This is on a Thursday due to All:In Texas and goes up against TNA Impact.

The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher, Trent Baretta and Rocky Romero) vs Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong)

Don Callis is on commentary. KOR hits leg kicks on KF. KF shoulders him over. KOR knees him in the gut. Cole and Trent fight. Cole wristlocks him. Trent reverses it. Trent takes a backdrop + neckbreaker combo. Trent takes a basement dropkick from Cole for 2. Trent takes strikes from Paragon. Trent is suplexed onto RR. Trent double throat thrusts Strong. 

KF and RR stomp on Strong. KF michinoku drivers Strong. RR corner lariats Strong. KOR gets in and hits strikes on RR. He legsweeps him. KOR chest kicks Trent down then dragon screws KF. KOR flying knees RR off the apron. Trent is sent into the rails. KOR flying dropkicks Trent from the apron. RR topes KOR.

We go to PiP break and return. KF slams KOR. KOR armdrags Trent then they double clothesline each other. KOR back body drops Trent over the top. Strong dropkicks Trent through the ropes then lariats KF over the top. Strong lifts RR for a razor's edge then twisting drops him down. Strong olympic slams Trent.

KF corner facekicks Strong and suplexes him. Strong takes a top rope diving knee from RR and an AA from Trent for 2. KF misses a corner kick and goes over the top.

Cole hits back elbows and pump kicks on RR and Trent. Cole ushigoroshi's Trent then hits oblivion on RR. Cole and KF hockey fight. KF half and half suplexes Cole.  Cole superkicks KF out of the corner then hits a panama sunrise for 2. 

KF hits a big lariat on Cole. Trent takes a double team then RR hits a double shiranui. Cole superkicks RR then hits the boom knee from behind. Cole then wins.

Thoughts: It was acceptable but not one of the more memorable outings. It was fast paced and they kept the action moving though. 

KF goes after Cole and Cole threatens to hit him with the belt. Cole puts the belt down and says let's fight. Don tells KF not to.

Mox and The Death Riders do a video. They say they've been testing people for a year now and most don't have what it takes. Gabe rips Shibata for hanging with Hobbs and Joe and says he doesn't have any fighting spirit left. Yuta says he will move forward after Hobbs beat him. CC says beggars are not warriors and warriors don't beg. Mox says you gotta be all in or all out to do the real thing.

Taz looks at Mistico's la mistica in a "Technique By Taz" segment. He says la mistica takes a lot of core strength and says it's one of the many reasons why Mistico is a force to be reckoned with.

We see Harley Cameron working out. She says she crashes a lot but when she crashes, she drinks idrinq in a commercial.

We get a Scorpio Sky video. He says it's a good to be back and it can go all away with a blink of the eye. He's with Daniels and Top Flight and he says it's The Skyflight team. Daniels puts over the team and says they are more than the sum of their parts. He says the sky is no limit.

Mistico vs The Beast Mortos

 

Mort hits shots on Mist. Mist botches a handspring then flying headscissors him. Mist's springboard is caught. Mort is dropkicked into the ropes for a 619. Mist springboard diving headscissors him.

Mist topes Mort outside twice. Mist springboard splashes Mort. Mist walks up the buckles and corkscrew armdrags Mort down. Mort enzugiri's him in the corner then powerslams him. Mort twists Mist's neck with his feet. We go to PiP break and return.

Mist enzugiri's Mort from the apron then springboard crossbodies him. Mist springboard headscissors him. Mist spinning headscissors him. Mist hits a springboard back elbow for 2. Mist toyota rolls into a sunset bomb for 2. Mort pop-up samoan drops him for 2.

Mort drops Mist's chest onto his double knees. Mist tilt-a-whirl armdrags Mort. Mist hits strikes then does a canadian destroyer ddt. Mist top rope moonsaults but lands on Mort's boots. Mort is belly to belly suplexed into the buckles. Mist then hits la mistica and submits him.

Thoughts: It went a little longer than it needed to and got boring near the end. I didn't like the canadian destroyer ddt not meaning anything here. Mist didn't have the cleanest night ever here. 

MJF gets on the tron with Mist's mask that he took. He says Mist thinks he will go to the casino gauntlet and get in MJF's way. MJF says Mist won't get in it as he will pin Mark as soon as it starts. MJF says he will keep collecting Mist's masks until he has all of them and has to show the world his face. 

Mark Briscoe does a promo. He says he's coming to win the casino gauntlet and doesn't care who shows up. He says it has become personal with MJF. He says MJF is a piece of sh!t and he said he knew he was gonna invoke his brother's name. Mark says he was getting more mad as MJF disrespected his family. He says he plans to win on Saturday but needs to come home on Sunday. He says he will look his family in the eyes and say, "I ain't let that sh!t fly". Mark says he has go to whoop his @ss.

We see a segment from Dynamite last night. Renee interviews Adam Page. He said he doesn't want to talk about what happened with her. Page goes into Swerve's locker and finds Nana and Will. Page asks for 2 minutes with Swerve.

Page and Swerve talk. Swerve says Page wants to ask him for help and says go ahead. Page says he couldn't. Page says he's going into a suicide mission on Saturday. He said he wants to do what he should have done 2 years ago. Page said he had nothing to do with The Bucks and everything that happened at Dynasty. Page says his kids wakes up screaming because he thinks he sees Swerve in his room. Page says Swerve deserves what he did and he thinks Swerve knows it. He says that's why he regrets it. He asks if Swerve regrets what he did.

Swerve said he would have said no years ago but he does regret it now. Page says he's bringing his family Saturday and Swerve says he will stay clear of them. Page says he believes him. Swerve said he was planning to raise his kids in the house Page burnt down. He says maybe it's time to let go of the past after all. Swerve then picks up Page's chain that he dropped.

Thoughts: It was a good segment and kind of soap like. Maybe not perfect but they should definitely do more things like this and keep the Page/Swerve thing going.

Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir come out. Mox asks what kind of crap that was. Shafir says Page is no cowboy and calls him something that is bleeped out. Mox says he will make no apologies and have no regrets. He says Page has 48 hours.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and The Patriarchy (Christian Cage and Nick Wayne) vs The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum), Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight

Mike and Nick lock up. They go into the corner and Nick ducks a high kick. Nick side headlock takeovers Mike. Mike chest kicks him down. Nick takes a double hiptoss then a double facekick. Nick stalls outside. CC pounds on Kevin in the corner. Kevin dropkicks CC. Cash eye rakes Kevin and then euros him over.

Cash chops Kevin down. Kevin springboards, botches but recovers with an armdrag. Truth comes in and takes a hard forearm from Cash. Truth throws Dax then flying headscissors and dropkicks him.  Dax takes a knee lift then a backdrop from the Runners for 2. The 8 then stand off and fight. They then go out and fight. Cash pulls Kevin over the top. 

We go to PiP break and return. Dax chinlocks Kevin and Kevin jawbreakers him. Dax blocks Kevin's tag. Dax misses a splash and goes into the post. Truth comes in and hits shot son Nick and the other heels. The Runners hit corner attacks on the heels then Truth hits a bulldog + lariat combo.

Truth is pulled crotch first into the post. Nick shiranui's Truth for 2. Truth is in the opponents corner and gets hit by the heels.  Nick chinlocks Truth. Truth suplexes Nick. Truth back body drops Dax. Truth makes the tag but the ref doesn't see it and the heels beat up Truth in the corner. Cash cobra clutches Truth.

Truth lariats Cash and tags in Mike. Mike bangs Dax's head off the buckles and top rope dropkicks him. Mike hits facekicks then kick combos Nick. Mike spin kicks Dax and axe kicks him. Mike chest kicks Dax down. Mike running ssp's Dax for 2. Mike hits a top rope moonsault onto the heels outside. Mike thne top rope ssp's Dax for 2. Everyone starts getting a move in. Turbo takes a shatter machine then Mike sunset flips Dax off a shatter machine attempt for 2.

CC spears Dax on accident. CC takes a double team powerslam from The Runners. Kevin hits a springboard double lariat. Mike spinning high kicks Dax. Kevin top rope 180 splashes Dax and wins.

Thoughts: It was what you would expect and it was a decent match. The heels were heels, the faces made their comebacks and sold. I liked it. 

Big Boom AJ of The Costco Guys is interviewed by Lexi. AJ says he called out The Don Callis Family. He says Don may have a family and says AJ does too. We then see Big Justice and The Rizzler. Rizzler and AJ say they need a conglomeration. Hologram and Ishii then come in. The Don Callis Family come in and says this is an embarrassment. Rocky says it's 4v3 in their father. Kyle O'Reilly then comes in and says The Conglomeration is back for one night only. AJ says they are bringing the boom. The two sides then argue. 

FTR and Stokeley Hathaway do a promo. Stoke says trusting Christian Cage was a mistake. He says they will settle the score with The Outrunners once and for all at All In. Stoke says they will be there at the tag title match and say whatever happens, happens.

Katsuyori Shibata vs Gabe Kidd

 

Gabe runs in and takes a facekick. They trade forearms. KS euros him and is bitten in the head. Gabe corner lariats him. KS jumping facekicks him in the corner. KS hits a forearm flurry in the corner. KS chases Gabe around the ring and is shouldered over.

KS jumping facekicks Gabe off the apron. Gabe is sent into the rails and KS facekicks him. Gabe eye rakes him and hits forearms in the corner. Gabe corner dropkicks him. Gabe then does KS' pose.We go to PiP break and return. 

Gabe hits chops on KS. KS chops back. KS hits a corner dropkick. KS double underhook suplexes him. Gabe backdrops him for 2 then brainbusters him. Gabe slaps KS' back. Gabe sits down. KS slaps him in the head and pounds on him. Gabe facekicks him then KS facekicks him. Gabe hits a spinning lariat for 1.

KS sends him flying with a lariat. Gabe punches him in the face. KS slaps and chops him. KS chest kicks him then sleepers him. Wheeler Yuta gets on the apron and KS facekicks him. Gabe low blows KS then piledrivers him for the win.

Thoughts: It was good match with the two hitting each other hard with various chops and making lots of loud sounds. It was one of Shibata's better matches in AEW so far.

Kris Statlander then comes out to do commentary for the next match.

Willow Nightingale, Mina Shirakawa, Queen Aminata and Thunder Rosa vs Megan Bayne, Athena, Thekla and Julia Hart

Ath and Mina armdrag each other. Mina shimmies and is kicked. Mina kicks her from the buckles and Ath cartwheels out of her spinning headscissors. Mina slingblades her. Rosa hits chops on Ath. Rosa armdrags Ath. Ath rolls her up for 2. Ath superkicks her. Rosa flying headscissors Ath then jumps on her on the ropes.

Rosa rolls her into a double stomp. Willow hits corner lariats on Ath. Willow slams her for 2. Meg comes in and hits a double lariat Meg splashes Willow and Rosa in the corner. Ath hits a forward cartwheel forearm. Meg then fallaway slams Willow and Rosa at the same time.

Meg throws Ath out onto Rosa and Willow. We go to PiP break and return. Hart puts the tarantula on Willow on the ropes. Willow death valley drivers her. Thek spin kicks Queen in the gut. Queen slaps her. Thek limbos out of a lariat then superkicks her in the head.

Thek hits a big forearm on Queen then boots her in the side of the head over the 2nd rope. Queen headbutts Thek then neckbreakers her for 1. Meg falcon arrows Queen then Willow pounces Meg. Ath htis an o-face on Willow. Rosa dropkicks Ath. Mina top rope plancha Ath and Meg outside. Ath spears Rosa. Hart top rope moonsaults Rosa for 2. Mina hits a double lariat.

Thek and Hart do stereo spider superplexes. Queen pulls out Thek and sends her into te rails. Meg flying lariats queen outside. Mina uses the apron and tornado ddt's Meg on the floor. Rosa and Ath double lariat each other on the floor. Willow doctor bombs Hart and pins her.

Thoughts: It was what you would expect. It was a fast paced match with a lot of people coming in and out as they pleased. They didn't really botch here so it was fine but nothing too special.

Billie Starkz and Julia Hart beat up on Rosa and Willow after. Tay Melo and Anna Jay then fight with Skye and Hart. Ford and Meg then join the battle. Refs then come down as everyone fights. Kris Statlander gets in the ring and stares down Meg. Ford then jumps on Kris' back. 

Overall thoughts: It was a wrestling heavy show as usual with lots of 6 and 8 person tags. The opener was acceptable. Mist and Mort were doing okay but then went too long and I didn't like it. I liked the FTR tag. Shibata/Gabe was Shibata's best US match yet possibly and had lots of hard strikes. The Page/Swerve segment was good and the main was fine. I'd give the show a 6 out of 10 overall and would recommend checking out the Page/Swerve segment if nothing else. It was an okay show overall.
