EPW Wrestling 5/3/2025 Episode #188 

Bonecrusher and K-Swiss talk. Bonecrusher is on the phone and he is told he needs to sign something right now. Bonecrusher says K-Swiss needs to just wait. He tells him to be ready for his match and K-Swiss says, "What match?". Both then leave.

We are in Booneville, MS. Hollywood Jimmy and Joey Gross are our hosts.

Madi The American Badi is interviewed. She says the champ isn't here but she is. She says she's the true champ and says the building wouldn't be full if she wasn't booked. She says she's the backbone of the women's division. She says it's about time someone respects her.

Diana Taylor interrupts. She says she was here when Madi was sitting in the front row. She says the only thing she did was get her fake nails. Madi says Diana is only here because of her last name. Diana tells her to get in the ring if she wants to know why she's here. The interviewer asks for a ref to come out.

Madi The American Badi vs Diana Taylor

Madi hits Diana from behind outside. She bangs Diana's head off the apron then chops her. Diana hits big forearms outside and chops her. Diana spinning side slams her for 2. Diana pulls Madi's head forward and leg lariats her for 2.

Madi chops her then dragon screws her. Madi headscissors her and bangs her head off the mat with it. Madi running euros her in the back against the ropes for 2. Madi foot chokes her then corner hip attacks her. Madi throws her down backwards then sits on her neck on the ropes.

Diana back elbows her then hits a samoan drop. Madi codebreakers her. Madi then 2nd rope diving codebreakers her to win.

Thoughts: It was a standard match with a lot of chops and basic strikes. It was just average and not too much of note. They could have connected a bit more on some of the shots.

K-Swiss is interviewed. He says he has a new look. He says Bonecrusher has been lazy and too kind and nice. He said he showed that Bonecrusher can be manipulated. He says this is his show. He says what we saw to open the show was Bonecrusher stepping down and K-Swiss stepping up. K-Swiss says he's now the commissioner. He says we will do it his way and says there's no more Mr. Nice Guy. He says we are doing things his way and this is his show. He says everyone needs to step up or step aside.

Parental Advisory (Dakota Gage and Hunter Dabbs) vs The Underground Syndicate (Brandon Young and Chris Styles)

Dabbs and Young go at it. Dabbs enzugiri's him from the apron. Dabbs springboard la silla's him then flying headscissors him. Gage corner spears Young then Young takes an enzugiri. Gage fisherman suplexes Young. Gage springboard lariats Young on the apron.

Young pumping knees him. Gage exploders Chris and twisting drops him off of his shoulder. Gage hits a spinning side slam then Young slingshot swantons Chris. Dabbs does a seated springboard into a headcissors him. Chris tries a dropkick but doesn't connect.

Young is lifted into a dropkick on Dabbs for 2. Dabbs ddt's Young. Dabbs takes a buckle bomb then no sells it and canadian destroyers Young. Dabbs hits a dropkick. Chris and Gage get in. Gage back elbows him over. Gage tries to suplex Young but Styles holds onto Gage's legs and Gage is pinned.

Thoughts: It was an indy style match and I wasn't a big fan of it. It didn't really get enough time for what they were doing here as it ended when I thought we were just at the middle portion of the match.

Marko Harris is interviewed. He is asked what's on the horizon and he says EPW itself is on the rise. He says we are taking EPW straight to the top. He says James Ellsworth thought he could take it from him and did with some help. Tim Bosby comes out.

Tim says it's weird for Marko to talk like a fighting champ. He says they were scheduled for a match and Marko didn't show up. Tim says he whooped his tail up the road 100 miles in Memphis, TN. Marko says we aren't talking about Memphis, we are talking about Mississippi. Marko says he will show him that his win was a fluke and he has home court advantage with the people behind him.

Tim challenges him to a title match. Marko agrees. Refs hen come out to stop any potential fight.

Overall thoughts: We had 2 matches but neither were that good. It was also a shorter show at only 26 minutes. It wasn't awful or anything but I wouldn't recommend this one.
