We are in Chicago, IL. Nigel McGuinness, Colt Cabana and Tony Schiavone are on commentary.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and brings out Dustin Rhodes. DR says he wishes his dad was with him right now. He said he would fall down as a kid and his dad would tell him to keep steppin'. He said he did that after various things happened and he said he lived with that motto everyday. He said it means hope.

He talked about making it big then hitting rock bottom. He said he questioned if he could still do this but said he never told himself he wasn't good enough. He said he has fallen down and failed a lot of times for 37 years but getting back up keeps him going every day. He says he's now the face of TNT. He said he promises to give his all as he wants to be a fighting champ. He says he kept stepping for his parents. 

Don Callis comes out with Kyle Fletcher. Kyle says it was a touching story but is a load of crap. Kyle says the celebration tonight was supposed to be his and the moment on Saturday was for him. He said he earned a 1v1 chance at the title and DR weaseled his way in. He says Dr has signed his own death certificate. He says he won't rest until he has taken everything from him. He says his TNT Title still belongs to him.

DR says Kyle is impressive and a machine. He says the respect goes to Kyle but failure after failure goes to him. He said he lost to Lance, Sammy, Christian and Brodie Lee. He says all Kyle does is complain and moan. DR says he worked 3x in 24 hours last weekend while Kyle worked once. He said he pulled it off and Kyle didn't.

Don asks Kyle to take a step back. Don says DR is a great man and a legend. Don says they have known each other since 1997. Ge says he's a great wrestler and a better man. He said of all the demons DR slayed, he's still chasing the title. He asks what happens when Kyle takes the belt from DR? He asks who will mop up the tears? He says he will hold a place in The Don Callis Family for DR. Don says he wants DR to really think about this as a place in his family is much better than being the 3rd wheel in the dysfunctional Rhodes family.

DR grabs Don. Kyle hits DR from behind. DR hits shots on Kyle and lariats him over the top.

Thoughts: It was a good segment with DR cutting a good promo as usual.

We get a video on The Conglomeration. They talk about some of the events of Dynamite and Mark says he will hurt MJF next time he sees him. Willow complains about Kris pulling her out of the ring on Dynamite.

Ricochet vs AR Fox

This is a continuation from 3 weeks ago then Ric left AR during a tag match and laughed at him getting beaten up by The Gates of Agony.

Ric goes out to start the match, AR chases him and Ric gets back in the ring. Ric armdrags AR. AR gets on top of him and punches him. Ric suicide dives him outside. The Gates of Agony come down the ramp. AR sweeps Ric on the apron then flips on the ropes into a double stomp on AR. AR twisting suplexes Ric for 2.

Ric backrakes AR then hits mounted corner punches. AR then slaps Ric in the back of the head. Ric takes a flying corner lariat. Toa Liona then drops AR back first on the apron. 

We go to PiP break and return. Ric is on the apron. AR hits punches on him. AR hits downward elbow strikes. AR slingshot swantons Ric then tope con hilos him outside. AR flying corner lariats Ric. AR top rope swantons Ric for 2.

Ric backrolls AR. They trade pin attempts. Ric does a nice deadlift death valley driver for 2. AR enzugiri's Ric. Ric superkicks him. AR facekicks him. Ric on the 2nd rope and AR slingshot canadian destoryers him for 2.

Ric is on the buckles and is kicked. AR misses a 450 then Ric hits a spirit gun and pins him to win.

Thoughts: It was what you would expect with lots of flying. The longer this went the better chance they had of overdoing it and eventually they did. Ric really shouldn't have needed so much time to take down AR.

The Gates throw out AR after.

Marina Shafir and Jon Moxley come out and beat up Colt Cabana for some reason. Colt is bleeding then Yuta beats up on him. Mox gets on the mic. He says he thought this is was Colt's favorite stuff and he's just giving the people what they want. Mox then hangs Colt with a chain. We then go to break.

Thoughts: Well, that's why Colt was out there. Why him? Who knows.

Lexi interviews Kris Statlander in the back. Kris says her and Willow are former friends but says they were opponents in recent matches. She says she's a wrestler and that's what she does. The Death Riders walk past. Yuta says it was a tough week but champions bounce back. Shafir then pulls Yuta away. 

Megan Bayne vs Tay Melo

Meg hits corner spears on Tay. She then piefaces her. Tay hits a forearm flurry in the corner. Meg lariats her. Meg slams her and Tay armbars her. Tay headscissors Meg over the top then kicks her from the apron. Tay is caught coming off the apron and Meg fallaway slams her on the floor.

We go to PiP break and return. Tay jawbreakers her then hits running forearms. Tay hits a nice flying forearm to the face. Tay pump kicks her in the corner three times. Tay then face kicks her against the bottom buckle. Meg no sells it and gets up. Tay germans her. Meg catches her pumping knee then belly to belly suplexes her.

Tay guillotines Meg then Meg falcon arrows her for 2. Tay pumping knees her then hits our 2nd canadian destroyer of the night on her for 2. Meg exploders her. Meg flying lariats her. Meg running sitout powerbombs Tay and wins.

Thoughts: I liked it at first but didn't like the canadian destroyer kick out. I thought it should have ended before that happened. They had the general idea right though otherwise.

Team Skyflight does a promo. Don Callis comes in as Scorpio Sky says they are always looking for a fight. Don seems to try to recruit Sky. Daniels says if Don ever wants to give his crew a real fight, they got him covered. Daniels says if that's their first fight, he knows they are ready.

Alex Windsor does a video before her match. She says she pushed Athena to her limit at Global Wars Australia. She said Tony Khan signed her because of that and she makes her official Collision debut tonight. She says her name will be on everyone's list soon.

Alex Windsor vs Taya Valkyrie

Taya throws down Alex off the lock up and kicks her. Taya running back elbows her in the corner then corner meteora's her. Alex goes up and over then hits armdrags. Alex basement dropkicks her for 2.

Alex neckbreakers her while she sits on the 2nd rope for 2. Alex sharpshooters Taya. Taya pulls the hair to escape. Alex spinning lariats her for 2. Alex headbutts her then submits her with a sharpshooter.

Thoughts: It was short and not much. Alex won as expected here and didn't do anything super impressive. 

Athena appears on the balcony. She says Alex took no one to the limit and got beat like the rest. She says this is her time. She says the people want her to flail, use innuendos and have an accent like Toni. She says maybe they like Toni's pose.

Toni Storm then comes out on the ramp. She says she's the only balcony b!tch in this business. She says Athena should sign the contract and fight her now. Athena says "no", but maybe if Tony gets on her knees and begs like the dirty disease-ridden wh*re she is. Ath says Toni has to fight Billie Starkz on Dynamite and says she will be circling her like a shark after. Toni says she loves Billie and says if Billie beats her, she can have a title shot as well. Toni then runs out to try and catch Athena on the balcony. Athena then runs. 

Anthony Bowens has an ipad and is interviewed. He said he didn't get a chance to speak to Billy Gunn. Gunn comes in. Bowens says they aren't on the same page and it affects his career. Gunn says the obsession over Max affects his career. Gunn says they need to get on the same page. Bowens says he's not obsessed with Max and is upset Gunn wasn't with him at All In. Gunn says half the time he wants him there and half the time he doesn't. He says he got a slumpbuster match to put Bowens on track next week and asks if he trusts him. They then scissor. Gunn says we're back. 

$200,000 Dollar Four Way Tag Team Match - Big Bill & Bryan Keith vs. The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) vs. Gates Of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) vs. CRU (Action Andretti & Lio Rush)

Austin and Lio go at it. Lio rolls him up. Austin hits punches. AA flying kicks Austin. Colten hits a double flying lariat on Cru. Kaun rolls up Colten for 2 then crossbodies him. Toa lariats Colten for 2.

Colten dropkicks Kaun. Bryan and Austin get in. Bryan head kicks him. Colten hits a euro step neckbreaker on Bryan. All 8 get in and fight. They then fight outside. 

We go to PiP break and return. Lio handspring kicks people off the apron and tries to hit Bill but just gets him mad. Bill comes in and hits lariats on several people. He corner splashes Austin and Kaun. He lariats Austin over the top. Bill facekicks Kaun off the apron. Bill black hole slams Lio.

Colten tags himself in and is punched by Bill. Bill facekicks Austin outside. Toa pounces Bill over the commentary table. Austin fameassers Lio. Ricochet comes out and pulls Austin out. Colten Gunn is being worked on outside by a doctor. Action takes a t-gimmick from GOA and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was okay enough but hard to follow and pretty hectic with tons of people coming in and out. Colten Gunn got injured here but we really couldn't see it. I was surprised to see The Gates win and it may be one of their biggest wins in AEW.

Max Caster is in the ring. He says he's bringing some excitement and the crowd gets to chant his name. The crowd does chant along and Max says it was bad.

Kyle O'Reilly vs Max Caster

Kyle hits a strike combo on Max to start. Max avoids a high kick then goes out and grabs the mic. He says the clock is ticking and Kyle can't survive. He then runs from him outside. Max then pretends to be tripped by Roderick Strong.

Kyle bangs Max's head off the steps and hits chest kicks.  Max eye rakes him. Kyle blocks a sunset flip then armbars Max. He then taps him out to win.

Thoughts: It was the same stuff we get every week with Max going down easy. I'm still not sure what the point of this character is for Max.

We then see Ishii and Hologram watching in the back.

Juice Robinson does a promo. He says Ricochet cost his crew $200,000. Big Bill comes in and shoves Juice as he complains about Juice saying Ric stuck his nose in their business. They fight and refs break it up.

Katsuyori Shibata vs Rush

They stare down and trade forearms and chops. Rush spinning forearms him and knocks him out of the ring. KS is sent into the rail and steps. KS facekicks him off the apron then Rush is sent into the rails.

We go to PiP break and return. Rush hits chops then is chopped back. KS corner facekicks him and hits forearms in the corner. KS corner dropkicks him. KS double underhook suplexes Rush for 2. They trade vertical suplexes.

They trade germans. Rush chest headbutts him. KS sleepers him. Dralistico and Mortos run in and get hit. Rush tries to roll up KS but KS is against the ropes. KS STO's him.

Rush hits a big forearm. Rush stomps on him in the corner and does his corner dropkick on him. Rush then wins.

Thoughts: It was one of Shibata's better matches in AEW. They just hit each other hard here and suplexed each other the whole time and it worked. Shibata is doing a lot more than what he used to when he started and it makes for more entertaining matches.

Rysh grabs Shibata's trios title after. Powerhouse Hobbs comes down, hits Mortos with a chair and the rest run. 

Bandido, JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) & Mascara Dorada vs. The Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Josh Alexander, Lance Archer & Rocky Romero)

Hech knees Band in the gut and pounds on his head. Hech then rips at his mask. Hech pulls him down off the leapfrog. Band spin kicks him in the face. Band hits knees to the gut. MD spinning headscissors Hech. Lance crackerjack's MD.

MD jumps off RR and headscissors Josh. He then corkscrew kicks RR. Josh and RR are lariated over the top. Lance takes facekicks then is superkicked by MD. Lance takes a triple dropkick.

Hech hits MD from behind. Hech is thrown out. The faces then all hit plancha's outside. The faces get offense on the heels outside. Hech is dropped throat first on the rails. Josh backbreakers Mike then reverse suplexes him. We go to PiP break and return. Mike 2nd rope dropkicks Josh. Band hits punches on Josh then gorilla press slams him.

Hech rips the tape off of Band. Band flying corner facekicks him. Hech step up kicks him in the corner. Band sunset bombs him. MD and Lance fight. MD corkscrew headscissors him. RR is dropped on MD for 2. Hech spinning drops Kevin on his chest. Band flying sick kicks Hech. Josh germans Band. Mike standing moonsault double knees Josh. Lance chokeslams Mike onto Band.

Kevin dropkicks Lance off the apron. Kevin is then launched by his buddies off the middle rope into an asai moonsault. MD moonsautls but RR gets his feet up. RR hits a sliced bread for 2. Hech flips Md into a kick. Band hits a 21plex on RR as his buddies do dives, MD top rope ssp's RR and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a very fast paced match toward the end to the point that I couldn't even call what was going on. The faces all did lots of flying here and the heels threw them around. It was entertaining and it was what it should have been but it wasn't anything super memorable.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual Collision B-show where the stars weren't here and where there weren't a lot of new developments. The four way, the Shibata/Rush match, Dustin's promo and the main were the best things on here. None of them were must see though. I'd give it a low 6 out of 10 as they had a few good matches.
