They start out flurrying with big shots. Drag sentons him and Walter sleeper suplexes him. Walter hits some nasty chops and whiplashes Drag into the middle rope, then he smacks the back of his head off the mat. Walter hits a nasty elbow and Drag comes back with shots. Drag slaps him more and Walter slaps his chest hard.

They continue to slap each other hard with Walter really just bullying Drag. More shots by Drag and then he takes a release german. More slaps from each and Walter does a nasty kick on his neck. Walter stretches him over the top turnbuckle, slaps his chest then throws him over it in a nasty way. Drag tries to pull himself in and Walter kicks his hand off the rope and he just flops on the ground.

Drag makes a comeback which I didn't really buy and german'd Walter twice. Drag hits a big knee/kick then gets slapped and props himself up with his other arm then hits two hard enzugiri's. He then deadlift german's Walter. Nigel does a cringe line where he brings up Baba and All Japan. Drag FACE CHOPS Walter and then pounds on him. Walter does a nasty forearm to the side of the head.

Drag hits some wild lariats front and back. Walter hits a big one after some chops then powerbombs him. They do most slaps and Walter hits him with shoulders hard. Drag missile dropkicks him for 2. They continue to beat the crap out of each other and Drag does something like an exploder suplex to him. Drag torpedo's Walter. Drag throws like a high knee on Walter and ends up going up and over him. They fight outside and Drag gets sleeper german'd on the outside, then he gets push kicked into the steps like a ragdoll. Walter powerbombs him on the apron and then powerbombs him inside. Walter then splashes him from the top for 2. Walter then puts him to sleep with the sleeper for the win.

Overall thoughts: This was a pretty epic match. One of the most memorable matches I've seen easy. These two really beat the crap out of each other and it was sadistic at times. While a live crowd can really help a match, no crowd being here just made the chops echo and made it seem more brutal.

The match did go on a little longer than it needed to and they did do a little more than they needed to, but this was one of the best matches of the year and one everyone should check out.
