs. Takeda grabs a pile of tubes and throws them at Shunma, then dropkicks them into him.

Takeda double knees a bunch of tubes into Shunma's chest. They get Takeda's knife out and he flying armbar's Shunma, then cuts at his fingers to break Shunma's defense on it. Shunma gets raked with the knife again. Shunma does a top rope hurricanrana to Takeda, which Takeda doesn't sell, then Shunma no sells a german. Both of them throw piles of tubes at each other, then Takeda russian legsweeps himsel and Shunma into a spikeboard.

Shunma top rope splashes Takumi for 2 and Drew inserts some kind of metal plate into Takumi's head. Drew goes up top and gets thrown onto tubes, then gets combo struck by his opponents. Drew jumps off the spikeboard to drop knees on Takumi, then he puts tubes on the spikeboard. Drew then gets suplexed on that board and forward dropped for the Takumi and Takeda win at 16:44. Shunma then breaks a tube over his head in Takeda's face and Takeda's scrapes him with the knife.

This was all spots with no real wrestling, but they really did destroy each other. I did not like them hitting themselves with the tubes though because it just makes it seem like the tubes don't hurt, defeating the purpose of them.

Overall thoughts: If you like deathmatches you should probably see this as they have a ton of different weapons on this show. It's not great and there's little wrestling to be had, but this had tons of crazy deathmatch stunts.
