This was supposed to be done in Tampa but was moved to the Performance Center.

We see wrestlers arrive and Jasmyn Nyx finally is with Fatal Influence after being away for weeks.

WWE NXT North American Title - Ricky Saints (c) vs Ethan Page

Page RS during the big match intro and security breaks it up. RS side takeovers Page twice then side headlocks him. Page then side headlock takeovers him.  Page hits shots on RS' gut. RS takes a back body drop.

They go out and RS is sent into the steps. Security breaks things up and Ava gets involved. Ava says we need a winner then RS and Page fight. RS jump on him off the steps and kicks him.

We go to PiP break and return. They are fighting near the crowd and security tries to stop them. Page hits a guard then RS spears Page on the commentary table. They keep fighting. Page cutters him on an open chair and RS holds his throat after. Page hits a razor's edge in the ring for 2.

Page hits mounted punches. RS hits shots and is hit in the throat. They trade shots. Pager superkicks him and RS hits a spinning ddt. RS overhead belly to belly suplexes him then reverse ddt's him for 2. Page lariats him for 2.

RS forearms him. RS' throat is pulled down over the top rope. Page hits a cutter and wins.

Thoughts: It was a different style match here. Security was involved for the first half of this and they tried to make it look like an out of control fight. The second half had a lot of work on the throat which was nice. I thought this was good and it definitely beat my expectations. I don't understand having Saints lose so early though into this reign. 

Fatal Influence is interviewed. Jacy said they would get a title match and said they didn't say how. They argue over who should get the title shot. We get a video on Mike Santana.

Briggs and Inamura talk. Briggs says he thought Inamura went to Japan. Inamura said he did and came back for him. Briggs gives him the vest back. Inamura says he couldn't leave him and says they have things to accomplish. He says becoming the NXT Tag Titles and more. Inamura says they should think even bigger and Briggs says, "hell yeah".

Mike Santana vs Tavion Heights

They lock up. Tav waistlock takedowns him. Tav wristlocks him. Mike headflips out and side headlocks him. They shoulder battle. Mike dropkicks him. Mike flips over him and slips then springboard twisting crossbodies him.

Tav throws him then is pulled over the top. Mike tope con hilos him. We go to PiP break and return. Tav flying lariats him out of the corner. Tav lariats him on the ropes. Tav gutwrench suplexes him for 2.

Tav chinlocks him. Mike chops him. Mike enzugiri's him then Tav goes up and over. Mike backrolls into acutter on him. Tav overhead belly to bellies him then headbusters him.

Tav death valley drivers him for 2. Mike hits a big superkick. Tav jumps up and is caught then Mike hits doi fives. Mike hits a big lariat and wins.

Thoughts: I liked it. It was nice to see Tav get a long in-ring match for once. Him and Mike did better together than expected. 

Wes Lee's group is now called The High Ryze. We get a video on them. Wes says you can only trust in yourself until something real comes along. Wes calls Dupont and Igwe brilliant minds and brute force. They say they aren't chasing game, they are building it. Wes says you shatter the glass ceiling by buying it. They say they didn't fit their mold, so they made their own together.

Chase U talks. Chase tells Kale and Connors they need to stop jumping into things without a plan. He says they need to know when to take risks. Kale and Connors think he said they need to take risks. They go up to Ava and ask for a match next week. Ava says they will face Darkstate next week. Uriah says there's four of them and Ava says it can be a 3v3. Kale says atleast they get to team up and Chase says they aren't a team.

Luca Crusifino and Tony D talk in the back. Tony said he thought Stacks clipped Luca. He says Luca came out at Battleground and stared at him. Luca says Stacks drove him to the desert and let him out. He says he didn't know what to do. He says he didn't reach out to him as he would put everyone at risk. Tony says this doesn't smell right. Luca says he had to come back. Tony said he came back and cost him the match. Tony says he doesn't know who to trust and Luca says he can trust him.

Trick Williams comes out to talk with the TNA. He says "Hollywood Trick has finally arrived". He says for the first time ever, a WWE star is holding the TNA gold. He says he's adding it to his resume. He says not to cross him as he is the line. He says he will go to TNA and says none of the TNA champs can compare to him. Trick says the people turned his back on him and he's turning him back on them. He says he's going back to TNA and will make some changes. Trick says TNA will now be called "Trick-N-A".

Mike Santana comes out. He says he wants to give him props and Trick said he made a mistake by interrupting his champ. Mike says Trick is not his champ. Mike said he made a terrible first impression as TNA's champ and trying to talk down TNA. Mike says TNa has been gaining momentum and the last thing he will do is watch him tear TNA down. He says that's not happening.

Trick says Mike doesn't know how things work when you are champ. Trick says when Mike is champ, only then can he call the shots. Mike says people like Trick p!ss him off.  

Mike says he has seen people like him come and go and says he's a pretender. He says he's a pretend fighter and rapper. He says he's the realest he has ever come across. He says he will be the one who takes the TNA World Title from him. Trick says he will beat him if he keeps popping off.

Santino Marella appears on the tron and tells them to cool down. He says Trick will be a fighting champ and will defend the title vs Mike Santana next week.

Mike offers a handshake. Trick tries to hit him then is thrown out. Mike then holds up the TNA Title.

Thoughts: I'm surprised by how quick they got away from the Joe/Trick feud. Mike ain't gonna win that match. 

Stephanie Vaquer talks to Ava in the back. Ava says it'll be Dalys and Chik Tormenta vs Vaquer and a partner of her choosing. SV says she will find one but needs to defend her title first. Lola Vice offers to be her partner.

Jaida Parker vs Tatum Paxley

TP comes out with dolls and is crying.

They lock up. JP backs her up in the corner then TP does the same to her. JP shoulders her over. TP rolls her up for 2. TP double underhook suplexes her. JP's head is banged off the buckles. JP backcrackers her.

JP hits corner spears. JP puts her on the 2nd rope and step up buttdrops her. JP elbow drops TP's back for 2 then pulls her arms back. TP bangs JP's head off her knee. TP hits forearms and step up enzugiri's her. TP hits a corner crossbody.

TP flipping legdrops her over the back of the neck and dropkicks her out. JP grabs TP's dolls and throws one in the ring. TP cries over the doll then takes a running hip attack and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one and it was okay for what it was. The finish makes me think we haven't seen the end of this.

Thea Hail comes in and jumps JP. JP then runs. 

We get a Jasper Troy video.

Jasper Troy vs Dante Chen

We haven't seen much of Chen since Level Up ended. I don't like his chances here.

Troy backs him up in the corner. Chen side headlocks him. Troy puts him on the apron. Chen bangs Troy's head off the buckles. Troy back body drops him. Troy lariats him over the top.

Troy drops Chen face first on the apron. Chen is dropped throat first on the ropes. Troy hits a corner splash then a backbreaker. Chen upkicks Troy. Chen lariats Troy then flying forearms him. Chen step up enzugiri's him. Chen tornado ddt's him. Chen pump kicks Troy.

Chen hits a double chop then is bodyblocked. Troy black hole slams him and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like this. Troy won as expected but he needed to run over Chen and look tough doing it. Chen got most of the offense in here instead.

Oba Femi's music hits. Oba appears on the riser. He says he's impressed and says he is showing him the respect Troy didn't show him. He says he won't attack him from behind. He says he hopes he enjoyed his 5 seconds of fame as they are now over.

NQCC talk in the back. Dempsey said Tav and Borne looked strong recently but both failed as singles wrestlers. He says they need to focus as a group and make themselves strong. Borne says he's not going backwards and won't retreat back to his shell. Dempsey says he's not ready on his own and Borne says he is. Borne says if he beats him, will he say he's ready? Borne says if he wins, Dempsey lets him go. Dempsey says let's make it a rounds match. They then shake on it. 

Ethan Page is back in the ring and is dressed up. He says he's the greatest North American to hold the title and says we are celebrating tonight.

Je'Von Evans interrupts. Evans congratulates him and says he can't think of anyone more undeserving than him to win. Evans says Page will be defending his title at Worlds Collide against him. Page disagrees with this. Evans says it's not just about NXT. He then brings out Laredo Kid, who is called Laredo Kid here but Laredo only on TNA.

Laredo comes through the crowd. He says thank you. Kid introduces himself and says he's coming for the N-A Title in a triple threat. Page gets mad and says he won't let them ruin his night. Evans then says he's going against one more person. Rey Fenix then comes out through the crowd. He says it feels good to be in NXT. Fenix says Page just won the title but will lose it. Fenix then says it'll be a four-way match for the N-A Title at Worlds Collide. He says he will bring the fire and burn him up.

Robert Stone, Ava and Stevie Turner talk. Stevie says Sean Legacy should be in the 4-way. Ava said she wanted talent from SD, NXT and AAA. She said she didn't forget about Sean. She says Sean will get an N-A Title shot with the winner of that 4-way. Stevie says they will make history on Tubi when the first Evolve Women's champ is crowned tomorrow.

Tatum Paxley is upset in the back. Zaria and Sol say they hate to see her like this. Zaria says they might be more alike than she thinks. They say they know what she's going through and they are here for her if she needs it. The Culling then appear behind Tatum.

WWE NXT Women's Title - Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Jacy Jayne

Jacy stomps on SV as she runs into the ring. SV slaps her and spin kicks her. SV headscissors her into a roll-up. SV spin kicks her then armdrags her. They sweep each other. SV hits forearms.

SV tries to headscissor Jacy but is kicked in the gut. Jacy sentons her for 2. Jacy superkicks her for 2. Jacy suplexes her for 2. Jacy's head is banged off the buckles then SV rakes her face with her foot. Dlays and Chik Tormenta get on the apron. Lola Vice knocks them off and they all fight.

Jacy rolls up SV then SV superkicks her. SV 619's her. SV springboard crossbodies her. We go to break and return. Jacy back elbows her in the corner and SV sunset flips her. Jacy PK's her. JC hits mounted punches. JC superkicks her for 2.

Jacy knees her in the gut. Jacy slingblades her. SV tilt-a-whirl backbreakers her twice. They facebuster each other at the same time. SV soul foot's her then does facewash kicks. SV corner meteora's her. Jacy knees her in the face for 2. Jacy misses a corner cannonball.

SV dragon screws her off the buckles. Jacy is dropped face first on the buckles. Jacy is sent into the steps. SV double underhook codebreakers her. Fallon distracts SV and Jacy is sent into her. Jacy is superkicked out.

Jacy and Fallon argue then push Nyx over. SV top rope plancha's Jacy and Fallon outside. SV backdrops Jacy then she bangs Jacy's head off the mat with the headscissors. SV hanging triangles Jacy and Fallon wraparound kicks SV. Jacy spinning forearms SV and wins.

The crowd all has their mouths open and has thier hands on their head in shock. Jacy then is shocked as well as she holds the title.

Thoughts: I'm happy Jacy finally won the title. She's been here for years, she's done all the dirty work and if anyone earned it, it was her. I'm not sure of the timing as you would think Steph would be champ going into Worlds Collide. Maybe they will change. The match was the usual Steph match. It was fine and all but nothing too memorable. The reactions to win were something else though and nothing I've ever seen.

Overall thoughts: It was a good show with lots of visitors and things happening inside the ring and out. The opener was good. Tav and Mike beat my expectations and had a good one. Jaida/Tatum was about average. Troy's debut should have been better. The main was just okay and had a surprising ending with everyone going silent. I'll give this one a 7 out of 10 and thought it was a good show all around with a lot to offer. You gotta see the ending, though it's not as much fun as if you are seeing it live.
