Adam Page, John Silver and Alex Reynolds vs The Hardy Party - Matt Hardy and Private Party

Silver and Reynolds come out in stupid cowboy hats doing Page poses, making him look as goofy as they do. One of PP and Page do a fakeout exchange where the camera's missed a lot of it. Page and The Dork Order clear out their opponents and Silver jumps on Page's back as he drops on a PP member.  Page does a running SSP. A PP member clears out the Dork Order and PP double teams Silver. PP does a codebreaker/SSP combo. Page comes in and clears house. He flips out of a release german and lariats a PP member. Then he kips up and plancha's Hardy. Page then lariats Kassidy of PP. Page walks into a side-effect for 2. He then gets up and sends Hardy into the Dark Order corner and lariats him coming out. Both men tag out and Reynolds gets some offense on Marquen. The Dork Order triple teams Marquen and Reynolds gets pulled out on a likely pin. Silver gets hung on the apron and then takes a twist of fate. PP hits Gin and Juice and Hardy takes himself in for the pin on Reynolds. They kept it moving here with a rather fast paced match. PP doesn't look thrilled about the win win while Hardy does.

Cody and Brandi did a promo about expecting a baby. Hopefully it means less Brandi. They'll find something for her still I'm sure.  

Cody Rhodes vs Angelico

They talked about how Angelico has taken after Negro Navarro. Yeah, I wish. Negro's one of the better mat men of all time. Negro Navarro Jr. here does an armdrag on Cody. We came back from picture in and picture and Cody hits a slam on Angelico. Cody gets put in a submission and grabs the rope with his mouth. Cody brogue kicks Angelico and then hits a big forearm. Arn pushes Jack Evans outside. He tries for the disaster kick but Angelico throws him off. Then he puts him in the reverse figure four. Cody won with the Cody Cutter. Kind of short and a commercial cut into a lot of the match.

Team Taz came out after mocking Cody. Starks said Team Taz made him and Darby their sons with a whooping last time. Taz then said Cage is gonna destroy Cage. They also threatened to put Cody on paternity leave before Sting came out. Sting came out and all of Team Taz backed off even though Sting is 60 and crippled.

Miro did a promo. He's being fined 75k for hurting 3 staff members last week. He said he was going to get OC and have a wedding ceremony for Kip and Penelope.

 

Eddie Kingston came out. He said Pac is done and not coming back. He started talking about Archer who ran out and attacked him. The Butcher and the Blade followed, then The Lucha Bro's followed them. Then Pac came back. Fenix did a tornillo onto B&B. Archer had Kingston up for a chokeslam but Pac kicked Kingston in the face and he escaped. Pac and Archer then argued. Pac, you have no chance there. 

Dustin Rhodes was interviewed. He said 7 was a bad idea in WCW and 7 was a bad idea last week. Dustin said he's not the 3rd most important member of the Rhodes family and said he wants Pizza Uno 1v1 next week. 

Best Friends, The Varsity Blondes and Top Flight vs Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Ortiz, MJF, Sammy Guevarra and Santana

 

No intro for The VB's and TF. The VB's are off to a hot start with a tv debut loss last week and no intro this week. OC is at the commentary booth with a headset on without any cables plugged in. We never heard from Santana over last week's meeting, so I guess he's okay with how things worked out. Pillman hits a couple of flying moves on Jericho and sends him out. They talk about how Jericho has connections with the Hart family, and I'm not real sure about that. Griff gets in and legdrops Jericho. Sammy bumps well on a Griff hiptoss.

Sammy flips off Dante Martin and Martin kicks the finger. Sammy backflips over Dante while he was running and did some kind of flip dropkick to him. Dante jumps high and hits a standing legdrop onto Sammy. TF blows a spot as Darius Martin enters. Best Friends and Ex-Lax get into it stemming from their parking lot brawl and everyone gets in there to fight. We then get a 6 way hug. I think EX-LAX has new orange camo gear here. IC beats up on Trent and we do picture in picture again. We come back with the IC beating up on Trent. Trent moves on an SSP and kicks Sammy in the face. Darius comes in and hits a standing spanish fly and gets caught on a dive. Dante then dies on a couple of IC members. The faces all get a bunch of stuff in on Ortiz. Griff hits a nice spinning forearm on Ortiz and gets hit with a baseball bat by Jericho. Hager comes in, trips on the ropes and hits a big lariat. Then he forgets his spot and does a Wardlow move badly before MJF wins it on Griff. Everyone continues to fight after.

This was just a way to get a lot of people on the show. It was rushed and everyone was trying to get something in. Could have been worse but nothing special.

Thunder Rosa cuts a promo on Britt Baker. Rosa says she belongs in AEW then  Baker and her friend jump Rosa. They pour water on Rosa as Baker puts her in her submission. They asked if the camera still works or if Rosa's ugly face broke the camera.

SCU vs The Acclaimed

The Acclaimed rapped and accused Kaz of having hair plugs. I agree. Kaz then rapped. Kaz then did a purposefully bad rap and said something about Men on a Mission. Kaz caught Bowens in mid-air and suplexed him. SCU double teamed Bowens. Caster and Daniels exchanged some shots. SCU double teamed Caster with a leg and elbow drop. Kaz hit Castor with a good right hand and we go to picture in picture.

Back from break and Kaz goes out to in with a DDT on Caster. Daniels gets whipped into an STO on Caster then blue thunder's Bowens for 2. Kaz took out Caster over the top with a clothesline and Daniels did a crossbody for 2 on Caster. Daniels took a boom box to the head from Caster and Bowens hit a ripcord slam for the win. This was anything too special.

Caster did a rap on the Bucks. Bowens said the Acclaimed have arrived and challenged the Bucks for a tag title match next week. The Bucks seemed to agree.

Top Flight were interviewed. They said they wanted to challenge MJF and Jericho for next week.

Ivelisse and Diamante vs Big Swole and Serena Debb

I have 0 hope for this being any good. Deeb does a flying clothesline early. Diamante gets thrown overhead coming off the ropes. We do another picture in picture. Back to full screen and Deeb does an indian deathlock + suplex combo. Deeb neckbreaker's Ivelisse over the middle rope then figure four's her. Diamante and Ivelisse double slam her but Debb tags in Swole. Swole gets grabbed by the hair and underhook powerbomb's Diamante. She then texas cloverleaf's Diamane for the win. It wasn't anything good or interesting. The tranny and Vickie came in and I'm not watching that.

Best Friends did a promo on Miro. They said since Miro sabotaged OC's Diamond Ring match last week, they will be at the wedding between Kip and Penelope to sabotage it. Miro, you might want to get some security or something and save yourself problems.

FTR invade the announcers booth. They weren't happy as they didn't have a match for next week.

No DQ - Kenny Omega vs Joey Janela

 Doughy Janela is out with Sonny Kiss. Easily one of the strangest tag team combinations ever. You guys already know ahead of time that I'm going to hate this one. Kenny has the stupid broom girls out, but don't treat him as a joke or he'll get mad at you. Doughy hits him in the face with a transhcan during Kenny's entrance which was an immediate face turn for me. Tony told Don Callis to kiss his ass for some reason. Doughy dived on Kenny and Kenny did an over the shoulders legdrop onto his head on a chair. Joey is put in a chair on the outside and Kenny does a tope con giro to him, powerbombing himself on the floor for the 2nd time this week. Callis is doing his own commentary to make this even more annoying.

Kenny then grabs the mic and talks while he wrestles. He gives the ref the mic and does a moonsault with the garbage can on Doughy. Kenny continues to dominate while talking on the mic. Kenny puts a trashcan on Doughy and then double stomps him from the top rope. Doughboy does a poisonrana out of an OWA attempt. Doughy puts Kenny on a table and does a legdrop on Omega through it landing butt first on his face. Doughy misses a moonsault and both were back up from that big table spot in seconds. Kenny is back at full strength immediately, sprinting through stuff then wins with an OWA. This was a total squash of Janela and Kenny sold nothing as usual. Pac and the Lucha Bros came out. Pac said they have unfinished business. Pac said Rey never lost in the tournament for the title and doesn't get how Kenny is a legit champion. Callis interrupts and says wrestlers don't tell the champ what to do. Pac said he talked to "Totally not a money mark" Tony Khan vs Rey Fenix for the title.

Overall thoughts: This episode wasn't anything special and didn't have anything really good on it, but wasn't as offensive as some other weeks.
