Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/07/wwe-evolve-722025.html

Carver does a promo before his match. He says NIL talents think they can take food from his plate and live to tell about it. He said they cost him the Evolve Title and he's gonna take the whole NIL program out.

Keanu Carver vs Ice Williams

This is from a more recent set of tapings I think as KC is a lot more muscular and thinner than before.

Ice poses on the apron and KC nails him from behind. Ice hits punches as the bell rings then hits forearms. Ice sunset flips him for 2 then basement dropkicks him. Ice dropkicks him out. KC samoan drops him on the floor.

KC hits big punches in the corner then throws him by the neck. KC low running forearms him while he's seated for 2. Ice is thrown into the corner and goes upside down. Ice boots him off the ropes then KC hits a bodyblock/lariat. KC hits mounted forearms.

KC throws him on a reverse AA then does a traphezus hold to him. KC hits a big slam. Ice hits flying forearms then he flying lariats him. Ice 2nd rope flying elbows him in the back of the head. Ice superkicks him for 2. Ice misses a top rope elbow then KC pounces him. KC hits an enka otoshi variation and wins.

Thoughts: It went a little longer than it needed to and the crowd wasn't the best for it. KC won as expected here and looked big and bad in doing so.

KC stomps on Ice after. Timothy Thatcher comes out to help out Ice and trades words with KC.

Cappuccino Jones and Jack Cartwheel are interviewed. Jones says WWE was always the goal and wrestling in front of 30 people, but a WWE scout was one of those people. He said he was told it was time to be ready. Jack Cartwheel talks about doing the indies and wrestling around the world. Jones says he's gotten better as he can do bigger matches and is financially supported.

We see The Vanity Project talking at last week's Beyond Wrestling. Zayda says the fans get to be in the same room with them so it's an important night for the fans. Brad says history is being made as they have the first Evolve champ in Jackson Drake live. Drake says he's thinking about the LWO and Lince Dorado, who put their hands on him. Drake says it's The Project vs The LWO and Lince this week on Evolve. He says it will be them standing tall at the end.

Zara Zakher vs Kendal Grey

They bring out Zara saying she had nothing to do with the various locker room attacks. They lock up and roll on the ropes. KG accusses her of attacking her and Zara armdrags her. Zara rolls her up for 2 then shoulders her over. KG does fireman carry takeovers.

Zara is pulled down backwards by the arm. KG armlocks her and Zara hits upkicks. Zara hits a forearm and a lariat for 2. KG rolling armbars her. Zara dropkicks her and KG sunset flips her for 2. Zara backflips out of a lariat and is hit with a spinning olympic slam. KG pins her.

Thoughts
: The crowd was too quiet here and this one didn't get enough time. It could have been good if they let this one go.

Edris Enofe tries to talk to Stevie Turner in the back. She says she is headed to the ring. We then hear Aria Bennett I think get attacked. Stevie calls for medical. Zara and Kendal then walk in. Stevie asks if they saw what happened. Kendal says, "I guess it wasn't you" to Zara.

We get a general package on Evolve prospects.

Stevie Turner is in the ring. She says she's going to announce Evolve's newest signing and it's Dante Chen. Chen says he's here and is ready to join this talented and unique roster. He says he's sure people remember Ethan Page attacking him and injuring his ankle with the steps. He said all he could think of is coming back and here he is. He says the measuring stick of Evolve has arrived.

Edris Enofe comes out. Enofe says all of this ain't special. He says he was just like him a few weeks ago - welcomed as the newest signee and was getting title shots. He said now it seems like he's everyone else and he can't even get Stevie Turner's time. He asks what's so special about Dante. He says Chen isn't the face of Evolve and won't be. He says to enjoy being this week's shiny new toy as the EOE makes Evolve his domain. Chen says this isn't Enofe and he knows it. Enofe says this is him. He says he's sick of being ignored just to get walked on. Chen goes to talk and Enofe drops him with a punch.

Chuey Martinez interviews Layla Diggs. Chuey asks how she got from Fresno to Evolve. She said she applied and got asked to be on a documentary series (It was the one that aired on Tubi). She says she's shy but found her confidence and fierceness. She says she loves being here and continues to get better each week.

Chuey says her opponent Aria got injured Jin Tala interrupts. She says she will replace Aria and face Diggs next week. She says she wants to compete and Diggs tells her to bring her A-Game.

Tate Wilder does a video. He says he wants to live up to his family's legacy and keep fighting when he gets knocked down. He says this is a way for him to work his way up to NXT and Mania. He says to hop on board and buckle up as it will be a wild ride.

Lince Dorado talks to Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro. He says he has business to handle with Vanity Project. Wilde says they are too cocky and comfortable. Cruz says they talk about running evolve but they will change that next week. Wilde says it'll be Vanity vs Insanity.

We see Enofe and Jamar Hampton arguing. Enofe calls him a rookie. Enofe says he has a lot to learn and not to get in his face. Jamar tells him to teach him something and Enofe says he's not helping anyone no more.

Last Woman Standing Match - Wendy Choo vs Kylie Rae

Rae runs in at hits shots on Whoo. Choo fires back. Rae hits mounted forearms. Rae armdrags her and then headflips and superkicks her. Choo goes out and Rae topes her.

Rae pulls a table out. Choo clubs on her. Rae goes to the back and hits her with a trash can. Rae puts the trash can on Choo's head then hits it with a broom. She then superkicks the trash can.

Rae suplexes Choo in the ring. Rae misses a corner cannonball and goes into a trash can. Choo germans her. Choo handspring back elbows her and running kicks her in the corner. Rae is hung legs first over the 2nd rope. Choo ties her legs to the 2nd rope. Choo hits her with a trash can lid as she hangs upside down.

Choo hits her with a wrench in the gut. We go to break and return. They fight on the apron. Choo is pushed back first into a trash can between the buckles. Rae is trapped in the ring side and Choo headbutts her.

Rae sprays her with a fire extinguisher. Choo's head is banged off the steps. Rae cannonballs her against the steps. They trade shots in the ring. Rae la mistica drops her and does a crossface. Rae then uses the wrench tool for the crossface.

Choo lariats her with the tool. Choo stomps her. Choo pulls legos out of her pillow. Rae hits Choo with a teddy bear with a brick inside. Choo full-nelson slams her on the legos. Choo spears the pose when Rae moves. Choo gets on Rae's back on the apron and both fall through a table outside. The ref starts counting and Rae gets to feet before the 10 count to win.

Thoughts: It was a solid match with some nice spots here and the two doing what they were supposed to do. It was nothing you'd remember but I thought they did alright with it. The crowd brought it down some as they just weren't very loud when they could have really helped this one out. Rae won as expected here and I'd think this is the end of this feud for a bit.

Stevie Turner and Natalya talk in the back. Nat says that match was incredible. He says the Evolve division is so good and deep. Nat says she wants to be in Evolve to help build form the ground up. Stevie says there's no one better to guide this division than her. Nat says she wants a match with Kali Armstrong and asks for a selfie with Stevie.

Overall thoughts: There were only two matches here. The main was the best thing on here. It was your usual WWE hardcore match with no blood but I liked it.  Carver/Ice went a little longer than it needed to and Grey/Zara didn't really get enough time to be that great. We got a decent bit of hype for next week's matches with multiple things being set up. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall as it was okay enough and they did what they were supposed to. The crowd was subdued though and brought this down some.
