#1 Contender's Tournament First Round - Katana Chance vs Alba Fyre
KC flying headscissors her by Alba cartwheels out. Alba waistlock takedowns her and crucifixes her for 2. KC armdrags her then does a slingshot headscissors. KC gets a 2 count on her. Alba gordbusters her. She hits a short flatliner into a koji clutch. KC ropebreaks.
KC hits kicks and legsweeps her. KC does a spinning splash on her. Alba knee drops her for 2. KC codebreakers her. Alba superkicks her for 2 then does another koji clutch. KC trips her then slingshot facebusters her to win at 2:25.
Thoughts: It was okay with them having a fast paced match. They moved around well here and I don't recall seeing Chance do that finisher before. It was okay for what it was but nothing great. I think this format suits Chance and allows her to show off some of her flying.
Overall thoughts: There was only one new 2 minute match as usual here. They did what they could with it and it was okay but nothing you need to see. 2 minutes is just not a lot of time to do anything.
