FUNKY SAUCE (Alex Zayne & Ryusuke Taguchi) & Katsuya Murashima vs. BULLET CLUB War Dogs (Gabe Kidd, Gedo & SANADA)

The version of this I had joined this in progress. Sanada beat Katsuya with a skull end submission here. It was your usual trios match with everyone getting some in time before it ended. Katsuya continues to be a fun underdog. Taguchi did a bunch of hip attacks here as always and we didn't get Alex's best work in this one. It was very average.

Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) & Shoma Kato vs. United Empire (Callum Newman, Jakob Austin Young & Jeff Cobb)

CN = Callum Newman

CN and Goto lock up. CN hits a running facekick. Goto shoulders CN over. Cobb gets shoulderd over then Jake does as well. Jake takes a double shoulder. Kato forearms him then takes a double stomp on the back. Cobb stands on Yoshi outside.

CN snapmares Kato then sleepers him. Cobb powerslams Kato then surfs on his back. Cobb standing moonsaults him for 2. Cobb chops Kato over and razor's edges him into the buckles. Kato hits a nice dropkick on CN.

Goto comes in and shoulders over CN. Goto spinning heel kicks and backdrops CN for 2. Everyone comes in to get a move in and Goto lariats Cobb. CN flying knees Goto then Goto hits an ushigoroshi on him.

Kato hits forearms on Jake then flying forearms him. Kato flying forearms Jake in the corner and slams him for 2. Kato crabs Jake. Jake leg lariats Kato then hits a shiranui on him. Jake pins Kato.

Thoughts: This was mostly the Kato show. He did pretty much all the work here with Yoshi getting almost nothing in. Kato did good though, selling well and showing some spirit. Jake continues to not really show much.

Cobb/CN and Yoshi/Goto talk after.

Tiger Mask & Tomoaki Honma vs. BULLET CLUB (Chase Owens & KENTA)

The heel sattack before the bell. Chase and Honma fight outside and Chase eye rakes him. Tiger is sent into the rails. Chase tries to untie Tiger's mask in the ring then pulls his arms back.

Tiger double back kicks Chase and tags in Honma. Honma shouldrs Chase over then hiptosses him. Honma facebusters Chase then misses a headbutt drop. Honma hits a flatliner + ddt combo and misses a headbutt drop on Chase. Honma forearms Chase and missing a flying headbutt. Chase then misses a headbut drop on Hon,a.

Tiger and Kenta get in. Tiger spin kicks him then crucifixes him. Tiger double underhook suplexes him for 2. Tiger then goes for an AT lock but it is broken up. Tiger hits knees to Kenta's gut. Tiger takes kicks from his opponents and takes a knee from Chase for 2.

HOnma hits forearms on both opponents. He headbutts Kenta and Chase hits Kenta on accident. Honma is sent into the rails outside. Kenta rips off Tiger's mask and rolls him up to win.

Thoughts: It was short and nothing of note as expected. Honma missed headbutts here and the heels went after Tiger's mask before taking it off. 

Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji) vs. TMDK (Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr.)

Shingo wants Zack to start this one. Zack wristlocks him then Shingo does it to him. Zack takes him down by the arm. Shingo shoulders him over. Shingo avoids a PK. Zack wristlocks him and tags in Kosei. Kosei chops up Shingo.

Kosei misses a springboard then takes a punch + ddt combo. Bushi comes in and double chops Kosei for 2. Kosei takes a double shoulderblock and Oiwa is pushed into a Shingo shoulderblock. Kosei and Yuta chop each other and Kosei step up kicks him.

Oiwa lariats Yota over then hiptosses him. Yota headscissors him down and hits dropkicks on all 3 opponents. Yota takes a double back elbow, a PK and an Oiwa running euro.

Shingo corner lariats Oiwa. Oiwa hits a double lariat on Shingo and Yota. Yota headscissors Oiwa then curbstomps him. Bushi gets in and dropkicks Zack in the knee. Bushi topes Oiwa into the rails. Bushi ddt's Oiwa for 2. Kosei springboard dropkicks Bushi. Bushi takes a pele kick to the arm then an Oiwa bckdrop for 2. TMDK do triple submissions at once. Oiwa spinning lariats Bushi and wins.

Thoughts: It was fast paced and all action from start to finish. They didn't get a ton of time but they put some work in here. Oiwa got over a bit in this one. It's a shame it didn't get double the time it got because the talent was there.

Shingo and Zack talk after and Oiwa talks to Yota after.

World Tag League 2024 Block B Match - Oleg Boltin & Toru Yano vs. Just 4 Guys (Taichi & TAKA Michinoku)

Tai and Oleg start us off. They trade forearms for leg kicks. Tai hits Kawada kicks. Oleg hits forearms then shoulders him over. Oleg hits a double shoulderblock. Tai head kicks him in the corner then Tai running lariats him. Tai buzzsaw kicks him then backdrops him for 2. Tai puts stretch plum on Oleg as Taka puts just facelock on Yano.

Tai takes his pants off and facekicks Oleg. Oleg belly to belly suplexes him. Oleg dropkicks Tai. Yano comes in and eye rakes Tai, then takes a side kick. Taka stomps on Yano and wraps his arm around the ropes.

Tai wraps Yano's arm around the ropes and pulls. Taka bangs Yano's arm off his shoulder and armbars him. Taka eye pokes Yano and takes an atomic drop. Oleg tags in and shoulders over Taka. Oleg karelin's lifts Taka then corner pslashes him. Oleg bvader bombs Taka for 2.

Taka step up knees Oleg in the corner then superkicks him. Yano pulls Tai down by the hair and catapults him into Oleg. Taka sunset flips Oleg off of it. Taka backslides Oleg then rolls him up for 2.

Taka does another sunset flip for 2 then knees Oleg in the head for 2. Taka superkicks him. Taka tries a slam but Oleg falls on him. Oleg then hits a finlay roll and wins.

Thoughts: Yano got his arm worked on here but tagged out and that ended. The rest of it was just Taka trying to get a pin over Oleg and eventually failing. It was average for the most part but they did try here.

World Tag League 2024 Block B Match - The Natural Classics (Stevie Filip & Tome Filip) vs. House Of Torture (EVIL & Ren Narita)

HoT attacks before the bell and sends their opponents out. Tome is sent into the post then Ren stomps on him. Tome facekicks Ren over then slams him. Tome legdrops Ren for 2. Ren takes a running boot and a kneeling springboard swanton from Stevie.

Ren and Stevie choke each other. Ren eye rakes him and sends him into the exposed buckle. Stevie is then sent into the rial and knocks the timekeeper over. Ren bangs Stevie's arm off his shoulder. Evil elbows Stevie's arm.

Ren back elbows Stevie then armbars him. Steview gets chaired by Togo outside. Stevie hits a nice dropkick on Evil. Stevie chops both opponents. Ren is footpresed down while hanging from the top rope and Stevie spinebusters Evil.

Evil fisherman suplexes Stevie and Ren chokes Stevie. Tome takes some offense and Stevie tags in. Stevie forearm flurries Ren. Ren chokes him. Ren takes a pump kick + drop for 2.

Stevie top rope ssp's Ren for 2. Evil pushes Tome into the ref. Togo then 2nd rope crotch chops Stevie. Ren armbars Stevie. Stevie does a jack knife pin on Ren then a crucifix for 2. Ren grabs the ref and Evil low blows Stevie. Tome low blows Evil. Ren low blows Tome then Tome low blows Ren.

Stevie grabs a chair, the ref takes it away and Togo throws salt into Stevie's eyes. Ren facebusters Stevie and wins.

Thoughts: This was all HoT cheating and Stevie and Tome lost again. It wasn't much of note and was the usual HoT match for the most part.

World Tag League 2024 Block B Match - Hiroshi Tanahashi & Jado vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Hiromu Takahashi & Tetsuya Naito)

HT = Hiromu Takahashi

Tana and Naito go at it. HT pulls Tana's hair from the outside and Tana is double teamed. Tana 2nd rope twisting crossbodies his opponents. Naito takes a double shoulderblock and HT takes a double back elbow. Tana's team then plays air guitar before their opponents hit them from behind.

Naito twists Jado's foot. HT leg locks Jado. HT baseball slides Jado. Naito leglocks Jado and Jado ropebreaks. HT corner lariats Jado then basement dropkicks him for 2. HT hits punches on Jado and Jado no sells them. Jado leans into HT's forearms.

HT stomps on Jado's knee then Jado lariats HT over. Tana and Naito get in. Tana flying forearms him then slams him. Tana 2nd rope swantons him for 2. Naito neckbreakers Tana. Naito back elbows Tana then spits on him. Naito hits a diamond dust. Tana dragon screws Naito. HT facekicks Tana then falcon arrows him for 2.

HT running lariats Tana for 2. Tana dragon screws HT. Tana does a dragon screw while Jado does a crossface. Tana hits a slingblade and is stuck up top. HT hits kicks on Tana then hits an AA for 2.

Jado bridging ddt's Naito over the middle rope. Tana hits twists and shouts on HT then Jado cutters HT. Tana top rope frogsplashes HT and wins.

Thoughts: It went over 15 minutes and was nothing special as expected. Too many of the guys were limited here and this was only going to be so good.

World Tag League 2024 Block B Match - United Empire (Great-O-Khan & HENARE) vs. TMDK (Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste)

Shane and Khan go at it. They do some mat wrestling and hold trading on the mat. Khan side headlocks him. Shane boots him in the face and Khan drives him into the corner for mongolian chops. Khan uppercuts Shane. Khan then sits on his neck in the corner.

Shane is double teamed and takes a splash from Khan for 2. Shane takes a double shoulderblock. Hen kicks Shane in the back. Hen and Shane chop each other. Hen forearms him then is pulled over the top. Mikey ddt's Hen on the apron. Hen is thrown into the rails then is sent through the rail door. 

Mikey cranks Hen's head. Shane cravates Hen around the post. Shane stomps on Hen's head and boots him in the throat. Hen takes a double boot in the corner from his opponents for 2.

Shane cravates Hen. Hen dumps Shane over the top then takes a corner lariat from Mikey. Mikey short arm lariats him. Mikey death valley drivers Hen and sliding lariats him for 2. Mikey and Henare trade forearms. Mikey slaps him then hits a ddt. Hen no sells it and ddt's Mikey. Mikey and Hen lariat each other down at the same time.

Khan comes in. He shoulders over Mikey and facekicks him. He hits mongolian chops and Shane breaks it up. Khan makes Mikey powerbomb Shane in a dumb spot then bangs Mikey's face off the mat for 2. Khan monkey flips Mikey.

Mikey lariats Khan over. Shane hits euros on Khan then 2nd rope tornado ddt's him for 2. Khan suplexes Shane then shoulder throws him. Hen spinning back elbows Shane then 2nd rope twisting enzugiri's him. Hen sentons him for 2. 

Shane reverse slams Hen then Hen berzerker bombs him for 2. Shane cannonballs Hen in the corner then Hen takes a backdrop + neckbreaker combo for 2. Hen takes a rock bottom + powerbomb combo for 2. Hen takes a high/low for 2.

Shane release falcon arrows Hen for 2. Hen step up knees TMDK in the corner then Shane is lifted into a sitout powerbomb from Hen. Mikey lariats Khan over. Shane dropkicks Khan then Hen flying headbutts Shane. Hen hits a big lanzarse spear on Shane for 2. Shane takes an imperial drop and is pinned.

Thoughts: They tried some here and it was a decent main. It really got cooking near the finish of this. It wasn't great but they gave enough to leave you satisfied. 

Hen asks if you can feel the mana of him and Khan after. Hen says they are the best team in the world and that's the mana. Khan then talks in Japanese.

Overall thoughts: As has been the case all tournament long, the B Block isn't really the block for quality.  None of the shows featuring B Block action have been great and this was no exception. The main was the best thing on here but far from must see. I also liked the TMDK trios match but it wasn't long enough. I would give this a 5 out of 10 and wouldn't recommend it.
