Tony Schiavone is in the ring and brings out Adam Page. Page says triumph and defeat are momentary. He says the win and the loss don't matter, what you do with it matters. Page thanks Will for the fight of his life and says he can carry the company forward. Page basically says the tournament is in the past and he has to return the belt.

Page says he needs to focus on the AEW Title now and says it's been hidden in a briefcase for months. He talks about what the title is about. he said he told the people they would be his boss and says he will win the AEW Title in 7 weeks.

Swerve Strickland comes out. Swerve says he's here because The Young Bucks say they cost Swerve the title for Page in a past video, which we see. Swerve said he had the title match won months ago and The Bucks cost him it. He says Page was also in the ring that night. Swerve says there's collusion here. Swerve said Page promised Swerve wouldn't be champ again. Swerve asked if Page worked with The Bucks to keep Swerve from getting the title.

Page says if he wanted to cost him the match, he would have done it to his face because he has done it before. Swerve says he's still full of sh!t. 

Will Opsreay comes out. Will says Swerve is wrong about Page. He says you learn a lot about someone when you face them. He said Page shook his hand after their match. Will said Swerve did the same thing. Will says the three of them should team up. Swerve says he would never. Page says he won't work with him either.

We get an Anarchy in the Arena video.

We see The Death Riders and Gabe Kidd arrive in a pick up truck.

Gabe Kidd and The Death Riders(Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir) vs Willow Nightingale, Mark Briscoe and Mike Bailey

Mark and Gabe trade to start. Everyone pairs off and fights in and out of the ring. Mike flying kicks Mox in the jaw outside. Mark jumps off a chair and flip dives outside.

We go to PiP break and return. Mox elbow drops Mark for 2. Gabe hits punches on Mark. Mike bangs Mox's head off the buckles then top rope dropkicks him. Mike hits kicks on Mox and running ssp's him.

Mike cradles him then hits a big kick. The girls get in. Shafir hits kicks on Willow. Willow hits lariat then front kicks her. Willow spinebusters her for 2. Gabe then breaks it up. Mark uppercuts Gabe then lariats him over the top.

Mike hits kicks on Mox. Marina germans Mike. Willow lariats Shafir. Mike superkicks Mox. Yuta pushes Mike off the top to the floor. Gabe sends Mike into the rails then throws him through a table. We go to another PiP break, full break and return. Mike is dropped gut first on the top rope and kicked for 2. Mike and Mox trade. Mike hits kicks on Gabe then is flipped with a lariat. Kris Statlander is watching in the back. Mike standing moonsault double knees Gabe.

Mark back enzugiri's Mox. Mark hits forearms on Gabe. Gabe bites him. Gabe hits headbutts. Mark exploders him. Mark dropkicks Gabe through the ropes then cannonballs Mox off the apron. Mike triangle moonsaults outside.

Mark goes up top. Shafir and Yuta bug him. Mark then hits a top rope froggy bow on Gabe for 2. Claudio gets in the ring and backs off. Komander then comes in out of nowhere, rope walks and corkscrew dives on Claudio. Mark takes a paradigm shift ddt and is choked out with a bulldog choke. Mox's team wins.

Thoughts: It had the usual intergender issues with the men not getting the easy win off the girls. I have no idea why Yuta wasn't ejected. I guess it was alright but it ran long for the first match.

The Hurt Syndicate talk from Double or nothing. MVP says it was their 6th defense of the tag titles and the debut of MJF with them. MJF says the belts will go nowhere and he will make sure of it. MJF says they will all have gold and says he will soon have the title around his waist. He says if you get in the way of their goals, you will wake up in your own p!ss and blood. He says it's not personal, just business.

Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford talk. Ford says they had to cheat to beat them and it's a no DQ match like they always wanted. Bayne says Anna and Harley are her next sacrifice.

Ricochet does a promo. He said he will continue his quest for gold. He says he needs a group and loyal subjects who will help him. He says when he finds the perfect crew, he will show everyone why he's out of this world.

No DQ - Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford vs Anna Jay and Harley Cameron

Jay and HC run to the ring. Meg gets the advantage on HC and hits corner spears. Ford chops Jay and sends her into the rails. Meg misses a corner cannonball and goes into a chair. Jay hits Meg with a board. HC then hits Meg with a pipe. Meg takes weapons shots from both. Meg hits a double flying clothesline.

Meg is tripped into a chair then the chair is basement dropkicked into her face. Ford takes a boot + russian legsweep combo for 2. A table is set up outside and we go to PiP break. We return. Meg and HC fight on the apron. Jay chairs both opponents and Meg is sent off the apron through a table. Ford codebreakers Jay then misses a standing moonsault on the chair. Meg drops HC face first on the steps. The ref calls for the doc and HC's nose and mouth are all bloody.

Anna gori bombs Ford on a chair for 2. Meg F-5's Jay on a chair. Meg flying lariats HC for 2. HC takes a very weak looking doomsday device and is pinned.

Thoughts: I'm not sure how HC got all bloodied here. She didn't hit the steps that hard. Anna also got injured here. It was your usual hardcore match and I feel like it got cut short due to injuries. It's really hard to put this over with 2 people getting hurt.

Mercedes Mone arrives in a low rider convertible and she's holding up her title in the backseat.

The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata) vs The Frat House (Preston Vance, Griff Garrison and Cole Karter)

The Frat's have some people holding a flag and we see them getting drunk in a bar. Jacked Jamson says they were at a bar last night and said they threw a pledge party as they are looking for their next party. Jacked calls the local girls fat and the local men weak and skinny. He says they will walk out trios champs. Vance says win or lose, they boo.

Joe hits punches on Vance. KS sends Cole into the rails. Joe legsweeps Vance and sentons him. KS and Griff go at it. They trade chops and forearms. KS drops him with one then hits a corner dropkick. KS suplexes him for 2. Cole and Hobbs fight. Hobbs hits corner lariats then short arm clotheslines him. Jacked Jameson hits Hobbs with a paddle then Hobbs lariats Jacked over the top. Hobbs then spinebusters some of The Frat's pledges. Hobbs spinebusters Vance and Cole. Hobbs then wins.

Thoughts: It was a random squash that filled time and didn't do a lot else. Hook wasn't here and we don't know why.

Renee interviews Jamie Hayter in the ring. The lights go out. Thekla of Stardom then debuts and forearms over Jamie. She gets no reaction as expected and poses.

We get a video on Mistico.

AEW TNT Title - Adam Cole (c) vs Kyle Fletcher

Kyle backs him up in the corner then does Cole's pose. Kyle waistlock takedowns him. Kyle shoulders him over. Kyle elbows Cole's neck then Cole enzugiri's him.

Cole boots Kyle in the corner. Cole superkicks Kyle off the apron. Trent and Rocky come out to help out Kyle. Strong and O'Reilly then fight them to the back. Kyle hits a nasty powerbomb on the edge of the apron and the back of Cole's head hits in a bad moment.

Kyle slams Cole in the ring. Cole hits forearms then gets slammed again. Cole superkicks Kyle. Cole hits forearms then lariats him. Cole pump kicks him. Cole pump kicks and ushigoroshi's him for 2. Kyle blocks a panama sunrise.

Kyle suplexes him then corner facekicks him. Cole hits oblivion on him then a panama sunrise. Josh Alexander then knocks Cole over for the DQ.

Thoughts: It had a bad finish and Cole nearly died on the apron powerbomb spot, so this wasn't that great.

Cole geats beaten up 2v1 after. Brody King comes out with a chair.

AEW International Title Qualifier - Josh Alexander vs Brody King

This starts as we come back from break. King hits chops and Josh 2nd rope dropkicks him. King back body drops him. King chops the post outside when Josh moves. King is pushed into the post.

Josh is sent into the rails then uranaged on the top of the rail. Josh facekicks him inside. King shoulders him over and out. King goes for a dive and is forearmed. Josh ddt's him on the apron over the 2nd rope. Josh crossbodies King's back on the apron.

King's arm is banged off the post. King and Josh trade chops. King is sent into the steps. We go to PiP break and return.

Josh armlocks King. King chops him then germans Josh. King lariats Josh. King hits a big lariat. King's arm is pulled down over the top rope. Josh armbreakers King on his shoulder then germans him on the apron.

Josh runs into a boot outside. King crossbodies him against the rail. King misses a corner cannonball. Josh ankle locks him. Josh back body drops him. Josh germans him for 2. Josh moonsaults and King gets his knees up. King lariats him then hits an over the shoulder piledriver to win. Josh then gets busted open big.

Thoughts: This was our 4th medical issue of the night here with Josh getting busted open hardway. I thought Brody got thrown around too much here when he's so much bigger than Josh. His size needs to be respected more.

Kyle Fletcher talks in the back. Adam Cole runs up to him and hits him then security breaks it up.

Mercedes Mone comes out to talk. Mone says she's the greatest champ and the greatest winenr of the Owen Hart Cup. She says other legends don't compare to her.

Toni Storm comes out. Mone says fans are sick of the black and white and want a champ full of color. Toni said she's been waiting for her. She says Mone won titles, made history and remained undefeated since she came. She says Mone has never spoken to her or looked at her. Toni calls Tony Khan "Anthony Khan" and asks what took her so long.

Mone says it's patience. She says it's not about Toni, it's about her and her legacy. Mone says she is the revolution. Toni says she's the Toni Storm of wrestling and says Mone has never met anyone like her. Mone says Toni is different now since they first met and so is she. She says she's bringing it home at All In and says they will have the greatest women's match of all time.

Toni said they became who they are meant to be in AEW. Toni says she only needs one title while Mone wants all the titles. Toni said she has lived and died for the titles. Toni makes dirty jokes and says a girl in the audience at All In will say these b!tches are crazy and will find out who the best woman is. Toni says Mone is the greatest woman of all time but she is timeless. Mone says her time is coming to an end and they say they will see each other at all In. They shake hands, Toni sniffs her and kisses her hand . Mone goes for the money maker and Toni goes for storm zero. Mone then rolls out.

Overall thoughts: The opening segment was fine. The intergender match had some of the usual issues with intergender wrestling but the trios match hid some of it and I guess it was alright. The women's no DQ match was a disaster with 2 people getting injured. Cole/Kyle had a bad finish and Cole nearly got very messed up on the apron powerbomb spot. I didn't think they protected Brody enough in the main as Josh threw him all around with ease but the work was okay otherwise. Josh also got busted open bad near the end. The closing segment with Mone and Toni was what you would expect and they tried to make it a big deal. It wasn't bad. Thekla also debuted. 3 people got hurt here and Cole nearly did as well, so I can't really give this one a great rating. I do think they put in a better effort than usual and the show was definitely headed in the right direction. I'd give this one a 6 out of 10 overall.
