Thoughts: It was your usual opener and not too much of note. The end stretch was okay here. I was a little surprised to see Rising lose over Tomoya, since Tomoya isn't an AJPW guy.

Ren hits a neckbreaker then Mike hits superkicks. Ren does multiple jumps on the ropes then hits an os cutter to win.
Thoughts: I wasn't a fan. They went outside and didn't do much of note to start things off. Ren took a suplex on the apron and floor and was up and fine not too long after and then it ended way before it should have.

Omori rolls out of a wristlock and reverses it. Yuma side headlock takeovers him and Omori headscissors him. Omori clean breaks him and blows a kiss. Yuma then pretends to get sick from it.

Yuma blocks a sunset flip then takes a dragon suplex. Yuma no sells it and Omori cradles him off a flying headscissors to win.
Thoughts: The first section of this was all goofing around. It got a little better in the 2nd half but there was a lot of no selling despite them showing some chemistry together. Yuma needed some personality for the longest time and now that he has it, he uses it to do comedy instead of improving his matches. I thought it was about average overall due to the comedy.
Davey Boy Smith Jr., Kento Miyahara & Taishin Nagao vs. Atsuki Aoyagi, Hideki Suzuki & Jun Saito

Jun is whipped into a Davey powerslam inside. Nagao top rope dropkicks Jun then slams him for 2. Jun hits a big slam on Nagao for 2. Jun jackhammers Nagao and wins.
Thoughts: It was a decent tag mostly due to Nagao. Like they have done before, they let him get a bunch of shine in here which worked since he was the underdog. He didn't do the best he could have but it was enough. He also busted out the 619 and plancha which I don't know if I've seen him do before. This worked. They turned what could have been a nothing match into something fun.
Jun's team then poses on Nagao after with one of the sponsor's and the winner's prize.
Champion Carnival 2025 Block B Match - Ryuki Honda vs. Madoka Kikuta
They trade forearms to start. MK hits chops and Honda shoulders him over. Honda stomps on him then kneels on his neck on the 2nd rope. MK stalls outside and they trade forearms there. MK kneels on Honda's neck on a chair. MK presses his butt in Honda's face in the corner then chops him.

Thoughts: It was what you would expect with tons of lariats and forearms him. They did a good job with it but there was some no selling and they oversold a little by the end. It wasn't the best possible match they could have done but it was what you would generally hope for out of these two.
Champion Carnival 2025 Block B Match - Rei Saito vs. Yuma Anzai
They lock up. Rei backs him up on the ropes and shoves him. Yuma forearms him off the break. They trade forearms for chops. Yuma dropkicks him. Rei then shoulders him over. They trade shots outside and go into the seats. Rei chokes him with a towel. Rei then shoves another towel in Yuma's face.

Yuma hits a german then takes a backdrop. Yuma backrolls him for 2 then Rei slaps him. Rei catches Yuma's flying knee then powerbombs him for 2. Rei hits a palm strike and flips him with it for the win.
Thoughts: It was a good match here with Yuma being the underdog vs the bigger Rei. Yuma did his athletic moves here and Rei was happy to pound on him and use his power against him. This worked out well.
Rei talks on the mic after. Hideki Suzuki comes out and has words for him then Ryuki Honda comes out and has words for both of them. Kento Miyahara then comes out and has words for everyone. Rei then greets the crowd before leaving.
Overall thoughts: I'd give it a 6 out of 10. I liked the top 3 matches, the opener was acceptable and Yuma/Omori showed some flashes. There was nothing you really had to see here but it was good enough in total. The main was my favorite match of the night.
