Colton Theron Vaught says he faces Niles Plonk tonight. He said he's a vet in the ring. He said both of themare Harley guys. He said he lives by the quote - hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. He said somebody forgot to tell him he's talented and he said Niles doesn't work as hard as him. He aid something has to give and it's the belt around Niles' waist.

Niles Plonk and Stephen E. do a promo. E says it doesn't matter if CTV is an MMA star or tried with Harley Race. He said he will look at the lights tonight and go down 1-2-3. Niles says CTV can't outclass him.

Southern Heavyweight Title - Niles Plonk (c) vs Colton Theron Vaught

They lock up, let go and lock up again. They go int othe corner and CTV rubs his forearm in Niles' face. CTV takes down Niles then grabs his back and hits shots. CTV armlocks him. Niles goes up and over him in the corner and dropkicks him. Niles armdrags him.

Niles misses an elbow and gets armdragged. Niles goes for an armdrag but CTV armdrags him off of it. Stephen E trips CTV outside. Niles pullts CTV off the ropes then elbow drops him. Niles elbows CTV in the back of the head then clubs his chest. Stephen E cheapshots CTV and we go to break.

We return and CTV's head is banged off of Niles' knee. Stephen E cheapshots Niles again then Niles stomps CTV. CTV is thrown out onto the hard exposed floor. CTV Tries to get in but Niles knees him off the apron. Stephen E. stomps on Niles outside. CTV slingshot sunset flips Niles and the ref kicks Niles' arms while he tries to hold the ropes. The ref pushes Niles then CTV rolls up Niles. Niles then kicks CTV.

Niles cranks CTV's head then CTV strike flurries Niles. CTV takes a big back body drop. We go to break and return.  CTV backflips over Niles and german suplexes him. CTV lariats Niles then flying lariats him. CTV jumps over Niles' back and legdrops his neck. CTV running corkscrew ssp's Niles for 2.

CTV northern lights suplexes him then CTV dropkicks him in the corner. Stephen E gets on the apron and distracts CTV. CTV grabs him then Niles lariats CTV. Niles hits a snapmare driver and wins it.

It was a good, old school main here. Niles worked on CTV, roughed him up and cheated then CTV got his comeback in. CTV got distracted by Stephen E then was put down by Niles. There's people on TV weekly who couldn't do a solid one like this. Both the heel and the face were good in this and this really couldn't have gone much better. Niles Plonk is the real deal and should be in WWE.

Overall thoughts: There was only one match, but the match went 15-18+ and was good. Niles was a good heel here as usual and CTV did a good job as well as the face. It was a classic, old school style match and probably the best match I've seen out of Mid-States Wrestling so far.
