Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/08/tna-impact-7312025.html

Note - It was announced that Hulk Hogan had passed away today. I wrote about it here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/07/hulk-hogan-1953-2025_24.html

We get a graphic for Hulk Hogan and a USA chant.

We are live in Kingston, RI. We see clips from Slammiversary.

Santino Marella comes out. He says Slammiversary was epic and historic. He says NXT talent currently has the TNA and Knockouts Titles. He says he will do everything he can to rectify the situation. Santino says the TNA locker room are warriors and the best wrestlers. He says he will do everything to put the right people in the right positions to take the gold back. He says they will take back the gold and maybe take NXT's gold too. He then says he will take Ethan Page's WWE NXT North American Title on Tuesday.

Masha Slamovich comes out. She says she was the TNA Knockouts champ and beat everyone Santino put in from of her. She says Jacy Jayne stole the title from her. She says she wants her contractucal rematch next week. Santino agrees.

The System come out with Santino still in the ring. Eddie says Santino said there are warriors in this company. Eddie says the proof is right here. Eddie said they weren't just representing The System, they were representing TNA and the locker room. He says they sent DarkState packing back to NXT.

Eddie says he's been here a long time and has done everything to help the company succeed. He says he has also tried to take the company out in the past but he'll be d@mned if he lets outsiders take what doesn't belong to them. Brian says this brand means everything to The System.

Brian says TNA isn't a pit stop for them, it's The System's home. JDC says if TNA is going to war, The System will be the soldiers. JDC says they don't crack under pressure, they are the pressure. Moose says he accomplished almost everything in TNA. He says it's not about titles, it's about building a legacy that ties his name to TNA like AJ Styles.

He says Leon Slater reminded him why he loves TNA so much. He says they scratch, they bleed and they get back up to continue the fight. He said Leon did that and that's why he earned the right to be the youngest X-Division champ in TNA history. He says that's why he will take the X-Division to new heights.

Moose says our current champ is calling himself the face of TNA. He says a wiseman told him that you don't need to have the title to be the face of the company. He says Eddie Edwards is the heart and soul of TNA and he says Eddie can call him the face of the franchise. Moose says they keep putting TNA on their backs and carry the company through thick and thin. Moose says he knows what he must do next - whoop that trick.

Trick Williams then comes out with First Class. Trick tells Moose to sit his bobblehead @ss down. He says Moose lost his title at Slammiversary and then he mumbles over his words and calls out Trick. He says Moose must be stupid. Trick says this is his house now. He says he took out the average Joe and Mike Santana. He said he brought TNA the largest attendance of all-time. He says it's not TNA, it's Trick-N-A.

He says Moose doesn't have enough firepower for first class tricking. He said he can Order 4 like Ali and still not see him. Trick says he's the present, he's the man and Moose is the past. Moose tells him to wobble down here and bring Uncle Phil and Pink. He says the greatest faction will show them how they do things here in TNA.

Order 4 come out. Mustafa Ali says let's make sure Trick never mentions his name again or he will bury his @ss like his name is The Undertaker. Ali says the greatest faction in TNA isn't Second Class and it's not a broken down old System. Ali says it's Order 4. Ali says he demands the citizens of TNA give him a proper round of applause as he takes his rightful spot. The System and Order 4 then end up fighting and security is brought down to break it up. We then cut away.

Thoughts: The System's promo was simple but was done well and pretty much cemented their face turn.

The System talk to Santino in the back. Santino says he sees what is going on but there is too much chaos going on. He says he needs to figure this out. Matt Cardona comes out. He said they had his back at Slammiversary and if they need his help, he's always ready. Santino says Myers and Cardona should face The Great Hands and he makes another match with The System vs First Class and Trick for next week.

George Iceman comes out. He said he researched Rhode Island and found that they did absolutely nothing in their history. He said it's because they are a bunch of losers. He tells us to welcome The Elegance Brand.

The Elegance Brand (Ash, Heather and M By Elegance) vs The Iinspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) and Mara Sade

HBE = Heather By Elegance

Mara is the former Jakara Jackson from NXT and she actually wrestled in TNA under that name.

HBE gets on Ash's back for some reason. M comes in and pushes Jess' forehead. Jess shoulders her over then lifts Cass for a headscissors on M. The Brand saves M from a double suplex. The Brand then boots the faces and poses. The faces take them down en stereo and pound on them. M is lariated over the top then Jess, Cass and Mara do dives on The Brand outside.

We go to break and return. Ash tries to pin Cash then bangs her face off the buckles. Ash handspring back elbows Cass in the corner then Cass takes low dropkicks from the other 2 Brand members. Ash gets on M's shoulders and she is dropped down into a splash on Cass for 2.

The Brand chokes Cass on the ropes. Ash and Cass double clotheslines each other. A fight breaks out on the apron. Ash is tripped then M and Mara get in. Mara hits gut punches on M then euros her. Mara dropkicks HBE then hits flying corner hip attacks. Mara slingblades HBE.

Mara tornado ddt's M for 2. Jess hits a facekick on Ash then is stunnered by HBE. HBE hurricanrana's M off the top onto Mara for 2. Mara dropkicks M off the apron. Cass is tagged in and scorpion kicks HBE. HBE is swung into a powerbomb and is pinned.

Thoughts:
It was fine. The Iinspiration were a bit better than usual here and Mara had a decent debut under her new name. I'm just glad Mara picked up the win here in her return/debut under the new name. There really weren't any botches.

TNA Injury Report

Gia Miller has a head injury from Tessa Blanchard and is out.

Moose is day to day after his match with Leon Slater. KC Navarro is day to day after hurting his knee again during the Slammiversary ladder match.

Mike Santana is interviewed but he walks away without saying anything.

Indi Hartwell is asked what's next for her. Indi says Tessa attacking Gia was pathetic. She says she can focus on becoming Knockouts champ. Dani Luna comes in and thanks her. Victoria Crawford comes in and says she's officially a mentor. She says both of them have great potential. Indi says she doesn't want her to mentor her. Crawford said their issues are in the past. Dani offers herself up and Crawford says she will get both of them the matches she wanted since she's their mentor now.

The Northern Armory talk in the back. Eric says he gave 23 years to this company and outsiders are taking over. Eric says they need to fix it. Eric says maybe Mike and Joe don't want to fix it. Eric says maybe he needs to fix it and do it. Eric says he will cleanse this place.

Leon Slater comes out to talk. He says "we did it". He says Slammiversary was the biggest night of his life and the biggest show in TNA history. He said he walked out the youngest X-Division champ of all time. He said Moose put the title around his waist after he lost.

He says he wants to talk about AJ Styles. He said AJ congratulating him as some history. He says he's bringing this division back to its roots and mentions AJ, Daniels, Joe and others. He says he promises he will make this reign a special one.

He said The Hardy's didn't just pave the way for him but for the whole locker room. He asks them to come join him. The Hardy's come out. Matt says there's a special energy in this ring. Matt says this energy is what keeps The Hardy Train moving full speed ahead. Jeff says it's The Hardy Soul Train. He says they will keep chugging chugging until the wheels fall off.

Steve Maclin comes out. Steve says he's not happy with what happened at Slammiversary. He said our titles are on people who don't work here. He says he has real TNA champs in this ring. He puts over the other three wrestlers.

Steve says the fans believed in them and now it's on them to hold the line. He said they need to draw a line in the sand and make a declaration. He says if you step up, be ware as this is his home and family. He says whoever steps up better be ready for a war. Matt says it's a war they will refuse to lose.

No DQ Match - Jake Something vs Mance Warner

Jake running lariats Mance while entering ringside. Mance hits Jake with a trash can lid then a steel chair. Mance's head is banged face first off the lid. Jake goes for a dive and is chaired as he goes to dive.

Mance chops him. Mance sets up a 2x2 of chairs. Jake bodyblocks Mance then bangs his face off the mat. Jake sitout powerbombs Mance for 2.

Steph pulls on Jake's leg up top. Mance superplexes Jake onto the 2x2 chair set. Steph gives Mance a sledgehammer. Mance has a chair forearmed into his face. Jake pours thumbtacks on the floor. Mance is backdropped on the tacks and Jake stupidly goes into them too.

Jake blackhole slams him in the ring and wins.

Thoughts: It was a short one and it wasn't that wild of a hardcore match. What we got was acceptable and all but it was one of the weakest hardcore matches I have seen.

Fatal Influence comes onto the stage. Jacy says to take a look at your new Knockouts champ. She asks why everyone is so shocked. She said a woman from the deepest women's division came here and took out Masha. She said you think of Gail Kim, Mickie James, Awesome Kong and Jordynne Grace when you see this title. She says she's here to change the course of history and says you will think of Jacy Jayne when you see the title. She says her reign will be historic and epic.

She says the women are talented in the back but are all over the place. She rips some of the roster. She says she is at the top of her game and says she will hold onto the title for a long time. She says she always gets the last laugh.

Order 4 (Jason Hotch and John Skyler) vs Brian Myers and Matt Cardona

Matt and JH go at it. They shove each other and JH goes down. JH boots him and hits a forearm. Matt flapjacks him. JH takes a nodowa otoshi + russian legsweep combo. JH is backdropped. JH then goes out and BM chases him.

JH superkicks BM while he's on the apron and sends him out. John sends BM into the apron edge. JH side headlocks BM. BM hits a ddt + flatliner combo on Order 4. Matt comes in and lariats John. Matt 2nd rope dropkicks him.

Matt hits a killswitch on John for 2. BM lariats JH over the top and goes with him. Matt forearms John in the corner then hits Ali. Tasha gets on the apron and Alisha pulls her down. Alisha and Tasha fight.

One of Ali's guards comes in and double arm chokeslams Matt. John then pins Matt.

Thoughts: It was a short one and what we got was okay. Matt and Brian had some nice double teams. The guard who threw down Matt seems like he will be used going forward as they pointed him out.

The guard poses with Order 4 after.

Frankie Kazarian comes down to do commentary. The announcers tell him to leave and then security and a ref tries to get him out.

Joe Hendry vs Mike Santana

Joe offers a handshake and Mike accepts. They lock up and Joe backs him up in the corner. They shove each other. Mike wristlocks him then Joe fireman's carry takeovers him. Joe rolls out of a wristlock and they stand off.

Mike headflips out of a wristlock and side headlock takeovers him. Joe headscissors him and they stand off. Mike side headlock takeovers him. Mike armlocks him. Joe headflips out of it then side headlok takeovers him. Mike headscissors him and they stand off.

They shove each other and shoulder battle. Joe hiptosses him and gets armdragged twice. Mike gets a 2 count on him then sentons him. We go to break and return.

Mike hits forearms on Joe then Joe chops him. Mike flying lariats him then kips up. Mike running chops him in the corner. Joe cutters him from the side.

Joe hits punches on Mike then he lariats him. Joe fallaway slams him. Joe olympic slams Mike for 2. Mike chops and forearms him. Joe pop-up powerboms him. Joe AA's Mike for 2. Mike backrolls into a stunner for 2. Mike hits a top rope splash on Joe for 2.

They trade shots and Mike superkicks him. Mike rolls him up for 2. Joe gets some 2 counts on him. Mike la magistral's him. Mike then gets a jack knife pin and wins.

Thoughts: It was better than expected and they had a pretty standard format with this match. It felt like they were planning for a much longer match than what they got. Joe went down pretty easy here in yet another loss. I liked the match and it was pretty safe. Some of the spinning strike attempts and dodges here looked bad though.

They go head to head and shake hands after.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual Impact episode. It was fine but nothing must see. I liked the opening segment with The System cutting a nice promo and turning face. The women's 6-man tag was fine and Jakara Jackson redebuted here. Jake/Mance was a very weak and safe hardcore match but what we got was acceptable. Order 4 vs Cardona/Myers was short. Hendry/Santana was a solid main but Joe went down easy and lost yet another match, which is just cooling him off more and more. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 total as the show was okay overall.
