Around the Ring with Gia Miller

Joe Hendry is this week's guest. Gia says we get the real Joe today. Gia wants to talk about love languages. He says his is spinning around and smirking at the camera. Gia says they talked about black holes on another show and she wants to leave this one open for discussion. Joe says he wants the people to know nothing about his personal life.  

He says he dropped elbows on a chair on a podcast with Ric Flair. He said they were trying to sell stuff to raise money for Chris Bey. He said his elbow really hurts from it. He says he was not the cool guy or the popular guy in high school and it's odd how things are going well now. He says no one wanted anything to do with him in high school.

Gia says the mystery around Joe is part of the character. Joe says he has become very good at evading questions. Gia then ends the interview. Joe is perplexed by this. He says he doesn't have a favorite kind of cake, but it would be a carrot cake if he had to pick one. 

Sami Callihan vs Trent Seven

This was pre-taped in the summer. Sami charges at him. Trent gets him to stop then he punches him. Sami walks away to avoid a dive from Trent. Sami hits an AA on the floor on Trent.

Sami stands on Trent's back. Sami chest clubs him on the ropes. Sami knees Trent in the leg and chops him in the throat. Sami twists on Trent's fingers and traps his hands. Sami hits him in the back of the neck then chinlocks him.

Sami back elbows him and chops him in the throat. Sami front facelocks him. Trent chops Sami low and Sami tells him to come on after a chest chop. Trent ddt's Sami for 2. Trent chops him in the corner, misses a rainmaker and Sami lariats him for 2.

Trent punches Sami then hits a rainmaker for 2. Trent splits Sami's fingers then backhands him for 2. Sami grabs him by the crotch and hits forearms. Sami then does piledriver and gets the win.

Thoughts: This one didn't strike me as a good match on paper. It was an unusual match with Sami doing his usual oddball shtick. I didn't like them starting this off with an AA on the floor that ultimately had no effect on the rest of the match. I wasn't a fan of this one.

Overall thoughts: This had one new match and a new Gia Miller interview as usual. It was not must see and I didn't care for the one match they showed. I would not recommend this.
