Wendy Choo vs Dani Palmer

Dani waistlocks her and is thrown off. Choo trips her and grabs the leg. Dani handstands out of it and rolls her up. Dani side headlock takeovers her then side headlocks her. Choo headscissors her.

Dani handstands out of it then headflips into a pin attempt on her. Dani low crossbodies her and side headlocks her. Dani headscissors her off the up and over. She then dropkicks her. She tries the headscissors again and is stopped by Choo. Choo pushes into the buckles.

Choo headbutts Dani and snapmares her. Choo twists her neck with her feet. Dani is put in tree of woe and Choo dropkicks her. Choo rolls her up for 2. Choo cartwheel lariats her in the corner then running facekicks her.

Choo elbow drops her for 2. Choo cranks Dani's head. Dani jawbreakers her. Dani sunset flips her but Choo rolls through and basement dropkicks her. Dani is put in tree of woe again. Dani flips out of a backdrop.

Dani back elbows her then hits lariats. Dani knees her then misses a step up enzugiri. Dani shotgun dropkicks her and kips up. Dani pendulum double knees her in the back of the neck. Dani goes for a standing corkscrew moonsault. Choo gets her knees up and taps her out with a grounded cobra clutch.

Thoughts: Choo won as expected here. Dani did her usual flying though she didn't quite hit a move or two here. It wasn't bad. I do feel like Dani is being wasted on this show though when she's a lot better than most of the roster.

Oro Mensah is interviewed. He says Niko Vance is one of the fastest rising stars on the roster. He says Niko has potential but is crazy because he is listening to Shawn Spears. He says he will kick some sense into his brains if he needs it. Oro called himself "The Main Man" here.

Dani is interviewed in the back. She says she usually tries to keep it positive and upbeat. She says she'd be lying if she said she wasn't upset. She says she knows she's one of the best in NXT but can't strings together. She says she's constantly going one step forward and one step back and feels exhausted. She says something has got to change and she will give everything she has to figure it out.

Oro Mensah vs Niko Vance

Niko has Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen with him. Niko is bac kto his old gear here. Niko hits corner spears and release suplexes him. Oro hits forearms. Niko knees him in the gut. Oro tries to flipping koppo kick him but mostly misses. Oro facekicks him. Oro flying headscissors him.

Niko hits a rough looking stun gun on Oro on the top rope.  Oro goes out on it. Niko bangs Oro's head off the apron then pushes his head into the steps.

They get back in and Niko corner lariats him in what looked like a botch. Niko foot chokes him. Niko backbreakers him. They trade shots and Oro backsides him for 2. I think they mess up another spot and Niko hits a hard powerbomb for 2.

Niko pulls on Oro's chin while kneeling on his back. Niko gets on his back and sleepers him. Oro hits lariats. Oro asai moonsaults him. Oro bangs Niko's head off the buckles. Oro suplexes him for 2. Niko's bleeding from the nose. Oro spin kicks him.

Niko lariats him from the apron then hits a top rope headbutt drop. Niko gets the win.

Thoughts: Niko winning was a shock. Unfortunately, it wasn't one of his best outings. There were many sloppy moments here and the two just didn't work that well together. It's a shame too as they got out to a good start and I do think Niko has a lot of potential. Niko got busted open in this one. 

Overall thoughts: There were only two new matches here. Dani vs Choo was fine but not great. The main wasn't good. Niko and Oro just didn't work well together at all with multiple sloppy moments and Niko ended up getting busted open during this. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 and wouldn't really recommend this.
