AEW Women's Title Eliminator - Toni Storm vs Lady Frost

Toni wristlocks her. Lady flips out using the ropes. Toni shoulders her over. Lady kips up. Lady backflips into a spinning headscissors. Lady cannonballs her off the apron. Lady then cartwheels on the rail and moonsaults onto Toni. 

Toni thesz presses her inside and hits punches. Toni backbreakers her. Toni fishermen suplexes her for 2. Lady forward cartwheel cannonballs her. Lady top rope tornillos her for 2. Toni sky highs her down from the buckles. Lady cartwheels on her and hits an air raid crash for 2.

Tomi germns her. Toni hits a corner hip attack. Toni chickenwings her and submits her.

Thoughts: The finish was a bit random with Toni doing no real arm work yet winning by submission. The match was fine otherwise with Lady doing some stuff she doesn't usually do and looking good.

Toni talks on the mic after. She says she's coming for everybody and says she's not a hard woman to find. Toni goofs around and goes on the balcony with a mic. She says she will always be timeless.

We get a video from Mox and Shafir. Mox says Shibata's fate was already sealed and said there's nothing Joe could do about it. He says Joe shouldn't feel bad that his friends are dropping like flies. He says there's a notion that he should be scared to fight Joe in the cage. He says Joe better make sure he thought things through.

$100,000 High Speed Collision 4-Way - Sammy Guevara vs AR Fox vs Rush vs Kevin Knight

This is Sammy's first AEW TV appearance in a long time. It's unknown why this is worth $100k.

Sammy and AR get knocked out of the ring to start. Rush and KK trade chops. Rush headbutts him. KK slams him. They trade armdrags and try to dropkick each other at the same time. KK and Rush get knocked out of the ring together.

AR and Sammy go at it. Sammy flips over him then corkscrew dropkicks him. AR hits a weird fisherman style suplex on him. KK hits a top rope diving lariat on Sammy. We go to PiP break and return. Rush is sent into the steps. KK is ddt'd on the apron by AR. We see Hologram watching from the corner of the arena. AR does an inverted springboard flip dive on KK. Sammy does a top rope ssp onto the outside then Rush forearms him over. AR is sent into the rails. KK jumps off the steps and dropkicks Rush.

Rush belly to belly overhead suplexes KK on the ramp. KK and Rush fight to the back and both fall near the curtain after running into something. AR kips down out of a lariat and enzugiri's Sammy. AR does a seated top rope spanish fly on Sammy then top rope 450's him for 2. AR tries a top rope swanton but Sammy gets his knees up.

AR rolls up Sammy for 2. Sammy flying knees him. Sammy flips him out of the torture rack and knees him in the face to win.

Thoughts: It was a spotfest as expected with some flips and big spots. They didn't overdo it though so it was fine. Knight and Rush costing themselves $100k by fighting to the back was completely stupid.

Sammy points at Cole after.

Samoa Joe does a video. He says he's not at Collision and is preparing for what he will do to Mox. He says he will help him understand what happens when you call him out. He says he understands Mox is ruthless and has the will to come after him. He says the Mox he sees today doesn't have the heart or balls to get in front of him. He says he will break him and will be the next AEW champ. He says he will make him understand.

Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly say they want FTR 2/3 Falls. FTR and Stokeley respond. Stoke says they are the masters of 2/3 falls. Strong says his team is one of the best on the planet. Stoke says FTR has beaten them 3 times and says they won't wrestle them again after they win. 

Megan Bayne vs Harley Cameron

HC corner splashes MB and hits corner spears. HC axe kicks her. HC step up enzugiri's her. MB catches her and hits an overhead suplex. MB hits knees to the gut. Penelope Ford then chokes HC.

MB corner splashes HC then double underhook suplexes her. MB flying lariats HC. We go to PiP break and return. HC hits upkicks then MB drags her by the hair. HC bites MB on the buckles.

HC spins into a ddt on MB for 2. MB falcon arrows her for 2. HC hits forearms on MB. MB sitout powerbombs her for 2. HC gets a 2 count on her. HC is caught coming off the buckles then HC F-5's her for the win.

Thoughts: It was one of Harley's better efforts. She seemed to get her role as a face here and the two worked well together. I was fine with this.   

HC takes another F-5 after. Anna Jay comes out and hits Bayne with a wooden plank. MB just looks at her then blocks a 2nd shot. Jay pulls her over the top and Ford pulls Bayne back for some reason.

Mox and Shafir come out. Shafir takes out a security guard. They get into the ring. Mox said he heard what Joe said but doesn't understand. He asks if Joe will kick his @ss in the cage or beat him up? Mox says people he fought thought the same thing Joe thought until they didn't. He said people learned they weren't in a chess match but a war. Mox says if Joe thinks he doesn't want a firefight to think again, as he has been in a firefight this whole time. 

The Outrunners are interviewed and we get some old school tints on the camera. They say they should get physicial with Trent and Rocky. They say some people are scared of death but some are scared to live.

Josh Alexander vs Brody King

They lock up. Brody throws him off. Josh hits forearms and euros. King hits forearms in the corner. King hits a big chop. Josh pulls King's throat down over the top. Josh tries to crossbody King's back on the apron but takes a death valley driver on the floor.

Josh is thrown into and over the rail outside. King then suplexes him on the floor. King's foot is kicked into the steps. Josh comes off the apron and is hit with a forearm. We go to break and return.

Josh and King trade chops. King double chops him down. Josh running boots him. Josh hits a spinning torture rack bomb for 2.

King back body drops him. Josh boots him out of the corner. King hits a black hole slam for 2. Josh rebound germans him. King no sells it and lariats him. King hits a corner cannonball for 2. King hits a superplex.

King misses a corner charge and is forearmed. Josh presses down on the back of his leg and ankle locks him. King gets up and germans him. King hits a lariat then does an over the shoulder piledriver. The time limit then expires.

Thoughts: I didn't like this one. They did too much here and didn't sell much at all. There wasn't a lot of big vs small man logic here either.

Lance Archer helps up Josh after. King topes Lance and Josh.

We get a video on Cru. They say they hoped Top Flight learned their lesson and learned to fear them. Lio says you are either Cru or enemy.

Max Caster is in the ring. He says we are looking at the best wrestler alive. He says we just saw a 15 minute draw and says no one in AEW can survive 5 minutes with him. Max says to put 5 minutes on the clock and asks the crowd to do this chant.

5 Minute Open Challenge - Max Caster vs Daniel Garcia

DG stomps on Max in the corner and foot chokes him. Max double throat thrusts him. DG hits a twist and shout. DG shotgun dropkicks him then piledrivers him to win.

Thoughts: As usual, I don't get what the idea is here with Max.

DG gets on the mic after. He says he just handled his business and tells FTR to handle theirs. He says he will talk to them after.

Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn are interviewed. He says he's in his home state of NJ and will use his 5 tools to climb his way to gold. Lee Johnson and Blake Christian come in. Blake says Bowens beat him 3 weeks ago. He says the people said he got outshined by Blake. Lee says he's 150% better than Bowens. He says he knows how to put him down. Bowens tells him to step up.

The Gates of Agony (Kaun and Toa Liona) vs Ray Jaz and Goldy

GoA does an inset promo. Kaun says there's worse things in life than death. They tell Big Bill and Bryan Keith to abandon all hope.

Kaun boots Ray and release germans him. Kaun running suplexes him. Toa running back elbows Ray in the corner. Goldy is thrown in then Toa pounces him over the top to the floor. Goldy takes a great bump for it. Ray takes a corner hip attack and corner meteora. Ray takes a t-gimmick and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was all squash as expected. Goldy's bump was fantastic.

We then see Cru watching in the seats. Toa challenges them to come in. Cru teases coming in.

We go to the tron. Big Bill and Bryan Keith are in the parking lot. Keith tells The Gates of Agony to come to them in the parking lot. GoA then walk to the back.

We go to break and return. GoA fights Bill and Bryan in the parking lot. Bryan is sent into a rail. Bill boots Kaun and throws a chair down at him but we don't see it. Toa hits Bill with a trash can. Someone is grabbed by Bill and Toa and thrown into a sign. Bryan gets on Toa's back with a sleeper then he is backed up into a truck. We then cut away which sucks. We had all the time for a Bowens promo but not for a parking lot fight...

2/3 Falls - FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs Paragon (Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly)

FTR have new slower music which I find annoying.

1st Fall - Kyle goes for Cash's arm and Cash gets out. Cash sunset flips Kyle but Kyle holds on and goes for the armbar. RS chops down Dax in the corner. Dax hits chops on RS. RS hits chops and forearms. RS dropkicks him. 

Kyle knees both FTR members in the gut then hits kicks on both while they are down. RS blocks FTR's shatter machine. Dax takes a step up knee > uranage backbreaker > PK. Cash takes a chop + brainbuster. RS dropkicks Cash through the ropes. Kyle ankle locks Dax and submits him.

2nd Fall - This starts during the PiP break. Kyle takes a double lariat. Cash slingshot elbow drops Kyle. RS strong on Kyle. Cash chinlocks Kyle then does a second one. Cash goes into the 2nd buckle crotch first on a missed charge.

RS comes in and lariats Cash. He half-nelson backbreakers Dax. Dax is dropped onto Cash. RS running forearms Dax and drops him chest for for 2. RS chops Dax outside then totally misses a facekick on Cash. FTR are put on a chair together but the chair breaks. Kyle then dropkicks FTR from the apron while they are in the broken chair.

RS chops Dax in the crowd. Dax spears RS' knee in the ring. We go to PiP break and return. Kyle pulls Cash over the top. Kyle flying knees Cash off the apron. Kyle hits a strike combo on Dax outside.

Kyle armbreakers Dax then ankle locks him. Dax sleepers Kyle to break it. Kyle slips out and up kicks him. Cash rolls up Kyle for 2. Kyle forearms Cash. Kyle back body drops Dax. RS takes a shatter machine and is pinned.

3rd Fall - Kyle flying knees RS off the top. RS jumping knees Dax then Dax takes a lariat + legsweep. Dax is pinned with his feet on the ropes. The bell rings but the ref waves it off. Kyle and RS don't know. Cash clips RS. Kyle ankle locks Cash. Cash seems to tap out then Dax rolls up Kyle for 2. Kyle takes a shatter machine and is pinned. 

Thoughts: It was okay but the finish didn't really help. It wasn't one of FTR's best matches but it got a lot of time and was what you would expect.

FTR and Stoke pose after. Daniel Garcia comes out with a mic and a crowbar. DG says he wants to beat them with the crowbar but he can't. He says he had too much love for them. He said he thought they had a lot of love for him too. He said when he was stranded, they put him back on his feet. He says he's left looking for answers but says he can't get them by having a therapy session with them. He challenges them for a match next week. 

Overall thoughts: The women had a good showing here. Toni/Frost was fine and I liked Bayne/Harley. The four-way was a spotfest but they didn't overdo it so I was alright with it. I didn't like Josh/Brody and I didn't like them cutting away from the parking lot brawl. We then had 2 squashes and a solid main. It was an okay episode overall but nothing must see. I'd give it a 6 out of 10.
