Chase U's music hits and Ridge Holland runs through the breakaway flag. He grabs the mic and says, "I told you so". He says he will see Trick Williams at Deadline.

Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Match - Axiom vs. Ethan Page

Nathan Frazer is with Ax. Page side headlocks him and Ax rolls him. Ax crucifixes him and page slides out. We go to break and return. Ax headscissors Page off the apron into the commentary table. Ax rolling armbars Page. Ax rolls at him and gets kicked.

They trade forearms. We see various tag teams watching in the back through an inset. Ax lariats Page on the ropes. Ax pumping knees him then hits a standing spanish fly. Page powerbombs Ax. Page backbreakers Ax then sends him hard into the buckles.

Page does another backbreaker on Ax for 2. Ax hits a top rope spanish fly for 2. They go back up on the buckles and Page backbreakers him on the top buckle. Ax then falls down to the floor.

We go to break and return. Ax flips off the top rope into a ddt for 2. Ax hits forearms and tells him to come on. Page suplexes Ax into the buckles then powerbomb backbreakers him for 2. Ax hurricanrana's Page off the 2nd rope from a razor's edge. Page flips him with a lariat and wins.

Thoughts: They did too much here. Ax did sell some at least but it was too much. I also thought this ran long for an opener. This was all Page working Ax's back and Ax doing flying.

Ethan Page is interviewed in the ring after. He says if you beat against All Ego, you will lose money every single time. He says he finds ways to win. He says he's the last guy anyone wanted to qualify for the ICS. Nathan Frazer interrupts.

NF tells him he hasn't won anything yet and says the ICS is his type of match. He says Page won't be able to keep up with him. Page says he just pinned his tag team partner, who is the driving force of his team. Ax says he's not the driving force then Ax goes up to him. Wes Lee interrupts. He has cut his hair and says Page is trying to rile him up. Wes says he has the ICS on lock.

Je'Von Evans then comes out and talks to the other guys. He says Wes should ask how many times he will be in the pentaly box. OTM then come out. They say they don't care about this and says they don't like Frazer chasing singles gold as a tag guy. Other tag teams come out to fight then NF and Ax dive on them.

Brinley Reeece, Sol, Lola and Vaquer all talk in the back. Lola and Vaquer talk in spanish. Wren says Lola should have just taken the L vs Jaida. Lola says her hands on the only weapons she needs. She says she will show that her fists don't lie.

Ashante Adonis and Nikkita Lyons talk in the back. She says she needed to get his attention last week. He says the train left the station if she needed that as there's Karmen now. Lyons says he is interested though as he texted her. Karmen Petrovic then walks in and rips him for lying. Lyons says men will pick a full grown girl like her over a little girl like Karmen any day. Karmen says she's done with him.

Wren Sinclair vs Lola Vice

Lola takes her down and gets her back. Lola hiptosses her then rolls her around in the front facelock. Wren tries to armdrag her but Lola goes for the armbar. Lola suplexes her multiple times. Wren arm whips her down then bangs her arm off the mat.

Wren headscissors her and pulls on the arm. Lola hits a knee to the gut then hits a kick combo. Wren lariats her over then basement dropkicks her. Wren lariats her over. Lola throws Wren off the steps and Wren dropkicks her into the steps. Lola urakens her and wins.

Thoughts: I wasn't a fan of it. There were just a lot of awkward moves and there was a bunch of arm work that went nowhere. The finish was also too sudden with not much build.

Lola tells Jaida Parker this isn't over after and says they will go underground soon, likely meaning an NXT Underground match.

Adrianna Rizzo talks to Tony and asks where Luca and Stacks are. Tony says they are doing their own thing and says his knee is good when asked.

Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen talks. They each put over Shawn's plan and Shawn says now Brooks is learning.

Tatum Paxley is playing with dolls in the back. She says she has been chasing gold all year and can shut the mean girls up and call her champ. Jacy and Nyx go up to her and say she can never be a champ. They call her a freak and throw her doll down. Tatum says her past will haunt her. Someone we can't see then picks the doll up.

WWE NXT North American Title - Tony D'Angelo (c) vs Shawn Spears

Tony hits Shawn before it starts. Shawn hits him back and shoulders him over. Tony flying forearms him. Tony adjusts his knee pad and Shawn points at the knee. Tony is tripped in the corner and Shawn drops down on Tony's leg.

We go to break and return. Shawn is pulled into the post. Tony superplexes Shawn. We see the tag teams now fighting in the parking lot. Tony hits shots on Shawn and belly to belly suplexes him. Tony slips due to his knee and takes a knee to the face. Shawn figure fours him.

Tony pushes Shawn out of the ring on another figure four attempt then spears him as he gets in. Tony's knee gives out and he takes superkicks. Shawn sunset flips him. Tony tries a pin then spinebusters him.

Thoughts: It was fine with Shawn working the leg and Tony trying to fight through it to win. They kept it moving in this one.

Brooks Jensen goes after Tony after and gets beaten up. Shawn joins in. Tony gets the edge on them. Niko Vance then lariats Tony D down.

We see the tag teams still fighting in the parking lot. Someone is thrown onto a car hood and we go to break. 

We see Andre Chase at Chase U. He's packing his stuff up and reliving memories. He goes to leave and and someone calls his name. We then cut away before we can see who it is.

Women's Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Match - Kelani Jordan vs Giulia

G = Giulia

They lock up and G wristlocks her. KJ rolls out of it and trips her. KJ hooks her leg, G tries to knock her off but KJ cartwheels. G hammerlocks her. KJ low crossbodies her  then G hammerlocks her.

G side headlock takeovers her and crucifixes her. They stare down and KJ offers a handshake. G accepts. KJ irish whups her off of it. G headscissors her and ties up both arms. KJ back elbows her and G headbutts her. G flying headscissors her.

KJ is stopped on a split-legged moonsault. KJ's arm is banged off the top rope. G misses a double stomp off the apron. They slap each other at the same time and stare down.

We go to break and return. G hits a big punch. KJ jumping kicks her. KJ corkscrew slingshot plancha's her outside. KJ hits lariats on her. G catches her off a cartwheel and backrolls her. KJ rolls her up for 2. KJ flying euros her. KJ hits a big dropkick. KJ kicks her while she's on the top rope.

They fight up top. G misses a top rope dropkick. KJ split legged moonsaults her but G catches her in a triangle. KJ sitout powerbombs her for 2. We see Roxanne Perez watching in the back.

They trade forearms on their knees. G hits a forearm. KJ hits a kick on her and G hits a glorious driver. KJ no sells it and rolls her up for 2. G knees her in the face. G northern lights bombs her and wins.

Thoughts: They tried to have a great one here but I don't think they really achieved it. It needed a story of some sort. I didn't like KJ no selling the glorious driver since that's Giulia's finisher. I thought it was just an average match.

Ava talks to the people who lost Iron Survivor Challenger matches and says they will fight for the last spot. Eddy Thorpe complains, saying he got screwed out of his match. Ava talks to Frazer and Axiom. She says there will be a tag team battle royale next week and the winners face them for the tag titles at Deadline. Ax is mad as they are in the ICS. Ax says he wants to talk to NF about this. Eddy says he's not done and grabs Ava. Ava says don't touch her. Someone then knocks the door into Ava and Ava goes down.

We see Shawn Michaels and trainers talk to Ava. Ava tells Shawn what happened. She says she was talking to Eddy. Eddy comes in and says he can explain. Shawn gets mad at him and pushes him. He then pushes him up against the wall and says not to put his hands on her and tells him to get out.

Thoughts: I'm not sure where this is going but it's probably the most interesting thing Eddy has been involved in for a long time.

Trick Williams comes out to talk. He says medical is talking to Ava and says she will be okay as we know who her bloodline is. Trick says NXT has been chaos the last few weeks and says we might have seen the end of Chase U. Trick says it was sad. He then said he saw Ridge look like he was proud of what he did.

Trick says him and Ridge aren't the same. He said he came up in NXT with people like Ilja, Bron, Tiffany and Carmelo Hayes. He says they all laid it on the line to make NXT what it is today. He says Ridge only knows how to destroy things and he won't let him become NXT champ. He says everything they worked so hard to create will die if he does.

Ridge Holland then comes out. Refs try to stop him. Ridge says NXT will die. He says he doesn't care the controversy follows him wherever he goes. Eric Bischoff then appears on the tron. He says next week he wants to get a closer look and says he will come to NXT. Eric says we will find out how bad both of them want the title and says they will want to destroy each other when he's done with them.

Thoughts: Eric Bischoff appearing was a surprise. I wonder what that's about.

Charlie Dempsey and Wren Sinclair talk outside. They see Tavion and Myles Borne looking all beat up. Tav says when they win the tag team battle royale, they will be in a tag title match at Deadline. Dempsey reminds her she's in the last chance ICS match. Wren asks how she's supposed to win.

X-Pac will be on NXT next week.

NXT Women's North American Title - Fallon Henley (c) vs Tatum Paxley

Tatum doesn't get a lot of main events so I hope she makes the best of this. Jacy and Nyx are with Fallon.

They lock up. Fallon throws her over then drops her butt on the arm. Fallon yanks on the arm and knees ito n the mat. Tatum rolls her up. Tatum cartwheels and flips out of an arm throw. Tatum does a double armbar/douki chokey then headscissors her into a pin attempt.

Tatum double underhook suplexes her then boots her out of the ring. Tatum chases her around the ring and throws her in. Jacy yells at Tatum and Fallon wraps around the post and kicks Tatum.

We go to break and return. Tatum fires on Fallon and Fallon chest forearms her. Fallon running forearms her while she's seated for 2. Fallon boots her and Tatum cradles her. They headbutt each other at the same time and both go down. They then crossbody each other at the same time. They trade shots.

Tatum forearms her over and step up enzugiri's her. Tatum does a torture rack drop in the style of a samoan drop. Jacy distracts Tatum on the ropes. Fallon pump handle suplexes Tatum for 2. Tatum hits a nice 450 on her for 2. Tatum dropkicks Nyx through the ropes. Fallon drops a psycho trap. Fallon fameassers Tatum and wins.

Thoughts: Tatum did a good job here and it was an okay main. Tatum's 450 was really nice in this one. I figured Tatum wasn't winning but maybe it could have worked.

Tatum is beat up on by the heels after. Gigi Dolin's music hits and she appears from behind. She beats up Fatal Influence and looks like she lost a decent bit of weight. Tatum and Gigi fight with Fatal Influence. Tatum and Gigi hit stereo step up enzugiri's.

Thoughts: Gigi and Jacy have a history so it makes sense for her to come out and help Tatum.

Overall thoughts: It was a decent show as it is most weeks. There were no great matches on this one though they did try to do one in the opener. They got a lot going on as always and have some things set-up for next week. The men's division really needs some serious help though. There's too many people stuck in tag teams that are going nowhere and just not a lot of great singles prospects currently. I would give the show a 6 out of 10 but you don't really need to see it.
