Last Chance Women's Iron Survival Challenge Qualifier - Jaida Parker vs Wren Sinclair vs Cora Jade vs Kelani Jordan

KJ hit a moonsault off the rail here and Jaida did a double butt press in the corner with 2 opponents laying on ropes. We got a 3 person tower of doom spot. KJ hit a sitout powerbomb on Cora. KJ hit a 450 off the top onto Cora. Lola Vice came out and nailed Wren while trying to hit Jaida. Wren then fell on Cora and got the win.

Thoughts: This got a good bit of time and was a fast paced match with a lot of action as expected. I figured Wren was the least likely to win this one and I'm really surprised to see her win. My guess is that she's going to serve as the job girl because she's not going to bring that much to the table otherwise. I don't like Wren winning this though. Kelani would have made for a more exciting match. I liked the match but it was a little long.

Eddy Thorpe is interviewed by Sarah. She says she's surprised he's here after accidentally hitting Ava. Eddy said Ava and Shawn watched the incident last week and saw he did nothing wrong. Lexis King walks in and says Eddy needs to learn to control his temper. He says being a loose cannon won't get him anywhere. He said he proved he is not his father's son. He says he wants to upstage his father by winning a major singles title, which he said his father never did.

Jaida Parker comes out and yells at the ref. She calls the ref a n!gga and I think says to take down the ropes for NXT Underground. She also has the brick with her again.

We go to break and return. Jaida said Lola cost her the qualifying match twice. She gets bleeped out and says she will give her what she wants if she wants an NXT Underground match. She tells her to get her @ss out here now. Ava comes out.

Ava says Jaida can't have 2 matches in one night. She says it will be her vs Lola in an NXT Underground match at the PPV though.

Lola Vice comes out. She says Jaida's ego did her the best favor. She says this is her world and says Jaida knows nothing about it. She says she will knock her @ss out and says she doesn't have the brick now. Jaida says she doesn't the brick, gives her it and knocks her out wit ha back elbow. Refs then check on Lola.

Dion Lennox, Karmen Petrovic and Brinley Reece talk in the back. Karmen says Brin was right about Ashante. Karmen gets a text from Ashante and is told the text to Nikkita were from weeks ago. She is then given flowers.

Fraxiom talk in the back. Ax says he likes his chances in the ICS qualifier tonight. Frazer isn't paying attention. Frazer says he's focused on the tag team battle royale. Frazer says Saturday will be tough for both of them but if anyone can pull it off, it's them. Frazer then forgets what they are talking about.

#1 Contender's Tag Team Battle Royale

Yoshiki Inamura of NOAH is making his in-ring TV debut here. He looks really pale and fat. Inamura hits a big double lariat on The D'Angelo Family. Luca is slingshotted into a diving shoulderblock on him.

Dupont is first out by Hank and Tank but they shake his hand. Nima nails Lucien Price from the side. Inamura chops Luca and knocks him out of he ring with it. Josh Briggs facekicks Tavion Heights from the side and throws him out. 

Gallus double lariats Briggs over the top. OTM double hiptoss Stacks out onto opponents. We go to break and return. Nimawas maybe eliminated during the break. We see Fraxiom talk in the back about this. Igwe is thrown out by Hank and Tank. Mark Coffey pounces Hank out.

Wolfgang lariats Tank out but Hank catches him and saves him. Wolf hits sentons in the corner on opponents then Mark Coffey follows up with dropkicks. Lucien Price throws Wolf over the top then Tank lariats Mark Coffey over the top. Myles Borne, Lucien Price and Tank Ledger are the last 3 left.

Price uranages Borne onto Tank. Tank springboard shoulders Price over, making Borne crucifix driver Price. Price is crotched on the top rope. Borne lariats Tank over the top then dropkicks Price out to win.

Thoughts: It was a hard one to keep track of with so many people involved. It had the usual limitations battle royales have. I was surprised to see Borne pick up the win here. It had a lot of action but was just average.

Eric Bischoff comes out. He says NXT is undeniable. He says he has always been on the cutting edge of pro wrestling. He says he revolutionized the industry with The NWO. He says the feeling was awesome when he came to NXT. He says the revolution is happening to NXT and the fans get to be part of it.

He says two important pieces of the NXT puzzle are competing for the title at Deadline and happen to be his guests. He brings out Ridge Holland and Trick Williams.

Eric says he couldn't wait to see them face to face and says you can cut the tension with a chainsaw. He says Ridge is the antithesis of what a wrestler is supposed to be and a throwback to people like Dick the Bruiser and The Crusher. He says Trick is the evolution of the revolution. He says he's got it all. He says he can't wait to see what develops here.

Ridge says Trick is nothing but a stand-up comedian with abs. He says he's an insult to what the vision of NXT should be. Ridge says he will win the title and have to listen to antagonists like Eric and has been podcasters. Trick says Ridge is built like a fridge and destroyed Chase U to chase him. Trick says Ridge isn't original. He calls Ridge bland and boring.

Ridge says he proved what he was about when he beat him in Philly. Ridge says he played a man's game in rugby and says the fans are caught in Trick's aura. He says Trick is soft. He says he will put Trick down and leave NXT champ.

Trick then hits him after confirming he said he was soft. Ridge outs and Trick goes after him. Trick is sent into the steps. Ridge ddt's Trick on the commentary table. Trick then has the stretcher brought out for him.

Thoughts: It wasn't anything too special as expected and it naturally broke out into a fight.

We are told Trick was put in the ambulance and is headed to the hospital. Sarah said Ava doesn't know what this means for the NXT Title match at Deadline.

Nikkita Lyons vs Karmen Petrovic

They avoid kicks to start. Lyons trips her and twists the ankle. KP up kicks her. Lyons hits knees to the gut and KP spin kicks her. Lyons hits a stiff spin kick then hits mounted shots. Lyons sits on her neck on the ropes and twerks while doing it.

Lyons rams her butt into her in the corner. KP kicks her off the ropes then backrolls her for 2. Lyons boots her over for 2. Lyons sleepers her. KP hits shots on her then spinning lariats her. KP roundhouse kicks her and slingblades her for 2.

Lyons germans KP then misses a vader bomb. Ashante Adonis comes out. He pulls up KP. Lyons tries to running forearm KP, KP moves and Ashante gets a forearm. KP high kicks Lyons and pins her.

Thoughts: The match went better than expected and they matched up okay with the various kicks. KP did some new stuff she doesn't normally do here and is continuing to get better by the week. Lyons looked much more comfortable here than in prior weeks.

Ashante is expecting KP to celebrate with him but she says he pushed her.

Niko Vance, Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen talk in the back. Shawn says Niko did a wonderful job last week. Brooks says they took out Tony last week and wants to know what's next. Shawn says to look at the long game and says we've got the talent to go far. He says he's been cultivating Niko and he's almost ready to unleash on the roster. He says we are missing one thing. He then sees Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley talking. Shawn says he will be watching Gigi's return match and Tatum calls Shawn creepy. Tatum has a doll that looks like Gigi.

We see the NQCC talk in the back. Dempsey says the three of them impressed him tonight. He says his crew could win the tag titles. Wren says Tav and Myles will do so good. Wren is less hopeful but says everything went as well as she planned it. She says let's bring the win in for the Wren-Q-CC. 

Gigi Dolin vs Izzi Dame

Gigi lost some weight and just looks a lot better physically then the last time we saw her.

Gigi hammerlocks Izzi then chinlocks her. Fatal Influence is watching in the back. Izzi yanks the arm and wristlocks it. Gigi rolls and bridges then upkicks her. Gigi throws her by the arm. Gigi flying headscissors Izzi then basement dropkicks her on the bottom rope for 2.

Gigi high kicks Izzi and top rope crossbodies her. Izzi stomps on her then drops her form her shoulders. Izzi boots Tatum outside for no real reason and facekicks Gigi. Izzi single leg crabs Gigi. Shawn Spears is out there watching.

Gigi high kicks Izzi then STO's her for 2. Izzi misses a corner spear and Gigi wins with a quetzalcoatl/gigi driver.

Thoughts: There was nothing wrong with it but it was about average. Gigi won here as expected.

Je'Von Evans is interviewed. He says he picks Cedric Alexander for tonight's match. X-Pac walks in and says he's a big fan of Evans. Evans is excited and says he's a fan of him too. Pac says he was the same age as him when he beat Razor Ramon. He says none of his career would have happened without it. Pac says Evans has a shot tonight and he believes in him. They then do a too sweet. Evans says he will go crazy on Saturday.

Last Chance Men's Iron Survival Challenge Qualifier - Lexis King vs Axion vs Eddy Thorpe vs Cedric Alexander

Ethan Page is on commentary for this. Wes Lee is watching from the riser. Je'Von Evans is in the crowd. Eddy facekicks King to start. Ced shoulders over Eddy. Eddy twisting crossbodies him. Eddy is dropkicked into a crucifix driver. King flying headscissors Evans out.

Eddy throws Ax into a dropkick on King then lariats Ax over the top. Eddy rolls up Ced then Ced rolls him up. Ced flatliners Eddy off the bottom rope. Ced and Ax chop each other. Ced and Ax do stereo topes on opposite sides of the ring. Ced standing ssp's Ax for 2.  

We go to break and return. We get a tower of doom spot with Eddy taking the superplex. King rolls up Ax and northern lights suplexes Ced at the same time. King tope con hilos Ax and Ced outside. King top rope swantons Ced for 2.

Eddy spin kicks King in the gut and germans Ced. Eddy brainbusters Ax for 2. Ced asai moonsaults Eddy. Ax walks up the ropes and diving headscissors Ced. Ax cradles King. Ax top rope spanish flies Eddy for 2. Ced top rope frogsplashes Ax while he has an armbar on Eddy.

Ced michinoku drivers King for 2. Ax hits a golden ratio kick on King. Eddy pulls Ax out on the pin attempt and pins King.

Thoughts: It was fast paced and high flying here as expected. The selling wasn't much here at all and they did overdo it some. It was entertaining though and it went better than I expected.

 Mr. Stone and Stevie Turner are in the back. Ava is video calling them. Turner says everything is going well. Ava says Trick insists he wrestles this weekend. Ava says the match is still on.

We go to break and return. Cora Jade talks to Mr. Stone and Stevie Turner. She complains about Kelani Jordan and other girls and they don't want to hear it. Eddy Thorpe goes up to Stone and Turner and said Ava did the right thing by not suspended him. He says he will be the iron survivor at Deadline. Turner says everyone seems really p!ssed off. Turner and Stone then seem to spot someone but they cut away.

Roxanne Perez comes out to talk. She says Deadline could be life changing. She says one lucky girl will get a title shot courtesy of her at the Iron Survivor Challenge. Perez says it won't be easy and says she is speaking from experience.

Pere says the ISC will be a dead end though. She says congrats to Wren as no one believed in Wren like they didn't with her. She talks about the girls in the ISC and says they can't beat her when it counts. She says nobody beats The Prodigy.

Sol Ruca, Vaquer, Giulia and Zaria come out. Perez says they need to get through each other before they get to her. Wren then comes out and nails Perez. Everyone brawls and security and refs try to break it up.

We go to the locker room and Eddy Thorpe is down in the bathroom. Various wrestlers come in and wonder what happened.

Thoughts: Two injury angles is a bit much here. The women's segment wasn't much of note otherwise with them all fighting as expected.

Overall thoughts: They had a good line-up here with two multi-person matches and a battle royal. I didn't hate anything on here. I liked the show overall and thought they did a good job of hyping up the PPV, though I wonder why we didn't get any updates on Chase U. I don't think this was must see but I would give it a 6 out of 10.
