WWE Monday Night Raw 7/7/2025

We are in Providence, Rhode Island. Corey Graves and Michael Cole are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Seth Rollins' crew comes out. Seth calls for the mic and Bron takes it. Bron says Seth and Paul have a vision that has him at the top of WWE for the next 2 decades. He also has a vision for WWE without Sami Zayn. Bron says he doesn't like Zami's face, beard or music. He says he doesn't get why people cheer for someone who doesn't go to the gym like Sami, who wants 5 more years to squeeze water out of the rag. He says Sami has an expiration date. He says he will maul Sami's head off if he comes out and he will be looking at the lights by the end of it. 

Reed says him and Bron are tough acts to follow. He said he hit Seth with 6 tsunami's and said he hurt him so bad that it built a respect between them. He says Seth then brought him into his group and vision. He says he will get the respect he deserves with the vision. He says Jey Uso doesn't respect him and he will tsunami the respect into him.

Paul says the empire strikes back tonight. He says the empire strikes first. He says he has love for Jey Uso and Bloodline, but Roman Reigns doesn't have the balls to come back and step up against them. He says Jey will be MIA due to the tsunami of Bronson Reed.

Paul says Seth will fight Penta tonight. He says Penta won't be in shape to do his hand signals ever again. Seth then says welcome to Monday Night Rollins.

The Judgment Day talk in the back. There's a picture of Liv with candles as if she was dead. Raquel asks what that is. Perez said she made it for Dom. Raquel says Liv will be back soon. Finn says it took him 8 months to recover from his injury. He says the picture is nice. Raquel says them keeping the titles will be a nice picture. JD tells Finn and Dom that they should go talk to Adam Pearce. Dom then finds a get well soon case. Finn and JD say they didn't make it. The cake says, "Get Well Soon Dom, from AJ". We then see AJ Styles looking at him behind a tool box. Dom says he has a doctor's note and AJ is gone.

Kairi Sane vs Roxanne Perez

RP hits forearms and clubs on Sane. RP hits mounted shots. Sane's head is banged off the buckles. RP's head is banged off the buckles. RP side headlocks her. RP tries to throw her back by the hair but Sane falls. They mess up a sunset flip. Sane side headlocks her.

RP avoids a uraken. They trade pin attempts. Sane headscissors her. Sane uses the ropes to headscissors her then urakens her. Sane flying forearms her against the bottom rope then flying forearms her off the apron.

RP stomps Sane's arm over the bottom rope connector. We go to break and return.  Sane hits shots on RP then headhunters her. Sane flying forearms her against the bottom rope. RP rolls her up for 2 then superkicks her in the face. RP asai moonsaults her for 2. RP cranks her arm back. 

RP misses a corner charge. RP single arm ddt's her. RP cartwheel double knees her for 2. Sane knocks her off the top. Sane top rope flying forearms her. Sane alabama slams her. Raquel pulls RP out. Sane then top rope plancha's Raquel outside. Sane backslides her and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't think it was that good. Sane was off again with some sloppy moments which is unlike her.

Raquel nails Sane from behind then Perez joins in. Raquel facekicks Sane. Asuka then comes out to help. Asuka knocks over Perez and hits kicks on Raquel. Asuka uraken's RP then Raquel lariats Asuka. Asuka armbars Raquel over the top then Sane throws Raquel over the top. Asuka hip attacks Raquel off the apron. Sane hits a top rope elbow drop on Perez. 

Sami Zayn is interviewed in the back. Sami says he's not managing all that is going on. He says he'd love to pay more attention to his injured ribs, Karrion Kross or the revenge on Kross but he can't think about it. He says he has to pay attention to Bron Breakker as he's one of the most dangerous men on the planet. He says he will deal with Kross.

Scarlet comes in. She is asked if she wants to say anything and she just says "no".

American Made talk to Adam Pearce. Adam tells them El Grande Americano is wrestling tonight. Brutus says it's impossible as Chad Gable is hurt. Julius slaps him for it. Ivy says Chad won't be happy about this and Adam says Chad can call him. Ivy says she wants a battle royale spot at Evolution and Adam says she's in.

Asuka and Sane talk to Adam. They say they want Judgment Day. Adam says they should be in the 4-way for the Women's Tag Titles. Asuka and Sane then yell "Kabuki Warriors" and dance.

We get a video with Nikki Bella. She said she came back a few weeks ago and things have changed. She said she didn't expect to get into an altercation with Liv Morgan. She said Liv wants to question her legacy and she attacked her. She said that lit a fire under her. She says she wants to make a return to the ring. She says she wants one more moment to prove herself. She says she will be in the Evolution battle royale. She says she wants the title opportunities. She says you don't run from your past, you build from it. She says the last Evolution was a history making event and she will make history again at Evolution.

Sami Zayn comes out for his match. Karrion Kross hits him from behind and Kross has new shoulder and arm tattoos. Kross then hits him with a pipe. 

We go to break and return. Sami insists he can go and Pearce tries tries to stop him. 

Bron Breakker vs Sami Zayn

Bron says "look at him". Sami tries punches while holding his ribs. Bron hits corner spears. Sami goes down and Bron says to look at him. He says Sami's pathetic and a bum. Bron rips Sami's rib tape off. Bron fireman's carry gutbusters him.

Bron overhead suplexes him. Bron runs at him and is lariated. Sami double axe handles him off the buckles. Sami tries again and is speared in mid-air. Bron runs around the ring and spears Sami outside. Bron hits a big spear in the ring and pins him.

Thoughts: It was what it should have been with Bron beating Sami with ease due to Sami's injured ribs. Bron's mid-air spear was nice here.

The docs check on Sami after.  

Pearce talks to The Viking Raiders in the back. The New Day come in wearing all black like they are in mourning. They have black roses. They say Pearce helped kill the tag division when they gave a judgment Day a title shot. Kofi wants to know when their rematch is. The Raiders said The New Day said they wanted to make sure new people got title shots when they wanted one. Becky Lynch walks in and says sorry for New Day's loss. She says Pearce is full horrible ideas but says getting rid of Big E wasn't a horrible idea.

Becky Lynch comes out to talk. She wants to know how 2 losers got a title shot. She said she beat Bayley and Lyra and neither deserve an opportunity. She says she deserves to pick her own opponent. She says Bayley and Lyra are working together and it's a rouse. She says they pinned each other and that's statistically rare.

Bayley and Lyra then come out individually. Lyra walks past Bay and runs into her. Lyra asks what Becky is talking about. She says she's completed her transition into a lunatic. She says her title is around a bucket full of crazy and it's time she took it back.

Bay says she'd be champ if it wasn't for Lyra 2 weeks ago. Lyra says she's speaking to her again. Bay said she didn't talk to her after Mania and she needs to get over it. She says she doesn't need partners or friends, she needs the title. Becky says "look at you" and says it's good she's not trying so hard anymore. Becky says Lyra dropped her like a hot potato at Mania.

Lyra says Becky attacked Bay at Mania and called Lyra. Becky says there wasn't much hesitation in her voice. Lyra says Bay doesn't care about friendship when it comes to championship gold and says it makes her like Becky. Lyra says she has to rescue the title at Evolution from two massive disappointments.

Bay says she sat front row when Lyra won the title and said she watched her rise to the top. She said she watched her lose the title and raise Becky's hand like a b!tch. Lyra swings at Bay, hits Becky instead then fights with Bay. Lyra dropkicks Bay through the ropes. Lyra AA's Becky and Bay. Lyra raises Becky's arm and says it's the last time her arm will be raised with the title.

We get clips of Sheamus vs Rusev.

Seth Rollins' crew talks in the back. Seth said it couldn't have gone better. Bron asks what they will do about Karrion Kross. He says people will think he couldn't beat Sami by himself. Seth says Sami was the target and Bron got it. Paul walks in. He says Sami Zayn is out of action indefinitely. The crew laughs.

Seth asks what Reed is laughing at. He says Jey Uso is in perfectly fine condition and Reed says he won't be when he's done with him.

Jey Uso vs Bronson Reed

Jey comes through the crowd like usual. They trade shots. Reed takes a back splash and an enzugiri in the corner. Reed bodyblocks him. Reed elbow drops him then misses a senton. Jey hits punches then spinning enzugiri's him out. Jey topes him outside over the commentary table.

Jey superkicks him outside. Reed is in a chair with wheels and Jey superkicks him. Jey goes to dive and Reed throws the chair at him. The ref then calls for a DQ.

Thoughts: We didn't get much but what we got was decent with Jey making comebacks and timing things right.

Reed then top rope splashes him after. Reed hits another top rope splash and officials come out.

LA Knight does a video. He says Seth holds the keys and the power. He says Seth has a lot of paying to do and is in debt. He says Seth must carry the burden. He says he can't take the case off of him but will permanently make it part of him. He says Seth will know whose game it is at SNME.

We get a Rhea Ripley vs Iyo Sky video. Rhea said Iyo Sky has always had her number and she never beat her.

El Grande Americano vs Dragon Lee

Grande shoulders over Lee. Lee rolls him up for 1. Grande flying headscissors him. Lee flying bodyscissors him. Grande trips Lee. They stand off.

Lee top rope crossbodies Grande for 2. Grande armdrags him and is tripped into the buckles. Lee moneky flips him but Grande lands on his feet. Lee dropkicks him then lariats him over the top. Lee dropkicks him through the ropes. Lee goes to dive and takes a kick to the head.

Lee is sent into the steps. Grande then pounds on him. Lee is thrown hard into the rails and goes over them. We go to break and return. Grande takes a sitout powerbomb for 2. Lee tries to unmask him and hits a pumping knee.

Lee hits combinacion cabron in the corner. Lee hits a corner dropkick for 2. Grande walks up the buckles and kind of does a diving blockbuster down. Grande is in tree of woe and Lee top rope double stomps him down. Lee hits a tope con hilo. Lee misses a move off the top and Grande flying headbutts him in the chest (with a loading mask) for the win.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. This Grande is too big and can't do the lucha moves clean. It's also pretty obvious who it is. Corey called Cole "Alex Jones" here.

Paul Heyman talks to Penta in the back. He talks in Spanish to him and Penta talks back. Bron comes in. Penta does his zero miedo taunt and Bron says he hates it. He says it's 3-up, 3-down like we are in baseball.

We get a video on Stephanie Vaquer. She says she has arrived on Raw to do what she always does - dominate.

Gunther comes out to talk. He says he will defend his title vs Goldberg. He says he's been abusing Goldberg and Goldberg did nothing about it. He says he can only assume he's afraid of him. Goldberg rides in with a sports car and heads to the ring.

Goldberg gets in Gunther's face and slaps the mic away from him. Goldberg tells him to hit him. Gunther tries and Goldberg punches him out. Goldberg goes for the spear and Gunther runs. Goldberg says "5 days".

Seth Rollins vs Penta

Penta superkicks him the bangs Seth's head off the commentary table. Penta leg kicks him and bangs Seth's head off the rail. Penta chops him outside. Seth's head is banged off the commentary table. Penta chops the post when Seth moves. Penta is thrown over the rail. Penta diving headscissors him off the rail.

Seth stomps Penta as he gets in and hits chops. Penta boots him out of the corner. Seth avoids a pendulum kick in the corner. Penta lariats him over the top. Penta then tope con hilos him. We go to break and return. Seth has a small cut on his eyebrow. He wipes the blood off with some of the cloth on Penta's mask. Penta hits chops. Penta slingblade facebusters him. Penta step up enzugiri's him in the corner. Penta does a handstand double pendulum kick in the corner.

Penta does an up and over backcracker for 2. Seth catches Penta and gutbusters him. Seth top rope splashes Penta for 2. Seth sits up top and Penta headscissors him down. Penta hits a made in Japan for 2.

Seth upkicks Penta then buckle bombs him. Penta no sells it and canadian destroyers him for 2. Penta goes for something and Seth headbutts him in the crotch. Seth curbstomps him and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like the buckle bomb no sell and the canadian drestroyer not meaning much but the rest was okay enough here. Penta just mostly did his spots but Seth was athletic enough to go along with it and they did okay here.

Paul gets on the phone after and calls Reed and Bron. Reed and Bron come down. LA Knight then hits a BFT on Seth and runs. LA is then in the crowd to close the show.

Overall thoughts: Kairi Sane looked off again in the opener. Bron vs Sami wasn't too much with Sami being injured and Bron quickly beating him. Uso/Reed was another short one. Grande/Lee got time but this Grande is too big and can't do the lucha stuff as well as Chad did. Golberg came out and got some shots in on Gunther. Seth/Penta was okay. It was a pretty average show as they had a lot to build here with SNME and Evolution this weekend and they couldn't give away too much because of it. There was nothing must see on here and I wasn't super invested in it. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 total and wouldn't recommend it.
