Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/07/aew-dynamite-792025.html

Ian Riccaboni, Excalibur and Taz are on commentary. We are in Ontario, California.

Adam Page comes out to talk. He said he made a promise to win the title and says it's a vow he will keep. He says you are dumb if you think he will let The Death Riders cost him this. He says he knows The Death Riders are coming so he will welcome them. He says give him everything or death and makes it a texas death match.

Mox and Shafir come out. Mox says Page wants to put all his chips on the table at All In in a texas death match. Mox then says "no". He says Page doesn't want that even though he thinks he does. He says Page doesn't want to win. He says he won the Owen Cup but it wasn't the top of the mountain. He says that's for someone else and Mox says he lives in pressure. He says he will show what a champ looks like at All In. He says Page doesn't have it inside of him.

Page slaps him. Mox then takes him down and hits mounted punches. Page gets on top and tries to stab him with a fork. Yutacomes down and gets hit with the fork. Shafir slaps Page. Claudio Castagnoli then comes out and he beats up Page with Yuta. CC neutralizers Page.

Page gets up as The Riders leave. He asks if that's the best they got. He says he's still standing. CC gets mad and heads back to ringside. Samoa Joe then comes out and blocks his path. Hobbs and Shibata then come out and there's a stand off. Shafir then tries to hit Page with the briefcase. Page takes the briefcase. He tells Mox to be the champ he says he is and says to give him a texas death match. Mox then agrees. Page says Mox needs a reminder that he will do whatever it takes and hits a buckshot lariat on Shafir.

We get some Superman themed segment with Toni and someone named Rachel. Toni comes up with nicknames for her.

Toni is at a table with food outside. Mina flurries on Mone and Mone hides in the ropes. Mina chases Mone around the ring then Mone stomps on her. Mone armdrags her. Mina trips Mone on the leapfrog. Mina rolls her up for 2. Mina thesz presses her and hits mounted punches.

Mone 2nd rope meteora's Mina. We goto PiP break and return. Mina corkscrews over the refs back onto a splash on Mone. Mina splashes Mone's leg. Mone then does a crossface. Mina figure fours her. They then roll outside with the hold on. Toni Storm is at ringside and stares at them. Mina headscissors Mone down to the floor and tornado ddt's her on the floor.

Mone meteora's Mina off the apron. They hold each other's arms and trade forearms. Mone 2nd rope sunset flips her then rolls her into a meteora. Mone sunset bombs her into the corner then meteora's her in the corner for 2. Mone tries a meteora off the buckles but I guess Mina rolls through. Mina dragon screws Mone then figure fours her.

Mina top rope diving slingblades her. Mina spinning forearms her in the back and the back of the head. Mina then kicks her right in the jaw from behind. Mina then its the glamorous driver for 2. Mone backcrackers Mina then Mina running knees her for 2. Mone drops Mina's chest on Mone's knees. Mina goes for the figure four and is cradled. Mone wins.

Thoughts: It was really sloppy early. Mina's head kick from behind to the jaw was totally brutal and they should have never done that. Mina did work the knee some here to her credit. Mone spinned the meteora like usual, doing it something like 5 times. I can't really put this over due to how sloppy the first part of this was.

Mone hits Mina after. Toni comes in, Mone runs then Mone runs in and hits her in the head with the belt. Mone then throws champagne at Luther.

The Young Bucks are outside at the arena I guess. They say this is a bit of a homecoming and they are celebrating 300 episodes of Dynamite. They then show a limo with their faces on it. The limo also has a bunch of shoes inside. They then want to go on a shopping spree and show around their home town They go back to their old school and says they are the most famous people in the city. We go to break and return and they are still touring around.

AR ddt's King while he's over the 2nd rope. Bowens hits the arrival on AR. King over the shoulder piledrivers Bowens for 2. MJF armbars AR while hooking his leg and submits him.

Thoughts: It was your usual 4-way though really only one of the guys did the flying here. There wasn't a lot of selling and there was alot of people rotating in and out after taking a move. I thought it went a little longer than it needed to and MJF winning was kind of obvious.

The Hurt's get in the ring with MJF after. Mark Briscoe then comes on the stage. Mark says MJF has ensured himself an uninterrupted @ss whooping from him for a bit in the Casino Gauntlet.

Mark says MJF calling him a "blue collar b!tch" ensured his beatdown. He challenges MJF to a "talky talk" next week in the ring.

Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey then come out and hit offense on The Hurt's. Mike gets sent shoulder first into the post. Shelton forearms Mike down and Bobby hits knees to Kevin's injured ribs. Bobby flatliners Kevin then Shelton slams Mike. Bobby and Shelton leave but Mike and Kevin call for more. The Hurt's then hit a dominator and powerbomb on them. The Hurt's leave then Mike and Kevin get up again. The Hurt's beat them up again. Bobby dominators Mike.

Kevin and Mike get on the mic after. Kevin says they are still alive. Kevin says they know how to hurt people but they need to learn how to kill them to keep the titles. Kevin says Shelton hits like a b!tch. He then challenges him for Collision.

The Bucks hit superkicks and Kyle hits a rebound double lariat. Kyle takes a 3 person EVP trigger. KT hits raging fire on Kyle and pins him.

Thoughts
: It was all fast paced action here with little selling and nothing really meaning anything. The Bucks got most of their usual offense in here as usual. I thought it went too long and I wasn't a huge fan of it.

Ospreay and Swerve attack The Bucks after. The Bucks then leave. Swerve gets on the mic and tries to get The Bucks to put their EVP titles on the line. Swerve says Tony Khan is the only person who runs the company.

Will tells The Bucks to give them an answer. The Bucks say they think they make the rolls. The Bucks say they are the bosses and they aren't. They say they won't put their EVP titles on the line and ask what do they get out of it? Will says something to Swerve. Will says if they lose, him and Swerve and can't challenge for the title for one year. The Bucks are interested in this for some reason but say Swerve has to be on the same page. Swerve agrees.

Thoughts: I don't get why The Bucks care if Will or Swerve challenge for the world title or not. I don't know why they think that's worth the EVP role either, since they are EVP's and can just tell them no title shot regardless.

We go to a black screen and then go to break. We come back and see Superman flying as there's some Superman advertisements on this show.

Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland vs Dralistico and The Beast Mortos

Mort takes a stormbreaker + top rope double stomp. Dral is popped up into a styles clash from Will. Swerve hits a house call kick on Dral and Will pins Dral.

Thoughts:
It was another fast paced and high flying match. The luchadores lost as expected here and Mortos makes it high again on the card after beginning to date Mone. I was alright with this as they didn't go too far.

Kota Ibushi vs Kazuchika Okada

KO piefaces Kota then rolls out. Kota hits slaps. KO hits Kota from behind. Kota running kicks KO. Kota plancha's him outside. Kota rams KO's back into the apron side. Kota is tripped into the steps.

We go to PiP break and return. KO facekicks Kota. Kota dropkicks him. Kota chest kicks KO down. Kota hits a standing moonsault on KO for 2. Kota running knees him for 2. KO flapjacks Kota. Okada does the money clip on Kota. Kota armdrags him off. KO over the shoulder neckbreakers him on the knee. KO slams him then top rope elbow drops him.

KO boots him out of the corner then john woo's him. KO hits forearms and Kota hulks up. Kota hits punches on KO in the corner. Kota hits a big lariat on KO. KO hits a nasty german. Kota high kicks him. They fight on the buckles and Kota top rope tiger drivers him for 2.

KO hits a big lariat then a dropkick. KO rainmakers him and wins.

Thoughts: It was a decent match with them hitting each other hard. I wish the top rope tiger driver would have meant a bit more here though as that should have put Okada down. Kota really drilled here with a hard german.

Kota gets beaten up by Lance, Romero and Don Callis after. Kenny Omega comes out with a chiar to make the save. Trent Barrett goes after Kota with a weapon. Kenny powerbomb throws Trent into a german from Kota.

Overall thoughts: It was a show with a ton of wrestling. There were 5 matches and 4 of them got plenty of time and most things on this show did run a bit longer than usual. The matches did run together a bit though as they all had high flying and lots of kicks. There weren't a lot of new developments otherwise except for Page challenging Mox to a texas death match. I'd give this one a 5 out of 10 as there wasn't much but wrestling here and the matches were the usual AEW style matches which I'm not always a huge fan of.
