We are in Tampa, FL. Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect are the hosts. It's National Poison Prevention Week and Vince makes poison puns. Perfect says the camera doesn't lie and says Miss Elizabeth isn't the pure lady Macho thought she was. 

Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs Jimmy James

Bret side headlocks him then shoulders Jim over. Bret slams Jim and legdrops him. Roddy Piper does an inset promo. He says he pulls no punches, takes no dive and is too legit to quit. Bret russian legsweeps Jim then sharpshooters him. Jim then submits.

Thoughts: It was a short squash that didn't do much but get Bret a win and get Piper on TV for a few seconds.

WWF Update

Mean Gene Okerlund talks the WWF Super Wrestlemania video game. Wrestlemania VIII is on April 5th, 1992.

Gene talks about the Mania double main event. We see the wrestlers show up at some conference for it with Hulk coming in on a Wrestlemania bus. Hulk got into an argument with Sid there. Flair and Perfect arrived via limo as well.

Vince and Flair are at a cafe. Flair is reading a WWF magazine. Vince asks Flair who he thinks he is. Vince says Flair dug up dirt and says he did it solely just to break up a marriage. He says it's despicable. Flair says Vince is seeing the arrogance of a man who is on top of every aspect of life. He says Savage is trying to buy every WWF Magazine to prevent people from seeing the pictures of Flair and Liz. Flair shows a picture of them on a sofa watching an old ep of Tuesday Night Titans. We also see Flair play pool with Liz. Flair then wants to show a picture of them in a bed and Vince says we won't be doing that.

Flair then shows the pictures of him and Liz at the pool. Flair tells Liz to drop a dime if her tension builds up and to call him. Flair tells Macho that Liz was his before he was hers.

Papa Shango vs Lee Thomas

Papa's skull necklace has fire coming through the eye. We see clips of Pap introducing himself.

Lee's head is banged off the buckles and the skull is seriously on fire right now. Papa throws Lee into the buckles and corner splashes him. Papa slams Lee then elbow drops him. Papa shoulderbreakers Lee and wins.

Thoughts: It was a quick one. I was more interested by the skull being on fire than the match. Papa's shoulderbreaker looked good at least.

We see a Mean Gene interview with Macho Man at his home.  Macho is bothered. Gene asks what ware we supposed to think. macho gets fired up and says the allegations and photos are untrue. Macho then yells "untrue" in the camera.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney talks the 3/28/92 Boston Garden show with Macho vs Jake in a cage. The Nasty Boys do a promo on The Bushwhackers. Saggs says they are on the road to success and they are in the way. Saggs says they will step on those bugs and will beat them and hurt them. Knobbs says they are hungry and are coming after them. Knobbs says they are coming to kick butt.

The Bushwhackers do a promo. Butch talks about eating sardines and says they will make The Nasty Boys into little school boys. Butch says The Nasty's are going down.

El Matador vs Lee Armstrong

Two Lee's in a row eh? Lee backs up Tito in the corner. Tito hits punches then side headlocks him. Tito ducks a clothesline and hits a dropkick. Tito clotheslines him then hits a back body drop. Tito flying forearms Lee in the back of the head and wins.

Thoughts: It was another quick one here. Lee has done a bunch of jobs here and is one of the more entertaining ones they have.

Mean Gene interviews Jake Roberts somewhere. Gene asks if Jake is familiar with the inside of a casket. Jake says he always said he was on the other side of the fence. He says he will get what he wants at Mania.

Jake talks about his attack on Taker 2 weeks ago. He says slamming Taker's hand in the casket was fun. He says it felt good to hit Taker with chair shots. Taker says he will finish Taker when the time is right and that's at WM8. He says hitting him with the chair was child's play. He says he doesn't play and will crack Taker's skull the same way they would on National Geographic. He says he would take the gold if there was a medal for crushing baby seal's heads as that is a job that has to be done. He says will drive Taker's head through the mat then put him on a funeral fire. He says if Taker knows Satan so well, he won't mind burning in hell.

Thoughts: The WWF continues to get more raunchy and this was pretty raunchy for the time.

We see video of a prison. A man says he has done his time and his sentence is almost up. He says Boss Man will pay soon and he will be completely rehabilitated.

Thoughts: This is a promo for Nailz. Maybe he wasn't the greatest in the ring, but I like the story of a former prisoner trying to get even with Boss Man.

The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) vs Jim Cooper and Paul Simpson

The ND's are faces now as Jimmy Hart left them for Money Inc and passed their title shot over to Money Inc. without telling them.

Quake clubs Jim's back. Money Inc do an inset promo. IRS says they will find out they are business men. Ted says good business is where they get the belts and keep the money.

Quake slams Jim then elbow drops his back. Typhoon front facelock suplexes Jim then corner splashes him. Quake then splashes Ty's back. Paul takes a double shoulderblock. Quake then powerslams Jim. Quake butt drops Jim then Typhoon splashes Jim for the win.

Thoughts: It was all squash here with the jobbers getting squashed as expected. The ND's got some face pops during this.

Quake says they are coming for Money Inc. after.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney talks the 3/28/92 Boston Garden show. Jake Roberts do a promo with a cage. He says Macho might be miserable. He says Liz and Flair seem like a hot item around here. Jake says he saw the photos and said Macho didn't see all of them yet. Jake says there's no way out in the cage and one will do it until the other drops. Jake says he needs to get Taker too but will be satisfied with Macho. He says, "but will Liz?" and says no.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage does a promo behind a cage. He says desperate people do desperate things. He says he invites Jake into the cage as they have conflicting histories. He says Flair and Jake are both under his skin. He says it'll be his therapy. He says he's imagining that he will wrestle both. He says he will be devastating and desperate.

Wrestlemania VIII Report

Mean Gene says we are 3 weeks away from Mania. Sid Justice does a promo with Harvey Wippleman. Harv says Hulk wanted him and got him. Sid says Hulk has the feeling of fear and has to prove that he's not a coward.  He says he will put his hands around his throat, lift him and drive him into the ground. He says Hulk will say Sid rules the world.

Hulk Hogan does a promo. He says 3 weeks away is like an eternity. He says WM8 is day Hulkamania lives forever or dies. He says everything Sid has done since he got into the WWF has been a cowardly act. Hulk says he will pay Sid a visit at Mania and asks what he will do when h runs wild on him.

Gene says an 8-man has been signed between Duggan, Boss Man, Virgil and Sgt. Slaughter vs The Mountie, The Nasty Boys and The Repo Man. He runs down the rest of the card so far.

Paul Bearer and The Undertaker do a promo. Paul says the clock on his embalming room wall is ticking down. He says it's only 3 weeks away until Mania. Taker says Jake came to them asking for the secrets of the dark side. He says what Jake learned, he tried to use for his personal gain. Taker says the running is over and he meets the reaper at Mania.

Gene talks about the rest of the card. He says Reba McIntyre will sing the national anthem at WM8.

Sid Justice vs Dale Wolfe

Harvey Wippleman comes out ahead of Sid and says nobody announces Sid but him. He says he wants the idiot fans to show respect to the man who rules the world.

Sid knees Dale in the gut and throws him out. Harv puts his cigar ashes on Dale. Sid chairs Dale then pulls on his mouth. Sid hits a spinebuster on Dale. Sid then wins with a powerbomb.

Thoughts: This was bogus. Sid chaired Dale in front of the ref and the ref didn't care. Sid won easily otherwise.

Harvey checks on Dale after and they do the sign of the cross. Dale is put on a stretcher. Sid puts a "Call 911" sign on him and a Hulk bandana. Sid then lariats Dale and flips him off the stretcher. Virgil and a jobber come out to help Dale. Harv blows smoke at Virg. Sid double axe handles Virg from behind.

Sid throws Virg in the ring. Virg hits a shot to the gut then takes a knee lift. Sid chokeslams Virg. The top rope buckle is pulled off and Virg's head is banged off the exposed buckle. Sid kicks Virg out of the ring. Sid then says he rules the world.  

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney talks the 3/28/92 Boston Garden show. Bret Hart does a promo. He says sometimes things in life just don't matter anymore. He says losing the IC Title to Mountie was the worst day of his life. Bret says he's back on track and is hunting Mountie. He says he will find him and settle the score. He then says he will regain the WWF Intercontinental Title.

The Mountie and Jimmy Hart do a promo. Mountie says he doesn't believe in destiny, he makes it and it will start with Bret.

Vince and Perfect talk about next week's show. 

Overall thoughts: It was pretty light on the wrestling as usual as we had all squashes. The jobber should have won in the Sid squash but the reffing was awful. We got Flair talking about his affair with Liz here and a small reaction from Macho about it. We got a video from Nailz for the first time, though we didn't see him. We also got Jake hyping up his match with Taker and Sid beating the crap out of Virgil after his match. All of the focus is on Wrestlemania VIII right now as it is only 3 weeks away. The card is set and I wouldn't expect too many more developments for a few weeks. I wouldn't recommend this one as there is nothing must see here.
