Alicia Fox vs Naomi

 

Naomi wristlocks her. Fox cartwheels out and reverses it. Naomi does the same, splits her legs and kicks her. Fox rolls her up for 2. Naomi armdrags her for 2 then leg lariats her. They shove each other. Fox bangs Naomi's head off the buckles then facebusters her. Fox bangs Naomi's head off the mat and chinlocks her.

Fox hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on her. Fox northern lights suplexes her for 2 then chinlocks her. Naomi hits back elbows and flying headscissors her. Naomi does like a flying flipping lariat. Naomi high kicks her from the apron and botches a slingshot in. Naomi thorws her over the shoulder and legdrops her for 2. Fox drives Naomi's head in the mat with her leg while holding the arm for 2.

Naomi monkey flips her then hits a hip attack. Naomi then pins her.

Thoughts: This was a weird one. Fox was super athletic in all of her bumps to the point that she was almost flipping out of various moves. They had a lot of sloppy moments here and maybe even invented a move or two out of some of the sloppy moments. I think these two were too athletic for their own good in this one.

Zack Ryder vs Jinder Mahal

Jin wristlocks him and Zack reverses it. Jin stomps on him. Zack facebusters him then dropkicks him. Zack hits corner punches. Jin shoulders him over. Zack flapjacks him and lariats him over. Zack suplexes him then lariats him over the top. Zack dropkicks him between the ropes.

We go to break and return. Zack armlocks him. Zack is put between the ropes and Jin boots him out. Zack takes a hard fall. Jin rams him into the apron edge. Jin hits mounted punches. Jin hits knee drops on him. Jin neckbreakers him for 2.

Jin emerald flowsions/side michinoki drivers him then misses a knee drop. Zack flips out of a suplex and hits a neckbreaker. Zack hits a thesz press then 2nd rope dropkicks him. Heath Slater distracts Zack and Jin flying knees Zack for 2. Zack hits a rough ryder and gets the pin.

Thoughts: It was an okay midcard match here. It wasn't great but they had an athletic match and both looked decent here. They put more effort into this one than I expected and did about as good as you could with this. Zack's bump to the outside looked rough.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches as usual amongst recaps. The women's match walked the line between being super athletic and sloppy and ended up being sloppy. They did some like they could maybe do a better one down the line. The men's match was fine with both guys trying hard and having an athletic match. You don't really need to see this one but it was an easy watch.
