AEW Dynamite 6/4/2025 Fyter Fest

This is a 4 hour broadcast as they will have Dynamite from 8PM-10PM and Collision from 10pm-12am.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Toni Storm tells Mercedes Mone if she wants her, she has her.

Tony Schiavone interviews Will Ospreay in the ring about his fight last week with Swerve. He says it wasn't the best idea to get Swerve and Page to work together. he says they aren't the enemy, Jon Moxley is. He says if they can put their differences aside for one night...

He says AEW sucks right now because Mox is the champ. Will says he will play a role in making sure the title gets off of Mox.  

He says he loves Swerve and would take a bullet for him, but he'd take a bullet for AEW first. He says he's calling Swerve out for a fight next week. Music hits and Will asks, "Who's this?". The Cru then come out for some reason.

Action Andretti talks but doesn't say much. Lio says Will is doing a lot of talking and they got off a 14 hour flight from Japan (they were in GLEAT). Lio says he has a point to prove and says the worst thing about AEW is Will's dumb@ss. Will challenges Lio for Collision.

Thoughts: This was all over the place and not good. 

Mark Briscoe does a promo from his ring at home. He says Mox caught him with a choke and said his son asked if he quit. Mark said he didn't quit but said his kids are doubting him. He says he wants Mox 1v1.

Jon Moxley vs Mark Briscoe

They lock up and break. Mox then stalls outside. Mark hits Mox on the apron and hits punches outside. Mark hits chops and Mox forearms him back. Mark gets on his back with a sleeper. Mark hits chops and headbutts. Mox facekicks him.

Mox pulls on Mark's mouth and crossfaces him. Mox chokes him on the ropes with his foot. Mox hits a corner lariat. Mox is pulled out and Mark dropkicks him through the ropes. Mark misses an apron cannonball and crashes on the floor. Yuta sends Mark into the post.

Mark is busted open. Mox rakes the cut and punches it. We go to PiP break and return. Mox bites the cut then Mark is back body dropped. Mark hits chops and forearms. Mark back enzugiri's Mox. Mark tope con hilos Mox through the ropes. Mark then sliding lariats him inside for 2.

They trade forearms. Mark hits chops then flying forearms him. Mox hits a short arm clothesline. Mark then lariats him. Mark comes off the top and Mox catches him with a grounded choke. Mox armbars him and Mark ropebreaks.

Yuta drives Mark's shoulder into the steps. Mark rolling death valley drivers Mox. Mark hits a jay driller for 2. Mox hits a curbstomp. Mox does a sleeper but Mark backrolls using the buckles. Mox then gets his back with a sleeper on the mat and puts him to sleep to win.

Thoughts: I would have liked the jay driller to be the finish here as it's a lethal looking move. It got a little repetitive at times as they kept doing forearms and chops. It was mostly all striking otherwise here and Mark lost as expected. It was okay overall but could have been better.

Mercedes Mone is at ringside eating a steak and drinking wine.

Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa vs Julia Hart and Skye Blue

Mina hits forearms on Skye. Mina russian legsweeps her. Mina rolls over Toni's back and splashes Skye. Toni backbreakers Skye. Mina stomps on Skye. Skye cartwheel forearms Mina in the corner then Hart running back elbows Mina. Hart goes for the tarantula on Mina on the ropes.

Skye pulls Toni off the apron then sends her into the rail. Mina takes an assisted uranage and lands hard. We go to PiP break and return.
Mina hits forearms on Hart. Hart rope walks and clubs Mina. Mina takes a PK and a sliding lariat for 2. Toni backdrops Skye. Hart STO's Toni. Hart pulls Mina down backwards. Mina top rope diving sling blades Hart.

Toni comes in and dropkicks Skye then thesz presses her with punches. Mina urakens Hart. Mina and toni try to kiss for some reason then hit stereo germans. Mina and Toni hit stereo corner hip attacks. Toni then taps out Skye with a chicken wing.

Thoughts: That's Skye's 3rd loss since returning. I don't know who she upset, but they are making her pay. It was an average match and wasn't that great. I didn't like Mina and Toni trying to kiss while the match was going on. I don't think Mone ate any of the steak either.

Toni grabs Mone's steak and eats it. 

Will Ospreay is interviewed. MJF interrupts. He says he's here to help Will. He says to stay out of Swerve's and Page's business and says Will can't beat Page. MJF says they animals and says to let the animals eat each other. Will says MJF doesn't want Page to win the title as he can't beat him. MJF asks how his son is doing. Will grabs MJF. The Hurt Business surround Will. MVP says good luck and says they have business elsewhere tonight. Bobby then stares at Will and fixes his shirt.

The Hurt Syndicate come out to talk. MVP says Bobby Lashley used to live here but lives in Texas now. He asks Bobby his opinion of Denver now and Bobby gives it a thumbs down. MVP says no dream team could take the titles from his crew. MVP asks why everyone is so terrified of them.

MJF says he wants his title back. He says he will have to start wrestling more. MJF says Mistico is Mexico's top guy. He says the think Mist is the best wrestler in the world but it's not true because he is the best. He says the best wrestler isn't from Mexico, he's from the US. MJF says he's a mega star and says Mistico is a big fish in a small, stinky pond. MJF says he will watch Mistico's match next week and maybe let him wrestle him at Grand Slam Mexico. MJF says it's not personal with The Syndicate, it's just business.

Mike Bailey, Komander and Kevin Knight come out. Kom talks but I'm not sure what he said then he talks in Spanish. Mike says they wanted the best and here is a group of international killer. The heels laugh. Kevin says they can get it poppin' here tonight. MVP asks if they want a match and says no as they haven't earned it. MVP says if they want a opportunity, impress them by earning it. 

LIJ (Rush Dralistico and Mortos) vs Komander, Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight

Everyone hits a move to start. Kom is sent into the rails and Rush tries to throw a drink at KK. Mike chops Mort and Kom is sent into the post. Rush headbutts Mike over. KK's head is banged off the commentary table. KK springbaord armdrags Rush in the ring. Kom is launched into a corner dropkick on Rush for 2.

Rush basement dropkicks an opponent then Rush forearms Mike over. Mike takes corner attacks and a triple basement dropkick. Mike is triple gorilla pressed and thrown onto his partners outside. We go to PiP break and return.

Kom springboards, jumps off of Mort's back and hits a ddt on Dral. Kom satellites on Mort and poisonrana's him. Dral springboard canadian destroyers Kom. KK nd Rush trade chops. Rush spinning forearms him. Rush stomps on KK in the corner then boots him in the face.

KK tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Rush for 2. The faces are stomped on. The faces all hit dropkicks then do triple tope con hilos outside. Kom rope walks into a code red on Mort. Kom takes a pop-up samoan drop. Dral then does a springboard crucifix driver on Kom.

Mort is rolled up by Mike for 2. Kom pulls Dral over the top. Mike standing moonsault double knees Mort. KK dropkicks Rush. Mike superkicks Mort then pops up KK into a lariat on Mort. Mike spinning high kicks Mort. Kom rope walk corkscrew dives outside. KK top rope 18 frogsplashes Mort and wins.

Thoughts: It was all flying and action here without a lot of selling. It got a little more time than it needed to where they did more and more. I don't like LFI losing here since they are a regular team who is always struggling to gain footing.

The Hurt Syndicate come out. MVP says they got their @sses kicked for 8-10 minutes but pulled it off. MVP says the faces won the prize and get to face The Hurt's next week in a trios match. MVP says they get a preview of that whooping right now. KK and Mike hit superkick and dropkicks. MJF gets in and takes a springboard dropkick. The faces then hit triple plancha's on them outside.  

The Paragon and Daniel Garcia are interviewed. Cole says they can't stand The Don Callis Family and want to do a 4v4 against them. Garcia agrees.

The Patriarchy are interviewed. Christian insults the crowd. He said Nick Wayne had a good showing in BOSJ but didn't win. He said he wrestled 14 times in 22 days. He says they will keep his momentum going as he defends his title tonight. He says it will be in a 4-way. He says Kip Sabian is working on a bigger surprise.

Max Caster is in the ring. He asks the ref to acknowledge him as the best wrestler alive. He tries to get the crowd to chant his chant and they do. He then wants to do his challenge.

Max Caster vs Powerhouse Hobbs

Hobbs is in regular clothes. Hobbs shoulders him over and we have a 5 minute clock up. Hobbs hits a corner splash and lariats in the corner. Max eye pokes him then is caught off the buckles. Hobbs hits a muso and pins him.

Thoughts: It was all squash as usual. It's been months and I still don't know where this is going or what it's accomplishing except making Max look like a doofus.  

AEW International Title 4-Way - Brody King vs Kenny Omega vs Mascara Dorada vs Claudio Castagnoli

MD = Mascara Dorada, CC = Claudio Castagnoli

CC pounds on Kenny then is pounded on by King. CC takes corner attacks. King is double teamed. MD and Kenny stand off in the ring and shake hands. CC then nails both. King lariats CC over the top and goes with him. Kenny plancha's outside then MD tornillo plancha's King outside. King sends MD over the rail.

CC running facekicks King then trades forearms with him outside. MD is caught off the rails by King and thrown into CC on a chair against the rails. King then crossbodies both. Kenny dragon suplexes King on the floor.

Kenny tope con hilos outside. We go to PiP break and return. CC chinlocks Kenny. Kenny hits punches. CC knees him in the gut. Kenny finlay rolls him then CC gets his knees up on Kenny's asai moonsault. CC hits corner spears on Kenny. Kenny dragon suplexes CC and MD. King is busted open and hits shots on Kenny. King death valley drivers MD into Kenny in the corner. CC pop-up euros King.

Kenny spinning heel kicks CC in the back. Kenny meteora's CC's neck in the corner. King takes an electric chair euro for 2. CC 2nd rope gordbusters King. MD jumps up to the top and 2nd rope hurricanrana's CC onto King for 2. Kenny pumping knees CC. MD poisonrana's Kenny. King lariats Md then CC spinning lariats King. King lariats CC for 2.

King forearms CC then MD is popped up into a hurricanrana on King. CC giant swings King. CC neutralizer's King for 2. MD corkscrew headscissors CC. MD springboard hurricanrana's CC for 2. MD makes CC do a jerry bump over the top. MD 2nd rope SSP's CC outside. MD then does a dive outside onto King. Kenny hits a one-winged angel on MD and wins.

Thoughts: It was what you would expect with a lot of cool spots, fast action and lots of flying. I liked it and this was pretty much what it looked like on paper. Kenny won which was no surprise. It was an okay main. 

Overall thoughts: Mox vs Briscoe was okay. The women's tag was average. Some things were okay about the trios match but it was a moves based match. Caster/Hobbs didn't do much for either guy and the main was okay. It was a pretty average show all around and I'd give it a 5 out of 10 total. There was nothing you really needed to see here.
