We are at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary. 

We see clips from last week.

Grayson Waller comes out. He says it's time he started rattling cages. He says he made his main roster debut in MSG after breaking his leg 6 weeks earlier. He says he won the SD Tag Titles at Mania then says something changed. He says the last two years of his career have been an embarrassment. He says he spent the last 2 years carrying a 240lb idiot on his back. He says that Marty Jannetty (Austin Theory) is still allergic to the microphone. He says he pretended to be in a funeral during the last year and told the world how good someone else was. He says he was dressed for a funeral but only his career was dying. He says it's a new day.

He says he could sit at home but he's in the best shape of his life. He says he goes to war with himself everyday. He says he has a demon in the NXT Title. He says that title used to mean something. He says he's been treated like a Netflix commercial comedy break. He says he's here to take the NXT Title and asks if Cruz Montana will stop him. He says the people will have a new toy in 6 weeks and won't care about him. 

He says Cruz walked in like he will challenge for the title straight away as he was the best guy in TNA. He says being the best guy in TNA is like being the best basketball player in the local gym and says it's not 2005. He says Tony D'Angelo got to show off because there's no one left. GW is told to wrap it up and he tells Shawn Michaels to tune up the band to stop him. 

He says the NXT male roster is soft and says the women run laps around them. He says 90% of them think they should be called up tomorrow. He says maybe 10% is ready, but they are all women. He says the wrestlers play wrestler on Instagram for 6 months. He says the independent wrestlers then come here and do stuff others can't do but the energy is sucked out of the room when they get on the mic as they are charisma vacuum's. He says Shawn is smiling as he's finally telling the truth. 

GW says the men's division has been for the taking for months and no one has done a thing about it. He says he will walk in, take the title and the division. He says he's starting to remember who Grayson Waller is. He says he's the most underrated guy on the roster. The mic then gets cut. He then talks in the camera. He says WWE didn't want to give him an opportunity, so he took one and to consider your cages rattled. We then cut to a black screen and break.

Thoughts: It's a shame it came to this, but Waller did a good job with his shoot promo. A lot of it was sadly true though. 

Myles Borne and Tavion Heights complain about Waller. Tav says they will take care of Vanity Project after Borne takes care of Kam. Mason Rook comes in and complains about Waller. Rook says the NXT Boys are good and need to show it. He says that's why he's getting his hands on Kam tonight. Borne tells him to stay away. Rook says he's ready to beat his @ss.

Izzi Dame vs Lizzy Rain

They lock up. Dame backs her up on the ropes and chops her. Rain side headlocks her, bridges out of a lariat and is back elbowed. Rain upkicks her from the mat. Rain hits chops. Rain back elbows her. Dame running lariats her. We see Cruz Montana arrive.

Rain's head is banged off the buckles. Dame suplex throws Rain for 2. Rain rolls her up for 2. Rain does a low spinning heel kick. Rain headbutts her and enzugiri's her. Rain springboard back elbows her. Dame running facekicks her outside.

We go to break and return. Dame neckbreakers her on her back. Rain high kicks her from the apron. Rain top rope dropkicks Dame. Rain lariats and back elbows her. Rain high kicks her. Rain suplexes her. 

Rain hits chops in the corner. Dame 2nd rope diving codebreakers her. Rain spinning forearms her down. Rain facekicks Dame. Rain's back springboard is caught with a blue thunder for 2. They forearm each other. Rain rolls her up for 2. Dame spears Rain through the ropes and sends her to the floor. Izzi is sent into the steps. Rain samoan drops her for 2.  

Dame knees her out of the corner and crucifix bombs her for 2. Dame boots her down. Dame yanks her up and Rain cutters her. Rain flying headbutts her. Niko Vance distracts Rain and Dame facekicks Rain. Shawn Spears shows up behind Niko and teases hitting him with a chair. Rain hits a step up knee to the face on Dame and pins her.

Thoughts: The match was alright. They didn't botch anything and kept it interesting. Dame stuck to various boots to the chest and face here. I'm not sure why Shawn Spears didn't whack Niko with the chair.

Cruz Montana talks to Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno. They talk in Spanish. Saquon Shugars walks in. He says Dar and Romeo scrapped last week and it is what it is. Romeo wants to do it again and Dar pulls him away. Cruz says he whooped Saquon all over The Garden last time he saw him. Saquon says he's a changed man and let him handle his Darkstate situation. Cruz says let's see about that.

Kelani Jordan comes up to Cruz and says it's an unfair working environment. She tells him to run while he can as she never got an NXT Women's Title shot. Cruz then walks away as she talks.

Robert Stone talks to The Vanity Project. The Project complain about how Stone handles things. Stone asks if they are scared of Borne and Tavion. Drake says Borne is facing Kam as he knows he can beat Kam. Drake says he will be NXT N-A champ someday.

Keanu Carver walks in. Myca stares down Keanu and leaves. Keanu says he wants a match with EK Prosper next week.

Lola Vice says Kendal Grey will enter her world next week. She says she doesn't know what it's like to get knocked out and to step in the cage. Lola says she knows what it is like. She says she became undeniable like she always said she would. She says Grey will run the division one day but not when she's here. She says she will knock her out and be a 2x women's champ next week.

Thea Hail talks to Jaida Parker about beating Nattie. JP says she's happy and says she appreciates what she did last week. Thea says she knows how hard it is here. Thea says her and Jaida are going to face Nattie and a partner next week. 

WWE NXT North American Title - Myles Borne (c) vs Kam Hendrix

They lock up and go to the ropes. MB takes him down. Kam boots him in the gut and bangs his arm off his shoulder. Kam water wheel drops him and armlocks him. MB rolls out of a wristlock and whips Kam down by the wrist. Kam shoulders him over and slams him. Borne dropkicks him and suicide dives him outside. Kam sweeps him on the apron.

We go to PiP break and return. Kam one arm powerbombs him and hits shots to the back of the neck. Kam chinlocks him. Kam beats up on him. Kam lariats him from behind. Kam hits punches. MB punches back. MB hits running lariats. MB back body drops him. MB hiptosses him and dropkicks him out.

MB powerslams Kam. Kam crossbodies him for 2. MB powerslams Kam for 2. MB goes for a tope and gets his head banged off the apron. Mason Rook comes out and Tavion Heights tries to stop him. Kam showtime kicks MB for 2. MB flips out of a backdrop and zigzag's Kam. MB pins him.

Thoughts: I thought it was an okay bout here. Kam is so smooth in the ring and just makes this stuff look easy. Borne is pretty much the same. This went well, both guys looked good and Kam's stock just continues to rise.

Rook gets in the ring after and hits punches on Kam. He lariats Kam over the top. The Vanity Project come in and jump Borne and Tavion. The faces get the edge and send The Project out.

Lizzy Rain is interviewed and is eating KFC. She says she's starving and says Shiloh Hill got her into it. She says she thinks she could kick Izzi Dame's @ss again. Tristan Angels comes in and says he's disappointed in him for learning from Hill. He says when he beats Hill tonight, maybe he will learn who her role model is.

OTM talk then Angel and Berto come in. Angel says they will always be there. They talk in Spanish and Nima tells Price let's go do it. Price didn't look pleased.

Zaria talks to Robert Stone. She wants to know who her next challenger is. Wren Sinclair comes in and wants to know who her next challenger is. Stone says he has to organize another tournament. Wren dares Zaria to enter the Speed Tournament. Wren then nominates herself as the next Women's N-A Title. Stone says if Wren can beat Zaria next week, she can get a title shot against her. Zaria tells her to count her days.

Thoughts: I didn't like this. The Speed Title isn't worth much and they buried it further here.

OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) vs Birthright (Stacks and Uriah Connors)

Nima pulls UC down off the lock up. Stacks side headlocks Nima and forearms him. Stacks boots him out of the corner and hits him. Nima just gets mad. UC tags in and is hit with snake eyes. Price hits UC in the gut. Price no sells UC's chop. Price chops him down.

UC takes a double back elbow. Stacks clips Nima from behind and Nima is double pounded on. Nima double suplexes his opponents. Price corner splashes both opponents. Nima throws UC over the top. Price knees Stacks in the face. Stacks is then thrown onto Birthright outside over the top.

We go to break and return. Stacks hits shots on Nima. Stacks springboard back elbows Nima. UC top rope swantons Nima for 2. Nima top rope diving single leg M. Bison stomps Stacks. Price comes in and drops the heels multiple times. Price hits corner splashes on the heels. Angel and Berto of Perros del Mal come out. UC superkicks Price. Price tkes a double team flying kick and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was acceptable but nothing too special. It just didn't get the time or the place on the card. Nima was distracted near the finish, causing Price to get pinned. Nima top rope single leg stomp was cool and Stacks took a big double throw outside.

Angel and Berto get in the ring. Price gives Nima the cold shoulder.

Kendal Grey says next week will be the biggest match of her career. She says she's training with her dad to get to where she is. We see clips of them training. We then see her train with Julius Creed. Creed says she has "it" and says she will bring it all next week vs Lola. KG says she's the best crossover athlete in WWE and not Lola.

Kali Armstrong complains about Lola getting the match with Kendal and not her. Izzi Dame says she just got here and needs to wait her turn. Kelani Jordan comes in and complains. She says she will be NXT women's champ. Reina Volcan says the division doesn't rebuild but reloads.

Shiloh Hill vs Tristan Angels

Hill knocks him down and corner spears him. TA double boots him otu of the corner and Hill back body drops him. Hill hits 2 lariats and TA double throat thrusts him. Hill shoulderbreakers him for 2. TA throws Hill down backwards. Hill hits elbows to the neck and chops him. Hill flying shoulders him.

TA blocks tiger feint kick on the outside and bridging neckbreakers him on the floor. We go to break and return. Hill hits him then TA backcrackers him while he's on the 2nd rope. They trade shots. Hill pump kicks him and tilt-a-whirl slams him. Hill standing inverted splashes him for 2.

TA comes off the 2nd rope and is slammed down for 2. Hill is crotched up top. TA step up enzugiri's him in the corner. TA superplexes him for 2. TA slaps him around. Hill lariats him over the top. TA trips Hill into the commentary table. TA sends him into the steps. 

TA misses a knee drop on the steps. Hill powerbombs him on the commentary table. Hill only gets a 2 count for it. TA backrolls him and holds the ropes for 2. Hill pop up forearms him and corner spears him. Hill 2nd rope neckbreakers him out of the backdrop position and pins him.

Thoughts: They did a little bit too much here with moves on the floor and commentary table not meaning all that much. They did keep it moving though and it wasn't boring.

Cruz Montana (Mike Santana) comes out. He says he's officially a WWE superstar.

He says there were a lot of times he didn't think he'd see the next day. He says he was no saint and was fighting the man in the mirror most nights. He says he was told he couldn't be the guy. He said he lost battles inside of himself but then he started to win. He says he loved and appreciated what TNA did for him. He says he stands here as a WWE superstar and not a thing was given to him. 

He says he came to NXT to prove he has what it takes to be the greatest in WWE. He says he's not here to fill a spot but to take it. He says that spot is the next NXT champ. He says Waller did a cute little promo and he will step to his face to talk to him.

Tony D'Angelo comes out. Tony welcomes him to NXT. He says he thought he would introduce himself since Cruz interrupted him last week. Tony says he's seen some of the hottest names walk in and say how they will run NXT. He says he believes in what he said except for the NXT champ part. He says that spot is taken until further notice. He says Cruz won't be NXT champ. Cruz says he will show him how he will take that spot.

Waller nails Cruz from behind. Tony and Waller fight. Cruz lariats Tony when Waller ducks. 

Overall thoughts: It was an alright show here. We had a lot of decent in-ring action and tons of different stories as usual. Nothing was must see in-ring wise but Waller's promo was easily one of the better things on the show. Hopefully it's a revival for him because he's a lot more talented than how he's been booked. I liked Borne/Hendrix best here. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall and the show was alright.
