C running facekicks her on the ropes then running facekicks her for 2. C hits a nice chokeslam for 2. Saya diving headscissors her off the buckles and pins her.
Thoughts: I thought it went a bit longer for what they were trying to do. It also ran into issues as C was the giant here and Saya was the smaller wrestler despite being the heel. Saya didn't really get enough heat or cheat enough to make this work. The finish did somewhat work though with Saya winning with a flash headscissors.
5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Ami Sourei vs. Aya Sakura
Aya misses a dropkick to start. Ami chops her then Aay running dropkicks her. Ami shoulders her over. Aya hits a leg kick then hits corner chest forearms and knees. Aya spinning heel kicks her then Ami knocks her over. Ami slams her for 2.

Ami tries a deadlift suplex and Aya cradles her for 2. Ami running lariats her. Ami hits a landslide and wins.
Thoughts: It was short but I was okay with this. Aya did a nice job as the underdog face with her fiery kicks and submission attempts before being put down.
5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Miyu Amasaki vs. Yuria Hime
Hime running dropkicks her and hits facekicks. Hime hits mounted forearms. Hime misses a legdrop and takes a basement dropkick. Hime then jumping legdrops Miyu while she's kneeling then does something similar. Hime headscissors her and hits a devil's kiss after Miyu ropebreaks.
Hime running facekicks her on the ropes then Miyu hits a ddt. Miyu jumping pendulum ddt's her then Hime cradles her for 2. Miyu hits a weird facebuster/pedigree where she has Hime's arms on Hime's back then facebusters her.
Thoughts: It was another short one with Miyu winning as expected. There wasn't a lot to it and it had no real issues.

Rina facekicks her then Rina backslides her into a pin attempt. Rian reverses it and tries her own pin. Rian cutters her. Rina gori bombs her and wins.
Thoughts: I liked it. Rian was the total underdog and wrestled like one with tons of pin attempts. She got close but got put down in the end. It made sense, they kept things moving and they had a nice tease or two before Rian lost.

Thoughts: It was a quick one and a waste of time. I didn't like the finish as MW kind of rolled through and no sold a ddt and then won.
5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Mei Seira vs. Waka Tsukiyama
Mei trips her then backrolls her. Waka tries pin attempts. Mei rolls her up and wins.
Thoughts: It was another short waste of time with them barely wrestling 30 seconds.
5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Hina vs. Suzu Suzuki
There's no ref in the ring for some reason and they have to wait for a ref to come down to start this.
They each miss shots then stand off. Hina hits chest forearms and Suzu hair throws her. Suzu foot chokes her on the ropes. Suzu kicks her in the back. Suzu misses a driveby kick then Hina STO's her on the apron. Hina slams Suzu.

Hina slaps her then Suzu half-nelson slams her. Suzu buzzsaw kicks her then Hina gets a 2 count on her. Momo hits a tequila shot and wins.
Thoughts: I was fine with this one. They hit each other hard and they kept up a good pace. Hina looked like a completely different wrestler than usual and if Suzu is what it takes to get that out of here, then they need to be fighting more.
5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - HANAKO vs. Ranna Yagami
Ran hits chest kicks to start. Ran misses a dropkick and Han shoulders her over. Ran dropicks her. Han hits a powerbomb off a triangle attempt. Ran high kicks her in the corner then kicks her in the back. Han slams her then knee drops her for 2.
Han crabs her. Ran hits slaps and forearms. Han running facekicks her then suplexes her for 2. Ran hits a high kick then running leg lariats her for 2. Ran double armbars her. Han lariats her then hits a sitout torture rack drop to win.
Thoughts: Like a lot of stuff here so far, it didn't really get enough time to playout, it was average and the outcome was not much of a surprise.
They fight more after and Han shoves her title in her face and slaps her.
5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Bea Priestley vs. Yuna Mizumori
Yuna says she has a question in English. She puts on her glasses and asks if she is some guys b!tch?
Bea forearms her and the match starts. Bea throws her then lariats her over the top. Bea double axe handles her outside and teases sending her into the seats but does. Bea is sent into the post then Yuna running lariats her against the post. Bea forearms her over.

Yuna does another roll-up then Bea pump kicks her. Bea hits a hard backdrop for 2. Bea hits a sitout backdrop and wins.
Thoughts: It wasn't too much of note here. Bea had the size and power advantage and kind of used it and Yuna did her usual lariats and face stuff. Bea wasn't the heel here and if she was, she wasn't good at it, so they didn't make the most of out of this with a heel giant vs babyface smaller wrestler story. It was basically the opposite of the opener logic wise.
5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Hanan vs. Azusa Inaba
They trade wristlocks. AI rolling legbars her. Han forearms her and AI spin kicks her. AI bodyscissors takedowns her. Han flying euros her then slams her.

Han walks up the buckles and misses a crossbody then AI PK's her for 2. Han flying leg lariats her then hits a cuty special for 2. AI backdrosp her. Han no sells it. Han then backdrops her.
Han is tripped from the inside and AI pins Han to win.
Thoughts: It was another shorter one and this one had a lame finish with Han being tripped by Rina outside. It didn't get enough time to be anything special and we didn't even get to the middle portion of this before it ended. Things looked promising so it was a waste of time.
5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Ruaka vs. Bozilla
Boz backs her up on the ropes then shoulders her over twice. Boz corner splashes her and hits chops. Boz is on the 2nd rope and Ruaka suplexes her down. Boz running headbutts her. They lariat each other on the ropes then Boz is pulled out. Boz throws her into the seats outside.

Boz samoan drops her. Boz death valley drivers her for 2. Ruaka hits forearms then Boz headbutts her from behind. Boz hits mounted shots on her from behind. Ruaka rolls out and makes Boz chase her around the ring and up the ramp. Boz slams her on the ramp. Ruaka hits her with a box and tapes her arm to the rail. Boz escapes and both end up getting counted out while trying to stop the other from getting in.
Thoughts: It was going well as they were doing power vs power wrestling. Then Ruaka tried to get Boz counted out and both ended up getting counted out. I guess it made sense but it wasn't great.
5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Saori Anou vs. Saya Iida

Anouthen adds a headscissors onto it and Iida taps out.
Thoughts: It was alright. Saya never really got to bust out the big stuff here and Anou always seemed in control of this one.
5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - AZM vs. Natsuko Tora
AZM's entrance goes off and she appears behind Tora and attacks her. AZM is rammed into the buckles then chopped against the post. Tora misses a splash against the post then is sent into the chairs.

Tora back body drops her then Tora cradle shocks her for 2. AZM then gets a 2 count. AZM hits a la mistica drop. Tora then just kind of lays on her and pins her.
Thoughts: It was unusual with AZM attacking Tora before the match instead of the opposite. They didn't get a lot of time here and the ending was kind of sudden.

TI ankle locks Kid twice and Kid ropebreaks. TI foot chokes her. Kid trips her then dragon screws her. Kid standing moonsaults her knee. Kid hits a big forearm. Kid misses a top rope moonsault. TI PK's her. TI michinoku drivers her for 2. TI chest kicks her then leglocks her. TI does a figure four variation and submits her.
Thoughts: I liked it and was an okay match. It was leg work vs leg work here with TI eventually winning out.

Sare dropkicks her to start and hits mounted forearms. Sare then headbutt flurries her. Kon then hits a headbutt flurry on her. Kon PK's her. Sare low dropkicks her and boots her in the corner. Sare foot chokes her. Sare fisherman suplexes her for 2.

Sare dragon screws her then double stomps the leg. Sare figure fours her and Kon ropebreaks. Sare double stomps Kon. Sare hits a top rope double stomp for 2. Sare uranage's her for 2.
Kon sleepers her then grounds her with it. Kon then shockingly gets the win as Sare is out.
Thoughts: That's one of the biggest wins Kon has ever had. I'd love to know the politics behind it as Sareee doesn't lose a lot, especially when it's not a big match. The loss is kind of stupid as the only way Sareee is not winning her block is if she loses and Kon has no chance of winning this block. And if this is a quid-pro-quo thing, Stardom isn't sending Saya Kamitani for example to do a job to Sare. The work was okay but there wasn't a great story here or anything.
Kon beats up some of the young girls after. Chi-Chi has to hold back Sare as her and Kon fight. Kon then talks trash on the mic and Sare goes to the back.

Poi armbreakers Saya then knees her in the face. Saya hits chest forearms and Poi chest forearms her down. Poi armbars her. Poi running headhunters her.
Poi is on the buckles and Saya dropkicks her down. Saya top rope plancha's her outside. They are on the buckles and Saya hanging dragon sleepers her. Saya top rope dropkicks her for 2. Poi spin kicks her then Saya grounded sleepers her. Poi ropebreaks. Saya hits a twisting fisherman's neckbreaker for 2. Poi superkicks her.
Poi tries a pin and Saya reverses it. Poi release germans her. Saya spears her for 2. Saya running knees her in the front then the back. Saya falcon arrows her for 2. Poi superkicks her then germans her. Poi spin kicks her then twisting fisherman's neckbreakers her for 2. Poi hits a top rope cartwheel splash for 2. Poi ranhei's her and wins.
Thoughts: This was about Saya going for the upset and ultimately failing. Saya got some rub here being in the main event against Poi and she looked alright. I didn't think it was great or anything but it was just alright.
Poi talks to Saya on the mic after then talks on the mic after.
Overall thoughts: It was a long show with 15 matches. Usually they split these up into 2 shows but they didn't here. That of course meant that a lot of matches went short and were ultimately wastes of time. The length also brought this down some as after a certain point we had seen everything. Not many of the matches got to go all out here as this was the start of a tournament and not the end of it, so the girls had to work smarter so they didn't miss out on the next 10+ shows. Like a lot of longer shows, if you search through enough of the matches here you will find something you like but there was a lot of stuff that was cut short here. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as I enjoyed about half the show.
