Dragon Gate 6/3/2022 - Toryumon Reunion Vol. 2

CHANGO, Dragon Kid & Genki Horiguchi vs. Hisamaru Tajima, Masahiro Takanashi & Milanito Collection at

Tajima never really did any Dragon Gate, just Toryumon Mexico and some Ultimo Dragon shows in Japan. Genki is in his old surfer outfit and Dragon Kid is wearing his old outfit. Genki headlock takeovers masa then does a surfing motion. Chango gets in and wants to tag out against Tajima. Chango hits chest slaps on Tajima and is knocked over. They shoulder battle and Chango tries a back elbow but is bowled over. Tajima then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him.

Kid and Milanito go at it and Milanito armdrags him. He then puts him in the paradise lock and poses. Genki then grabs him from behind and hair throws him. Genki grabs a stretch band and Milaninto gets it in the face.

Z-Brats then interrupt and cause a No Contest, then they talk and the match becomes...

Hisamaru Tajima, Masahiro Takanashi & Milanito Collection at vs. CHANGO, Dragon Kid & Genki Horiguchi vs. Z-Brats (BxB Hulk, KAI & SB KENTo) vs. Z-Brats (Diamante, H.Y.O & Shun Skywalker)

Z-Brats attack all of non-Brats and we get some brawling outside. Someone gets wrapped in a mat outside. Kid takes a spinning rack drop from Diamante then Kid takes moves from all the Brats. Kid 619's Kento's gut then rotation ddt's Hyo. Chango top rope crossbodies Kai then enzugiri's Hulk. Chango then axe kicks Kai.

Masa beats up on two brats then Tajima double lariats them. Chango and Milanito tope con hilo the Brats. Genki tornado ddt's Kento then we have an 11 person suplex. Genki takes a bunch of running corner moves then Kento gets it. Genki backslides Kento for 2 then is rolled up by Hyo for the Brats win.

This was quick but very fast paced and entertaining.

Kanjyouro Matsuyama & Ryo Saito vs. Kono Mama Ichikawa & Syachihoko Machine

Ryo comes out on his bicycle Matsuyama is really fat now and lots a bunch of hair. He gets out of Machine's waist lock. We then have Matsuyama and Stalker walk the top rope at the same time. They run into each other up there and Genki knocks Stalker over with paper butterfly toy while Matsuyama armdrags Machine. Machine spinning headscissors Matsuyama then Stalker back rolls into a spinning headscissors on Ryo. He can't keep it up though and drags his face across the mat.

Stalker pushes Matsuyama into Ryo then Ryo and Matsuyama argue. Stalker tries to spinning headscissors Ryo during this but he lets him down and ignores him. Stalker grabs an oversized japanese fan and Ryo hits Matsuyama with it. Ryo slaps him with it and Matsuyama tries to block the shots but is hit again. Stalker kancho's Ryo, which has a domino effect where Machine and Matsuyama are hit as well. Stalker then rolls up Ryo and Machine helps for a 2 count. Machine top rope moonsaults his partner then Matsuyama throws streamers at him. Matsuyama then chickenwing bombs Stalker and pins him by laying completely on top of him in a weird finish.

This was all comedy here.

Chuichiro Arai, Kenichiro Arai & Koichiro Arai vs Catcher Yoshida (Takashi Yoshida), First Shimizu (BIG BOSS Shimizu) & Second Doi

Doin running shoulders Shimizu multiple times during intros and pretends to hit him with the bat. All 6 wrestlers here are in baseball gear.

Yoshida wants to wrestle with a catcher's mitt on and body padding and it's allowed. Yoshida blocks a punch with his mitt then Koi tries to shoulder him over. Yoshida then shoulders him over. Shimizu also has a mitten on and he puts it over Chu's face. Chu hips him into the buckles and Shimizu shoulders him hard. Shimizu splashes Chu for 2 then Koi takes a casadora on Doi for 2. Ken then crabs Doi and Doi ropebreaks.

Doi takes falling headbutts to the chest and back for 2. Doi gets tripped by 2 people then avoids a 3 person falling headbutt. doi dropkicks Ken in the knee then Yoshida gets in. Yoshida back body drops Ken then hits throat thrusts on Chu and Koi. Doi trips Shimizu for some reason on a teop attempt then the three Arai's are splashed in the corner. Ken and Chu get torture racks then Doi rocking chair's Koi.

Ken is beaten up in the corner then Shimizu 2nd rope shoulders Ken. Koi enzugiri's Shimizu then shimizu takes a double suplex. Yoshida double lariats Koi and Chu. Doi hits a nice flipping senton on Koi then Yoshida sentons him for 2. Yoshida throat thrusts Doi and Yoshida poses with Koi. Doi's supposed to dropkick Koi but dropkicks Yoshida instead and Koi gets the win.

I have no idea why Doi kept hitting his partners and this was dumb comedy. 

Don Fuji vs Dragon Dia

Don skateboards to mock Dia and falls multiple times. Don shows off that the board has his picture on it. Dia hits him on the apron and asai moonsaults him. Fuji is down outside and struggles to get in. He eventually does and is stomped on. Dia chokes him with his knee then blocks Fuji's shots for his own punches. Dia then sleepers him. Dia running ssp's him. Dia runs at him, gets tripped and goes into the middle buckle. Fuji tries to pin him with his feet on the ropes. Fuji argues with the ref and is rolled up. Fuji then pushes him into the ref, hits him with the skateboard and rolls him up to win.

This was short and basically another comedy type of match.

SUWAcito, TARU & Ultimo Dragon vs Kongo (Hajime Ohara, Hi69 & Tadasuke)

UD gets slapped early by Ohara. UD flips out of a wristlock and sens him out. UD does a headstand into spinning headscissors on him and sends him out again. Ohara then takes a seat next to a fan. Suwa gets in and trades shots with 69. Suwa is then tripped into the ropes and dropkicked, then takes multiple elbow drops. Suwa is tied up in the ropes and has his face pulled on. Suwa is then double armlocked and posed on.

Suwa flying clotheslines Tadsuka ten Taru clotheslines Tadsuke. UD hits nice dropkicks on his opponents and is pulled off the apron on his asai moonsault attempt. UD gets beat up 1v3 then is put in a leg and arm hold by Ohara. Tadasuke and 69 get whipped into each other then Taru and Suwa do the star on them. Ultimo then hurricanrana's 69 in the middle of it. UD trips Ohara and Ohara blocks his la magistral for 2. UD then spin kicks and kick combos him before hitting the ultimo stunner for the win.

Just kind of a legends deal here with the heels taking over before the faces get their comeback and win.

M3K (Masaaki Mochizuki, Ryoto Mochizuki, Susumu Mochizuki & Yasushi Kanda) vs Aagan Iisou (Shogo Takagi, Shuji Kondo, Toru Owashi & YASSHI)

I believe this is Ryoto's debut. This is a revival of M2K, which is cool since I liked that faction.

M3K attacks during intros and Kondo shoulders him over. Ryoto fails to hiptoss Kondo and is thrown down. Ryoto hits kicks on Kondo and pumping knees him. Kondo then takes kicks from both Mochizuki's. Yasshi euros Susumu then is tied up and double facekicked by both. Ryoto gets choked by Yaashi and Aagan takes over. Ryoto gets stomped by 4 guys and Mocchy tries to save him but the stomping continues. He is then thrown out when he breaks it up again.

Ryoto goes down to a Toru chop and is kicked in the back. Toru stands on him and Ryoto is chopped down again. Yasshi grabs Ryoto by the crotch then does the same to Mocchy. Yasshi then grabs Susumu's crotch with his mouth. Jet hits punches on Kanda and drops him then does the same to Susumu and Mocchy. He tries to do it to Ryoto but is kicked down.

Mocchy and Ryoto double facekick their opponents in the corners then Toru double lariats them down. Toru gets double lariated then Yasshi takes a double exploder. Yasshi then takes running corner moves and kicks from Ryoto and Mocchy. Kondo flips Mocchy with a lariat then Ryoto takes running moves in the corner. Royto takes a sandwich lariat and enzugiri then Toru chokeslams him for 2. Kondo suplexes Ryoto for 2 and is facekicked by Mocchy. Susumu lariats Toru over then takes a blockbuster from Yasshi. More people get some signature moves in and Ryoto messes up a triangle enzugiri but hits it. Kanda hits a top rope elbow on Jet then Mocchy hits his twisting brainbuster on Jet and lets his son get the win.

Nothing wrong with this though it was pretty simple. No one really went too far out of their way and Ryoto took most of the bumps here.

Overall thoughts: Just kind of a legends show. Things were short and simple. It was a little odd at times though as they had wrestlers who appeared only in Toryumon and not Dragon Gate, plus had some people who had real loose affiliations.
