WWE Crown Jewel Perth 2025 10/11/2025

We are in Perth, Australia. This aired at 8am, which is the earliest airing WWE PLE ever in the US. Possibly, the earliest airing WWE ever show in the US. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We get the Crown Jewel Title traveling video we got last night.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

We get a Rhea Ripley narrated video on WWE. 

Australian Street Fight - Roman Reigns vs Bronson Reed 

They stare down and trade shots. Reed's head is banged off the buckles. Roman hits mounted corner punches. Reed is lariated over the top. Roman drive by dropkicks him outside then uppercuts him over the rail. Roman throws a PRIME bottle at him then sends him into the rails. Roman hits him with a trash can in the crowd.

Roman hits Reed with a cricket bat. Reed bodyblocks him and headbutts him. Reed is pushed into the post then Roman hits him with the kendo stick. Roman gets on the mic and says to acknowledge him if you want tables. 

Reed hits him from behind while he goes for a table. Roman is then sent into the steps. Reed rams him with the steps. Reed chairs him in the gut and back. Reed pushes the chair into his gut. Roman samoan drops him through an open chair for 2. Roman hits lariats on the ropes. 

Roman flying lariats him. Reed death valley drivers him for 2. Reed hits him with a stop sign. Reed uranages him onto the stop sign for 2. Reed misses a senton. Reed charges into a chair when Roman moves. Roman superman punches him for 2. Roman goes for a spear and Reed rolls out. 

Roman runs at him around ringside then Bron Breakker comes out and spears Roman on the floor. Reed then powerbombs Roman through the commentary table. The Uso's then come out. They double superkick Bron then hit shots on Reed. They then double superkick him. 

Bron takes superkicks. The Uso's hit stereo corner hip attacks. Bron takes a 3D. Bron gorilla press gutbusters Jey. Bron spears Jimmy through the rail. Reed gets hit by 2 superman punches from Roman. Roman superman punches Bron off the apron. Jey spears Roman through a table in the corner when Reed moves. Bron spears Jey. Reed top rope splashes Roman and pins him.

Thoughts: The match was fine but it might as well have been a 6-man tag for all the shenanigans that happened. I was surprised to see Roman lose here though it wasn't clean. Jey costing Roman the match will definitely continue whatever they are doing with Jey/Jimmy/Roman not being on the same page. This was mostly weapons shots and brawling.

Roman stares menacingly at The Uso's after. He says the whole world thinks he can't do sh!t on his own. Roman says he wanted them to be there for him but it's not the old times. He says it only works one way. He says he loves them but he doesn't want to see their faces. Jey says they were just trying to help. Jey says Roman will always do him and will always be him. 

WWE Women's Crown Jewel Title - Stephanie Vaquer vs Tiffany Stratton 

I'm really curious to see who wins this one. I think it'll be really telling to see which girl WWE likes more.

They lock up. SV waistlock takedowns her and front facelocks her. tiff wristlocks her. SV hammerlocks her. Tiff side headlocks her. SV works the arm and throws her over by it. Tiff cartwheels out and SV headscissors her into a roll up for 2. Tiff sunset flips her for 1.  They then stand off.

Tiff goes up and over then misses a cartwheel backflip back elbow. SV hits facewash kicks. SV superkicks her for 2. SV legdrops her for 2. SV boots her head around then stomps her arm into the mat. SV does a standing STF Tiff backdrops her.

Tiff handspring backflip back elbows her. TIff then cartwheel alabama slams her for 2. SV dragon screws Tiff while she's on the 2nd rope. SV corner meteora's her for 2. Tiff is headbutted. Tiff does a suplex into a backbreaker for 2. SV backdrops her. Tiff running boots her for 2.

SV blocks a swanton with her knees. SV hits a devil's kiss. SV hits an SVB for 2. Tiff finlay rolls her and misses a double jgump moonsault. SV hits a skytwister press and wins.

Thoughts: It was a shorter match with no goofing around. They kept things moving here and it was full of action. There wasn't any great story or logic to it but action wise it was entertaining. I thought it worked out pretty well and I thought it was good. I have to imagine this Vaquer megapush is not sitting well with a lot of the girls backstage though.

Triple H comes in, hugs SV and gives her the Crown Jewel Title and ring. 

SV is interviewed in the ring after. She says they made history together. She says this is a beautiful title and represents the love the fans give her. She says she's the WWE Women's champ and the Crown Jewel champ.

The Bron's talk in the back. Bron says Reed beat Roman when no one could beat him for many years. Paul Heyman congratulates Reed and says the tribal thief over the tribal chief. He says when they talk about the future vision of this industry, they talk about both of them. Paul says if Seth flails his arms in the ring and begs for help tonight, don't help. He says it's a meritocracy and says we will find out who is better. Bron asks what happens if Seth loses and Paul says he thinks they both know the answer to that.

John Cena vs AJ Styles

Cena gets an extended intro and a "Thank You, Cena" chant. AJ is wearing his old gear here They bring up TNA and say he's the ace of The Bullet Club. 

AJ side headlocks him. AJ avoids an armdrag. AJ armdrags and dropkicks him. We get a "TNA" chant. Cena backs him up in the corner and taunts him. AJ corner flying lariats him then low diving forearms him for 2. AJ then does it twice more for 2 counts. 

Cena running lariats him and both go down. Cena hits shoulders. AJ hits strikes and takes a blue thunder. AJ enzugiri's him then Cena blue thunders him. Cena hits a five knuckle shuffle and then an AA for 2. AJ ushigoroshi's him. Cena hits a skull crushing finale for 2. 

AJ spinning torture rack drops Cena. AJ reverse ddt's him for 2. AJ goes for the styles clash but Cena turns it into an STFU. AJ crossfaces Cena. AJ then camel clutches him and they say it's a callback to Rusev. They then say AJ is doing Samoa Joe's kokina clutch move. Joe then does a walls of Jericho.

AJ calf crushers him then Cena does an STFU. AJ hits a styles clash for 2. Cena catches a springboard and does a sister abigail for 2. The fans they hold up their phone lights and sing Bray's "Whole World in his Hands" song. AJ hits an angel's wings for 2.

They trade shots in the middle of the ring. AJ hits deadeye. Cena hits a draping ddt ala Orton. Cena then hits an RKO for 2. AJ hits an AA. AJ goes for a five knuckle shuffle then is chokeslammed for 2. AJ kind of does a springboard 450 knee on Cena. AJ superkicks him for 2. AJ springboard forearms him for 2.

Cena hits an AA on AJ for 2. Cena catches AJ off the 2nd rope and tombstones him. Cena AA's him. Cena wins.

Thoughts: I hated it. It was the usual Cena finisher spam he's doing during this run and they traded endless finishers from other wrestlers that meant nothing. This came off like a parody at times.

Cena raises his hand after and they hug.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane)

The Warriors attack at the bell. Rhea is thrown out. Rhea comes back in and dropkicks Asuka. Asuka bangs Rhea's head off the post. Asuka and Iyo stand off. Iyo trips her and basement dropkicks her. Iyo stomps on Asuka then hits forearms. 

Asuka hits a big forearm on Iyo then Iyo headbutts her. Asuka back elbows her then Iyo dropkicks her. Iyo chops her on the ropes then Asuka slides out. Iyo topes her. Iyo forearms Sane then has her head banged off the post. Asuka drops Iyo with a high kick.

Iyo gets in and is stomped on by Asuka. Sane hanging headscissors Iyo over the top rope. Sane top rope diving forearms Iyo. Sane chops Iyo on the ropes. Asuka stands on Iyo's neck and piefaces her. She slaps her and hits kicks to the back. Sane kicks Iyo over the 2nd rope.

Iyo boots Asuka out of the corner. Sane stops Iyo from making a tag. Sane headhunters Iyo then stomps her with Asuka. Iyo fights off the heels. Sane and Asuka hit uraken's on Iyo. Iyo is put in tree of woe and Sane top rope double stomps her for 2.  

Asuka hits chest kicks on Iyo. Asuka slaps her and Iyo fires up. Asuka spin kicks her in the gut. Iyo flapjacks her. Rhea comes in and hits lariats on Sane. She bangs Sane's head off her knee then lariats her. Rhea low head kicks Sane for 2. Sane urakens her then headscissors her off the ropes. 

Asuka sliding kicks Rhea for 2. Rhea running boots Sane. Sane takes a razor's edge then Iyo top rope dropkicks Sane for 2. Sane alabama slams Iyo. Sane is on the 2nd rope and Iyo armdrags her down. Iyo is stopped while up. Asuka distracts Rhea and Sane baseball slides Rhea. Rhea is sent into the steps.

Iyo asai moonsauls Asuka and Sane together. Iyo corner meteora's Sane. Iyo top rope moonsaults Sane for 2. Rhea superkicks Asuka. Iyo goes up top and Asuka trips her up there. Sane rolls up Rhea for 2. Rhea headbutts her in the chest.

Asuka is tagged in. She urakens and headkicks Rhea. Sane top rope elbow drops Rhea for 2. Sane enzugiri's Iyo. Iyo top rope dropkicks Asuka. Asuka and Rhea trade forearms. Asuka backslides her for 2. Rhea superkicks her then bangs Asuka's head off the top buckle from the electric chair. Sane takes a running boot off the apron for asuka. Rhea hits riptide on Sane. Iyo is tagged in and top rope moonsaults Sane for the win.

Thoughts: It got some time and was alright but wasn't quite the classic I was hoping for. They didn't get a big finishing stretch here and there weren't any big wild spots. It was basically a Raw level match which is fine but you just have to wonder why when they had so much time here and when Rhea was at home. 

WWE Crown Jewel Title - Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins

Seth has Dusty's polka dots on the sides of his pants. Seth and Cody roll on the ropes on the lock up. Cody trips him out of a waistlock. Seth does side headlock takeovers. Seth boots Cody in the gut then Cody delay gordbusters him. 

Seth goes out to stall. They go face to face and argue. They trade forearms. Seth hits kicks. Cody does a drop down punch then lariats Seth over the top. Seth gets back on the apron and takes a disaster kick. 

Seth yells at Wade Barrett on commentary and pushes Michael Cole. Cody throws Seth over the commentary table. Cody is sent into the steps and is dropkicked between the ropes. Cody is laid on the top of the rail and Seth double stomps him. 

Seth backdrops him for 2. Seth running lariats him for 2. Cody goes for a disaster kick and is powwerbombed down. Seth bangs Cody's arm off his shoulder. Cody is on the apron and Seth punches Cody's arm. Seth neckbreakers Cody.

Cody hits forearms and punches. Seth dragon screws Cody. Seth hits punches and has his bionic elbow stopped. Cody tries one and also is stopped. Seth figure fours Cody. Cody reverses it. They hit each other. Cody's throat is pulled down over the top rope. Cody vertebreakers Seth.

Cody hits forearms on Seth then powerslams him. Cody hits a disaster kick on Seth. Cody hits punches and hits a bionic elbow. Cody then topes him into the rails. Cody hits a cody cutter for 2. Seth enzugiri's Cody. Cody does a drop down kick. Seth then pedigree's Cody for 2.

Seth hits a cross rhodes on Cody for 2. Seth misses a phoenix splash then Cody misses a top rope Cody cutter. Seth pedigrees him then curbstomps him for 2. Seth grabs the watch Cody gave him. Cody superkicks Seth then hits a cody cutter off the top. Cody hits a cross rhodes for 2.

Cody is crotched up top. Seth stomps on Cody while Cody is in tree of woe. Seth then does a coast to coast diving headbutt on Cody for 2. Cody goes up top and Seth top rope spanish flies him. Seth uranages him for 2.

Seth is stopped up top. Cody hits a top rope cross rhodes for 2. Cody hits punches on seth. They punch each other at the same time and Seth hits Kawada kicks. Cody then hits Kawada kicks. Seth escapes a pedigree and grabs the watch. Seth is kicked and goes into the ref. Cody goes for a cross rhodes and Seth punches Cody with the watch.

Seth curbstomps Cody. Seth then diving curbstomps Cody off the buckles for the win.

Thoughts: I thought it was about average overall. They did a little too much here with them kicking out of top rope moves and vertebreakers. The watch being involved in the match gave me Seth/Punk bracelet vibes. I liked the first half but I thought it went downhill in the second half. I'm a bit surprised they had Seth win here as that ends the "Seth can't beat Cody"story, but I don't think this will be the end of that feud. 

Triple H shakes Seth's hand after.  Seth is given the Crown Jewel Title and ring.Cathy tries to interview Seth in the ring after. He takes the mic away. Seth says it feels better than you can imagine to finally beat Cody. He says some of us dream impossible dreams and some of us have the fortitude to reach those dreams. He says he proved he's the greatest of his generation and the greatest of all time. There's fireworks then Seth and Vaquer hold their titles up together.

Overall thoughts: They only had 5 matches in 3 hours here and it dragged a little. It was a heavy wrestling show as most PLE's tend to be. I was fine with Reed/Roman and thought it was a little heavy on the weapons. Tiff/Vaquer was my favorite match of the night as they timed it well and kept things going without doing too much. I didn't like Cena/AJ as they did nothing but spam other wrestlers moves. The women's tag match wasn't the big blow-off match or much of a classic and really would have been better suited as a Raw main event. I thought the main was average. I'd give it a low 6 out of 10 overall and I'd say it was a little above average. I wouldn't recommend this.
