Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/07/aew-collision-752025-collision-100.html

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and brings out The Outrunners and FTR for a meeting in the ring. Stokeley Hathaway says FTR should be competing for the tag titles.  Stoke asks what happened with The Runners. Cash wants to know what they did to offend them. Cash says before they throw it all away, think about the mentorship and training sessions they gave them.

Cash says he has a present for them and we see some of The Runners and FTR's moments together. Dax says they were family but jealousy reared it's ugly head. He said maybe they realized FTR has a higher ceiling. He says they got an opportunity to become tag champs and he says they lost. He says the people aren't laughing with them, they are laughing at them.

Dax says the people will turn on The Runners like they did them. He says their shtick will make them a lot of money but not FTR money. He says they will never be FTR good.

Truth says maybe Dax is right and maybe they aren't everyone's cup of tea. He says maybe they like to have fun sometimes. He says maybe they came up short against The Hurt's. He says there's one thing they are wrong about. He says he'll be d@mned if these people ever stop believing in The Outrunners. Turbo says their biggest mistake was believing in FTR. He says they were put on this earth to wrestle and entertain and now to whoop FTR's @ss.

FTR head back to the ring but Stoke has them back off. Stoke says FTR doesn't fight for free. He says they can fight next week though.

Bill black hole slams Nick. CC and Nick are sent into each other. CC is thrown over the top. BK lariats Nick then exploders him for 2. Bill grabs Kip Sabian outside and throws him over the timekeeper's rail.
BK pulls Nick into a knee to the face. BK sitout powerbombs Nick but the ref doesn't count as Mother Wayne distracts him. Bill misses a splash against the post and goes into it. Nick is on the 2nd rope and BK headbutts him. BK goes for a powerbomb and CC spears BK. Nick high kicks BK for the win.

Thoughts: It was a bit weird as CC's team were heels and Bill/BK weren't exactly faces. I would have liked for it to be a little faster but it was an acceptable opener.

Josh Alexander is interviewed. He said he gets the burden of being a fighting champ tonight. He says him and Cole are no strangers to each other. He said Cole issued an open challenge and he's here to answer. He says Cole has a bad ankle and isn't walking out with the TNT title or walking out period.

The Patriarchy run into MVP in the back. MVP says it was an impressive debut. He said he heard what CC said about becoming the first father and son tag champs. MVP says Nick is still a kid and says don't try to challenge The Hurt's. CC asks if he's trying to convince himself or them. CC said he always lives by the rule not to trust a criminal. He said he's a better criminal than a manager. CC says he runs AEW and if he wants the tag titles, they are his. MVP says good luck, because you'll need it.

Templario and Brody King vs Rocky Romero and Hechicero

Temp armdrags Hech then is shouldered over. Temp tilt-a-whirl armdrags Hech. Temp headscissors Hech from his shoulders. Hech step up knees Hech.

Temp rope walks and double stomps Hech, who is hanging from BK's back. BK lariats Hech over the top.

Temp flying space tigers Hech then BK over the shoulder piledrivers Rocky to win.

Thoughts: This was about as random as it gets. It didn't quite live up to its potential but it was watchable. This could have used a faster pace.

We get a video on Mone then Toni. Mone ends up destroying the film player that Toni's video is on with a baseball bat. She says Toni is just an act and a mark. Mone swears and gets bleeped out. She says this is her movie and it's her story. She says it's about what she came to AEW to do. She says if it's a death scentence Toni wants, it'll be one she wrote. She says she will walk all over Toni's face at All In. She says she hopes Toni watches her next week so she can see a preview of the beating she will get.

We go to break and return. Luther, Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa do a promo. Toni says these are the types of games Mone wants to play. She makes sexual references.  Mine says she knows Toni is angry. She tells Toni not to get involved in her match with Mone next week and makes her promise.

Thoughts: It was all squash like usual and it wasn't much of note.

Josh and Cole fight on the buckles. Cole hits a panama sunrise for 2. Josh ankle locks Cole. Josh germans him. Cole hits superkicks then hits the bomb knee for the win.

Thoughts: I didn't think it was that good and didn't like the panama sunrise being meaningless. Thankfully, it didn't go too long so Cole couldn't really go crazy here.

Ricochet talks to AR Fox outside. AR asks why he left him. The Gates of Agony then jump AR and send him into the fence several times. Ricochet then says, "let's talk".

We go to PiP break and return. Queen running facekicks Skye in the corner for 2. Skye cradles her for 2. Skye hits a knee to the face then TKO's her for 2. Queen headbutts her in the chest then bangs Skye's head off her butt. Queen running knees her and Skye rolls out.

Skye sends Queen's face into the steps. Skye top rope diving double knees Queen outside. Queen blocks code blue. Skye is tripped into the 2nd rope then Queen running knees her against the ropes. Queen then pins Skye.

Thoughts: I don't get having Skye lose at all here. It wasn't that good with Skye having some sloppy moments here.

Julia Hart gets in the ring and stares down Queen. Thekla then comes out. Thekla comes into the ring. Skye nails Queen from behind then Thek and Hart join in. Anna Jay and Tay Melo then come out to save Queen and the heels run.Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford then come out and stare at the two groups.

Daniel Garcia and Matt Menard are interviewed. Rocky Romero comes in. He says if The Don Callis Family has no problem with Garcia. KF superkicks KOR outside then running facekicks him. KOR running dropkicks KF into the rails outside. Lance Archer comes out. KOR hits a running knee on him then is facekicked. KF michinoku drivers KOR for 2. KF running facekicks him and KOR cradles him for 2. KF brainbusters KOR and wins.

Thoughts:
The crowd was making noise the whole time here and was chanting silly things. They chanted "Kyle" several times and I think they chanted, "We Kyle People". I don't know if it's because they loved it or were just bored. It was all strike based and Fletcher never really go to no sell things which was good. It was definitely more along the lines of O'Reilly's usual match than Fletcher's. It was more watchable than I expected but I didn't love it. Fletcher won as expected here.

Paragon come out to help O'Reilly after while Fletcher and Lance beat him. Lance and Fletcher then runs.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual Collision with most of the matches being random affairs without a lot of star power. We got a rare Christian match in this one. The first two matches were okay. Megan Bayne won a quick squash. I didn't care that much for Cole/Alexander and Aminata/Skye wasn't that good. The main was one of the more tolerable Fletcher matches and the crowd was in a mood for it. I'd give it 5 out of 10 as it was little but wrestling and it was a show you could easily skip. I wouldn't recommend this one.
