Explosive Pro Wrestling Go Time 4/6/2025 Collision Course 2025

EPW Invitational Tournament 2025 Block A Match -Ryan Rivers vs. Solomun Blackwell

They lock up and go into the corners. SB wristlocks him and RR reverses it. SB armdrags him but RR hangs on. SB side headlocks him then RR shoulders him over. SB upkicks him then RR blocks the side headlock takeover. RR side headlock takeovers him. RR then does the headscissors. They then stand off.

SB front facelocks him and they roll out of the ring to the floor. They stand off outside. SB hits a slap and chop combo inside. SB flying clotheslines him. RR superkicks him in the gut, euros him and double chops him. SB then rolls him up for 2. RR exploders him.

RR misses a corner charge then RR cradles him for 2. RR hits a big forearm and SB backslides him for 2. SB straightjacket neckbreakers him. They both try pin attempts and SB pins him.

Thoughts: It was short but it was a good match. They both looked like they were going for the win here and they kept it fast yet pretty simple. This was mostly all technical wrestling some strikes. I really liked this was pleasantly surprised by it.

Bruno Nitro & Davis Storm vs. DNT (Chris Target & Michael Morleone)

Bruno is in the yellow, Storm is in the black/grey/orange. Mike has the hair and Chris has the beard.

They compete for cheers and Davis/Bruno get hit on the ropes. Bruno and Davis do stereo atomic drops and DNT goes out. Mike hits Nitro from behind. Nitro is tripped by Chris outside and pulled out. Storm flying knees Chris off the apron. Nitro slingblades Mike for 2.

Davis chops Mike and Mike eye rakes him. Chris takes a big hiptoss then a slam. Nitro is knee'd from the apron. Chris slams Nitro then Mike and Chris miss elbow drops. Davis 2nd rope double dropkicks DNT for 2.

Nitro grabs something and DNT's valet Stella Nyx takes it. Mike hits a big lariat on Nitro for 2. DNT are sent into each other. Nitro dropkicks Mike out. Nitro goes for the dive but the ref gets in the way for some reason. Nitro then tope con hilos over the ref onto DNT. 

Nitro is distracted by Nyx and is pushed into the post. Chris stomp flurries Nitro and poses on him. Nitro is catapulted into a kick in the corner then Chris top rope elbow drops Nitro while he's on Chris' knees. Nitro is choked by Chris and Nyx on the ropes. Nitro is popped up into a spinebuster in a cool spot.

Chris has Nitro's bandana on and pushes his head into the mat. Chris elbow drops Nitro. Nitro is caught on a springboard double crossbody. Nitro hits shots on both opponents. Nitro gets out of a double suplex then hits a double pendulum ddt.

Nitro goes for the tag but Nyx pulls Davis down from the apron from under the ring. Chris is pulled over the top. Nitro goes to springboard, gets caught and hits a sliced bread. 

Storm comes in and beats up DNT. Storm euros one into the other. Storm then hits a top rope double stomp on Chris' back for 2. Storm springboards into Chris' superkick. Mike drops Nitro with a shot. Nitro jumps off of Chris' back to hurricanrana Mike. Nitro exploders Chris.

Nyx gets in the ring to block Nitro from doing a move. The ref addresses Nyx then Chris low blows Nitro for 2. Nitro rolls and enzugiri's Chris. Storm hits a very clean springboard enzugiri on Chris for 2.

Nyx distracts Storm. Chris hits Storm from behind. Chris is thrown into Nyx then Storm pumping knees Chris for the win.

Thoughts: I liked it. I thought the heels could have maybe some of the basic heel tag stuff better and a few minutes could have been shaved off, but it was good otherwise. The faces were faces and Nyx's interference made you hate her.  

Storm gets on the mic after. They make a challenge to another team next time. Storm says he will write the end to the story and not someone else. He says he will hold the tag belt above his head one more time. 

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 matches here but both were good. The opener was a good technical wrestling match and the main event was a longer standard tag with both teams doing okay at their heel and face roles. The show was only 26 minutes so it won't take you long to see it and it was a good show. I'd recommend this one.
