Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary. 

The Culling come out. Tatum says she did it. She says she will finally get her 1v1 shot at the NXT Women's Title. She said it's been 4 years. She says the fans saw her lose her friends and be alone. She says it's so fitting she gets her shot at Halloween Havoc. She says she couldn't be happier. She says she promises to bring gold home and says The Culling has her back so she will be champ.

Fatal Influence come out. Jacy asks if Izzi will tell Tatum or she will make her do it. She says Tatum stands no chance on Saturday. She says she wants to prove that when it matters most, you can't beat her. She asks if it's different because she has the support of the losers. She says Tatum is barely average and should have let Izzi win the battle royal as atleast she would stand a shot.

Tatum says Jacy should know how she's feeling as it took her a long time to get where she is. She says people expect her to do it again. She says she has kept getting better. She says it's her time to become women's champ on Saturday. Fallon says Tatum is riled up and it'll be sweeter when she loses.

Jacy says Izzi isn't a leader and Izzi says she's in control of her group. She says her friends are happy for her and asks if Jacy can say the same. They all end up fighting and The Culling gets the edge. Fatal Influence leaves.

Thoughts: It was a nice segment that helped get Tatum over as a face and made her look good.

Stacks and Arianna Grace talk. Stacks asks her to come to the ring and help launch their relationship with an X-Division Title.

Leon Slater and Je'Von Evans see that and call it nasty. Leon says he wants opponents for Halloween Havoc. Evans says Leon needs to focus on the X-Title. Evans says they should focus on Halloween Havoc after he beats Stacks.

TNA X-Division Title - Leon Slater (c) vs Stacks

Leon backs him up on the ropes and is hit with a back elbow. Leon armdrags out of a wristlock then htis another. Stacks takes a monkey flip. Leon's head is banged off the buckles and he is hit with punches. Stacks his euros. 

Leon boots him out of the corner and hurricanrana's him. Leon rewind kicks him then handspring back elbows him. Leon plancha's him outside then dances with Je'Von Evans. Evans then grabs the headset and says we will go to break.

We go to break and return. Leon hurricanrana's him for 2. Leon is hit with a slingshot suplex then Stacks hits a knee curbstomp for 2. Stacks hits some odd drop on Leon's gut. Stacks fireman's carry gutbusters him for 2.  

Leon hits utopia. Leon handsprings and knocks Arianna Grace off the apron. Evans catches Grace. Stacks goes after Evans then sends Leon into the commentary table.

Leon top rope crossbodies him. Leon leg lariats him then facekicks him. Stacks is sent out. Leon corkscrew dives over the post onto Stacks. Leon hits a swanton 450 and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. Leon and Stacks were not on the same page at all and had a bunch of rough looking moments here. 

Evans gets on the mic after. He says he wants to go to Halloween Havoc and says he wants to team with him. Mr. Iguana comes out with La Parka III. Iguana asks if they were planning on having Halloween Havoc without them. Iguana says it should be them vs Leon and Evans. 

Zachary Wentz says the Speed Title is meant for him. He says smoke 'em if you got 'em at Jasper Troy and says he got em. Troy says when he catches him, he will destroy him and the title is his. 

Speed Tournament Quarterfinals - Zachary Wentz vs Jasper Troy

Los Americanos of Ryo and Bravo are in the crowd. Troy wristlocks him. Zack flips out and Troy blocks the armdrag. Wentz superkicks him and 2nd rope hurricanrana's him. Wentz superkicks him then double stomps his back. Wentz crossbodies Troy over the top to the floor. Wentz's tope is caught and he tornillos Troy outside.

Wentz top rope swantons him for 2. Troy knocks him over then black hole slams him to win at 2:04.

Thoughts: It was a quick one. They did the flyer vs big guy story and did okay with it but they didn't have a ton of time here.

Lola Vice, Kali Armstrong and someone else kick Kelani Jordan out of the locker room for choosing team TNA. Jordynne Grace sticks up for her. Jaida Parker then dumps more of Kelani's stuff out. Grace says she was in her position and says she had one title defense. Kelani gets mad and says Grace is jealous of her because she has something she once held.  

Dark State do a promo. They say The Hardy Boyz aren't just moving past them and found out when they got laid out last week. They ay they will take the tag titles at Halloween Havoc. The Hardy's then cut in through the feed. Matt says they didn't catch them off guard. They say they knew they weren't going away and knew they would come. Matt makes broken references and they go into the Lake of Reincarnation. A piano then plays and The Hardy's come out looking different. Matt says Darkstate they woke them. Jeff says they will fight in a Broken Rules match. Matt says anything is possible and anything goes. Matt says they will face deletion and they do the delete gesture.

Sol Ruca has a cane in the back with Zaria. Zaria asks if she wants to do this and Sol says yes.

Ava is in the ring with Zaria and Sol Ruca. Sol says she got injured on Smackdown against Flair and Bliss. She says injuries are part of the game. She says she is not cleared and doesn't know when she will be cleared. Sol says she will earn her title back.

Blake Monroe comes out. She says Sol doesn't have to worry about the N-A title as she is right here. She says she should be the champ since Sol can't be cleared. Zaria says Blake doesn't deserve to be given a title. Zaria says she can defend Sol's title against Blake at Halloween Havoc. Blake complains. Ava says it's unconventional but it's a good idea. Ava says it's up to Sol. Sol says she fought hard for the title but there is no one she trusts more than Zaria. Ava then sets up Blake Monroe vs Zaria for the North American Title at Halloween Havoc. Blake gets mad and Zar F-5's her.

Thoughts: Yeah this was a weird decision and doesn't work. They should have just vacated the title and had the match for it.

Axiom says today is about Sean Legacy. He says he's impressed by him but it'll be a different realm of speed when Sean faces him. Sean says he likes his chances in this style of match and wants to bring the title to Evolve. He says he wants to make the Speed title "Super".

We see hidden video of Myles Borne and Tavion Heights talking. Born says he beat King, made Team NXT then got eliminated first. Tav said he thought he had Page's number and fell short. Josh Briggs comes in and says there's 2 grown men crying. He says if they are trying to be successful, it'll be a long time. Briggs says there's only room for one at the top and it's not either of them.

Speed Tournament Quarterfinals - Axiom vs Sean Legacy

Ax misses a dropkick. Sean dropkicks him. Sean shiranui's him for 2. Ax half-nelson suplexes him and hits a shining wizard for 2. Sean 2nd rope moonsaults then lifting spinning reverse ddt's him for 2. Sean springboard 450's into Ax, who goes for a hold. Ax triangles him.

Ax enzugiri's him. Sean hits a standing spanish fly. Sean superkicks him then Ax flying knees him. Sean hits a big forearm. Ax top rope spanish flies him and wins at 2:57.

Thoughts: It was a quick one and a bit rushed. They did what they could with it but the time just limited things so much. Ax won as expected.

Ethan Page talks about El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. He says it's a Day of the Dead match at Halloween Havoc. He says he knows he's in for a fight with him. He says they are fighting for something more important than his mask - the NA Title. He says his dad couldn't touch him during his prime. We then see Page with facepaint on half of his face. He says he will left dead in the desert.

Hank and Tank vs OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucian Price)

The faces attack the heels on the floor. The faces hit stereo topes on opposite sides of the wing. The match then officially starts. Price takes corner splashes from the faces, a bulldog and senton. Hank's head is banged off the apron. OTM stomp Hank. Nima pushes Hank's face into the buckles.

Nima single leg M. Bison stomps Hank. Hank is hit with a corner lariat. Tank gets in and knocks over the heels. He cartwheels into a lariat on Price. Tank atomic drops Nima then 2nd rope flying shouldersh im for 2. Price uranage's Hank.

Tank pumping knees Price. Nima tilt-a-whirl slams Tank. Tank is lifted for a spinebuster and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a short one here. OTM did their usual brawling. Hank and Tank had quick offense here. It was fine. OTM thankfully got the win to get some momentum going.

Nima hits Hank with the steps after. Tank takes a t-gimmick through the commentary table.

Wren Sinclair is on the phone. Lash complains then Wren says bye to Charlie Dempsey on the phone. Wren says Dempsey hasn't been himself and says he wants NQCC to have a feminine flair when Dempsey returns. Kendal Grey comes in. She says she won't Lash push around Wren. Lash threatens to send her to Evolve and calls her a little girl. She then tells her to watch it. 

The Culling (Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley) vs Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne and Lainey Reid)

LR knees and punches Tatum. They chop each other. LR double knees her out of the corner and misses an elbow drop. Tatum bangs LR's face off her knee. Tatum and Jacy trade forearms. Jacy flying headscissors her. Tatum double underhook suplexes her then crossbodies her in the corner. Izzi holds Tatum there against Jacy.

Izzi slams Jacy then poses on her. Jacy armdrags Izzi off a hiptoss attempt and back elbows her. LR boots Izzi then is hit with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Izzi corner spears LR. Tatum standing elbow drops LR. Tatum does a dropkick + armwhip combo on 2 opponents and dropkicks Fallon through the ropes. Jacy holds Tatum's leg and LR bridging neckbreakers Tatum.

We go to break and return. Tatum high kicks LR and LR trips over her. Izzi and Jacy get in. Izzi hits shots on her then facekicks LR. Izzi backsplashes both opponents in the corner then diving codebreakers both together. Izzi chokeslams Jacy for 2.

Jacy ddt's Izzi. Jacy superkicks Tatum Tatum hits a rolling wrist-clutch full-nelson driver. Izzi lariats LR. Jacy and Tatum trade. Tatum rolls her up for 2. Tatum step up enzugiri's her. Fallon gets on the ropes and Izzi nails her. Jacy spinning forearms Tatum down and wins.

Thoughts: They had some really creative offense here but also some sloppy moments. Tatum's rolling wrist-clutch full-nelson driver was a new one and her dropkick + armdrag combo was neat. Lainey didn't have a great night here.

The heels stomp Izzi outside after. The heels go for Tatum. Tatum is held up but fights off a 3v1. Tatum hits a tequila shot and takes all the heels out.

Ava is in the ring for a contract signing ceremony between Trick Williams and Ricky Saints. Trick says he does things on his time. He says that's why he's the main event. Trick says he's still the man in NXT. Trick says he will do what's best for him and become a 3x NXT champ. 

Ricky says he is emotion and knows who he is. He asks if we can say the same about Trick. He says Trick thought he was bigger than the title. He says Trick didn't grind. Trick says he doesn't want to work the indies and is Hollywood. He says he doesn't see a champ in Ricky, he sees a cosplayer. He says no one can replace him and says Ricky can only be his stand-in. He says he will whip him and win the title. He says the Absolute Era will be absolutely over. 

Ricky says Trick would have folded from all the stuff he went through. He says he's the blueprint and Trick wants to be like him. Ricky says he's the face of NXT and says he's locked in while Trick is locked out. They get in each other's faces. Security tries to stop them but a fight breaks out when Trick hits Ricky. Ricky F-5's Trick through a table. 

Thoughts: I thought this was a really good segment. Like I say a lot lately, I wish it was done sooner because more of this really would have really helped out the hype for their match. This was the best Ricky came off since he debuted with the company. 

Overall thoughts: We had some good non-wrestling segments here with the main event segment being good and Tatum also doing a good job in her promo segment. The wrestling wasn't the best though as we had a lot of rushed stuff and most of the wrestlers were just a step off. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 mostly for the two good promo segments here which sold me on Halloween Havoc. I'd check those out but not much else here. The show was just alright overall.
