Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/07/wwe-superstars-12202013.html

Tom Phillips and Alex Riley are on commentary. We have tables, ladders and chairs all around the ring as TLC is coming up.

Kaitlyn vs Aksana

This is a rematch from last week's show. Ak clubs Kait in the back. Kait waistlock takedowns her then Kait waistlock takedowns her. Kait blocks a boot, waistlock takedowns her and spanks her. Ak is tripped and Kait corner splashes her. Kait short arm clotheslines her for 2.

Ak back elbows her out of the corner then throws her down backwards. Ak hits mounted forearms and kicks her in the ribs. Kait back backbreakers her then does a nice flying shoulder. Ak kicks her then they botch a double leg takedown for 2.

Kait boots her in the corner and misses a corner spear. Ak spinebusters her for 2. Ak hits elbow drops and gets caught trying to pin her with her feet on the ropes. Ak does a grounded tazzmission. Ak throws her down backwards then side slams her. Ak crawls around the ring and kicks her from that stance for 2. Ak yells at the crowd and is rolled up for 2. Kait then hits a spear and wins.

Thoughts: It was beyond GLOW levels of basic here. But they only had one botch. Aksana is not athletic in any way but she really does try to be a heel and I have to put that over. It went a little longer than it needed to and I didn't think Kaitlyn brought much to this.

Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) vs 3MB (Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal)

Jin and a Matador go at it. The Matador goes up and over and standing hurricanrana's him. Jin is then monkey flipped. Jin takes a double irish whip then a double back body drop for 2. Jin's head is banged off the buckles. A Matador handstands on the 2nd buckle then headscissors Jin off of it. Jin does a nice flying high shoulderblock.

Jin is sent out then a Matador triangle plancha's him outside. Drew goes to help Jin and takes a cannonball from the apron. We go to break and return. A Matador is speared off the apron and goes down. Drew then rams a Matador's back into the apron edge. A Matador is hit in the gut then takes a kick.

Jin knee drops a Matador for 2. Jin does a grounded abdominal stretch to a Matador. A Matador is dropped gut first on the ropes then Drew clubs on him. A Matador rolls up Drew for 2. Drew then lariats him for 2. A Matador takes a double russian legsweep for 2 then Jin kicks him in the ribs. Jin knee drops his back.

A Matador takes a double suplex for 2. Jin misses a corner splash and is hit with an enzugiri. The other Matador takes in and just runs straight into Drew twice. He then battering rams him off the 2nd rope. Drew is hit with a spinning neckbreaker for 2. Drew then hits a surprise claymore kick for 2. A Matador hits a springboard back elbow on him and Jin is sent over the top.

We get a blind tag and a Matador tornado ddt's Drew. Drew takes a double torture rack drop and Los Matadores pick up the win.

Thoughts: It was a simple and fun tag. It was nothing too memorable but I liked it. They had a good rhythm going on in this one and both teams were fine in their face and heel roles.

Jinder chases El Torito after and takes a double shot. Jin then takes a double backdrop + springboard la silla from El Torito.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches as usual and as often is the case, the men's match was miles above the women's match. Aksana is not athletically gifted in any way but she really does try to be a heel at all times and she definitely has some use as a wrestler. Both teams were solid in the men's tag match and it was an easy one to watch. You don't really need to see anything here though.
