From the Vault: TNA Impact 5/1/2014 - Impact World Title - Eric Young (c) vs Bobby Roode

Boode side headlocks and hammerlocks him. Eric fireman's carry takeovers him. Eric shoulders him over then is shouldered over. Eric armdrags him then goes up and over to hit a punch. They either skip through a break or skip ahead here. Eric belly to belly suplexes him then topes him.

Roode back body drops him then does a pin attempt for 2. Roode spinebusters him then Eric misses a 2nd rope twisitng crossbody. Roode is caught off the ropes then takes a piledriver for 2. Roode hits a Roode bomb for 2. They trade shots then Roode step up enzugiri's him. Eric top rope elbow drops him and wins it.

It felt kind of rushed and it's hard to really know on my end if we saw the full match or not due to the cut. It was more of a midcard match than a big singles title match and it didn't have enough time.

Around the Ring with Gia Miller

Bhupinder Gujjar is Gia's guest this week. Gia puts him over as like the symbol of the modern man. He received an alumni distinction award recently from his college. He said he thinks how he finished his schooling and got into wrestling. He said he has more responsibilities now and wants to do better in his career. He said he is training wrestling every single day. They talk about going to the beach for cocktails and he said he's good at some indian dance. They then dance.

From the Vault: TNA Genesis 2011 1/9/2011 - Kazarian vs Jay Lethal

This is joined in progress. They are outside and Jay moonsaults off the apron onto him. Jay hitposses him into a cartwheel and dropkick. Jay hits chops and is sent into the 2nd buckle. Kaz is catapulted into the buckles then Jay leg lariats him for 2. Jay backdrops him then Jay takes a pendulum alabama slam which hit hard.

Kaz pounds on him then gutwrench powerbombs him. Kaz chokes him with the ropes then springboard legdrops him. Jay handspring back elbows him. They trade shots and Jay chops him. Kaz slingshots Jay into a cutter. Jay sunset bombs him off the buckles then Jay step up enzugiri's him. Jay hits a lethal combination for 2. Kaz slingshot ddt's him for 2.

Kaz slaps him and takes chops back. Jay suplexes him then gets kicked while up top. Jay gets crotched up top then Kaz samurai drivers him to win.

It started out well, but then they kept going and going and it was just too much.

Masha Slamovich vs Rosemary

Masha misses a splash then Rose thesz presses and punches her. Rose hits forearms then forearms her off the 2nd rope. Masha does a near saito suplex on Rose's head and hits snapmares. Masha kicks Rose in the chest and back.

Rose hanging chokes Masha over the top rope. Masha powerslams Rose for 2. Masha grounded cobra twists her then hits boots. Rose tries to power up, avoids a kick then lariats her several times. Rose sling blades her then does a northern lights/exploder suplex hybrid.

Masha side kicks her then does a neat double arm submission. Rose rolls her up for 2 twice. Masha shotgun dropkicks her in the corner then rolling armbars her off the 2nd rope. They counter each others moves and Rose hits a seated double arm ddt for 2. Killey Kelly gets on the apron and distracts Rose while the ref argues with Havoc on the apron. Masha nails Kelly on accident then Rose spears Masha and wins it.

The multiple counters spot near the end hurt some of the flow on this one. I don't know if the dirty finish was really needed here. It was fine though overall. Masha's double arm submission here was nice.

Overall thoughts: There was only one new match here and a new Around the Ring segment. I'm not real sure this is worth doing if that's all we are going to get, so we'll have to see what next week looks like. I wouldn't recommend this.
