Hulk Hogan 1953-2025
Hulk Hogan passed away today on July 24, 2025 due to cardiac arrest.
Hulk was the biggest wrestling star of all-time, a hero to millions, a symbol of the US and a symbol of the 1980's. Wrestling would not be where it is today without him and I would not be running this website without him. I really never thought this day would come.
He was one of the best interviews of all time. He had one of the best looks in wrestling of all time. He was a master of comebacks to the point that it became known as "hulking up" and whether people realize it or not, he really did know how to work.
While
some, including myself, criticized him for not always doing what was
best for the company or other wrestlers, there's no denying it worked
long term. He was able to stay at the top for 20 years and outlasted almost all of his peers.
I'll never forgive the wrestling fans of Los Angeles for trying to humiliate him in his what would be his last WWE appearance after Hulk had entertained them for decades and literally brought back mainstream wrestling to Los Angeles after the territories had died.
I hope he
will be honored at a governmental level for being a symbol of the
country. Hulkamania will indeed live forever and I believe that he will
be remembered for hundreds of years to come.
