American Deathmatch Championship Match - Eric Ryan vs SHLAK
Shlak beats him with a barbed wire 2v4 then exploder suplexes him. Shlak pushes the wood into Eric's gut and hits headbutts. Shlak then olympic slams him for 2. Shlak armbars him then Shlak drops him backward into a barbed wire board. He then death valley drivers him into another barbed wire board to win this.
Eric's arm was in a cast and he wasn't 100% here. This was all squash.
Brandon Kirk vs AKIRA
Kirk gets backdropped over the top but lands on his feet then Akira jumps off the top onto him outside. Akira puts ice down the back of Kirk's back and kicks it. Akira hits him with tubes then a trash can lid. He then sticks a gusset plate in him and stomps it. Kirk then gets the plate in his head and Akira is stungunned on the chains. Akira then is backdropped onto tubes.
Kirk breaks a stack of tubes on Akira's head. Akira kicks a tube on his back then northern lights suplexes him off the chain ropes. Akira pours salt on his bloody head then punches it. Akira hits him with a small plastic tack bat. Akira then grabs a cheese grater but gets it on his head. They trade slaps and Akira uraken's him. Akira then germans him and hits an elevated reverse ddt to win it.
It was okay enough. Nothing great or anything but I didn't really have any problems with this.
Neil Diamond Cutter vs Satu Jinn
Neil charged at him at the bell and they trade slaps. Neil hits him with a plastic tack bat then breaks tubes on his head. Neil sentons him off the 2nd rope then scrapes his head with carpet strips. He then hits him in the head with it and they trade trash can lid shots. Neil gets thrown into a board with cut off cans then takes a symbol trash lid shot.
Jinn hits him with a butcher's knife on his head. Jinn then puts it in his mouth and death valley drivers him. Neil hits him with a small plastic firecracker bat then asai moonsaults him for 2. Neil then stands on his back and sentons tubes into his back. Neil then hits a top rope moonsault for 2. Neil breaks a stack of tubes on his back and misses a top rope frogsplash. Jinn breaks a pile of tubes on his head then uranage's him. Jinn then cannonballs glass into him for the win.
This was fine. Neil worked like a smaller underdog and got most of the offense in until Jinn took it home. It worked a little better here because it was a hardcore match than it would have without it.
Tommy Vendetta vs Bobby Beverly
They trade tube shots to start. Darren McCarty comes in and gives him a joint to smoke then he shares it with Bobby. They trade more tube shots then Tommy and Darren get backdropped. Darren picks up his joint right after then Tommy short piledrivers Bobby. The ref counts 3 and the match ends unexpectedly.
This was short, dumb and not good.
The Carver vs Krule
Krule comes out from the cornfields then Carver charges at him. They fight, knock over a table and Krule tries to stick his head into a firepit. Carver is thrown into chairs then Krule face kicks him into chairs. Carver gets facekicked off the apron then Krule topes him. Carver hits him with a cement block to the back then Krule tries to hit him in the head with it. Krule then picks up someone and throws him at Carver.
Carver stabs Krule in the hand with a spike and Krule has to pull it out. Krule then throws him through a door. Krule pounds on him then hits him with a tube over the back. Krule throws him into the chairs. Carver throws a glass pane at Krule then hits him with tubes. Carver pushes gusset plates into Krule's chest then throws a chair at him.
Carver chokes him with an axe then superplexes him through a bridged table. They trade punches. Krule chokeslams him on his knee then hits a reverse chokeslam. Carver gets thrown into the glass then takes a full nelson bomb for the Krule win.
I'm a big W*ING and IWA fan and seeing two slasher characters was right up my alley. The matchup was just really cool and I'd like to see them go at it more. The match wasn't bad, just it went longer than it needed to and the crowd was kind of a more casual crowd who didn't quite get into this like they would have at a normal venue.
American Deathmatch Championship - Joel Bateman vs John Wayne Murdoch
They have very tall light tubes out for this that are a little thinner and sturdier.
JWM throws a stack of tubes at him during his entrance. My feed cut out and I think both guys fell outside. Joel takes a popper bat shot then JWM hits himself and Joel with tubes. Joel then gets stabbed with a tube. JWM russian legsweeps him onto a box of tubes then hits him in the head with tubes. JWM is thrown into the tubes on the ropes.
They trade forearms and JWM flatliners him into a koji clutch. JWM hits him with a bunch of tubes in a row and the back of Joel's head is a bloody mess. Joel comes back with a tube nad grabbed the lighter fluid that JWM had. We have fireworks going on in the background then JWM sprays more lighter fluid on the doo. The door is then lit on fire adn JWM suplexes him through the door for 2. Joel headbutts a tube into him and hits some knees to the head and wins it.
The ending was rushed here. The flaming table spot should have finished the match and I didn't like JWM hitting himself in the head with a tube. The match didn't go too long and it had lots of blood and tube shots. I'm not sure how much I missed but I thought what we I did see was decent.
Overall thoughts: The show being done outside was cool, but outdoor arena's don't do as well with the sound and I think there were a lot of non-hardcore fans here. Carver/Krule and the main were some of the better matches on the show and while it wasn't a home run, I thought it was fine overall.
