Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary. 

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Ricky Saints comes out to talk. He says two things are clear. When you stack the odds against him, he will fight like hell. And he says when things are tough, Trick Williams will fold under pressure. He says the night he won the NXT Title, everything became clear to him. He says things haven't been clear for him whatsoever. He says Trick wants to think he is bigger than this place but he's delusional. Ricky says he would love to give him the opportunity to prove him wrong. Ricky says he's calling him out at Halloween Havoc.

Trick Williams appears on the tron. He says it's not his fault Ricky couldn't get the job done last week. Trick says Ricky is following in his foot steps and his size 15's are too big for him. He says Ricky grinded his whole life  to get here. Trick says he was in the spotlight as soon as he got here and says Ricky can't stand it. He says he's doing everything Ricky wanted to do. He says Ricky's so mad he will put the NXT Title on the line. Trick says they will do it on his time. 

Ricky says Trick's time is out and says he's talking crazy. He says he's about to burst the bubble of the fantasyland Trick lives in.

Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater talk in the back. They say Dark State ruined a classic. They argue over who would have won. The Hardy Boyz come in. They say what they did was a shot at them. Matt says they are both threats to them and said they tore the house down. Matt says they gave them a sneak peek at the future of wrestling. They say they will lay in some receipts for them at Halloween Havoc. Leon says they have their backs if they need them. 

We see Kelani Jordan and Jordynne Grace talk in the back via the NXT Anonymous account but it's too hard to hear what they said.

Matt Cardona vs Josh Briggs

Matt hits forearms on JB. He boots him in the corner. JB hits forearms. Matt boots him out of the corner and 2nd rope dropkicks him. Matt dropkicks him through the ropes. Matt hits mounted corner punches then is swept down. JB stomps Matt's back. JB flying lariats him for 2. 

JB hits shots in the corner. JB goes for a broski boot but is back body dropped to the outside. Matt tope con hilos him outside. We go to break and return. 

JB chinlocks him and is hit with a jawbreaker. JB goes for a chokeslam and is ddt'd. Matt flying lariats him and facebusters him. Matt hits forearms. Matt hits a broski boot and hits an unprettier for 2. Matt boots him through the ropes. JB throws him in and hits a backbreaker off of it. 

JB chokeslams him for 2. JB grabs his chain, the ref takes it and Matt hits radio silence for 2. Matt gets his knees up on JB's splash. Matt runs into a facekick and JB pins him.

Thoughts: I was a little surprised to see JB win but good for him. It was the usual Cardona match but it was fine. There was no great logic to it though or anything as typical with Cardona.

Hank and Tank talk to Chase U and Lyra Valkyria. Chase U and Hank and Tank both want to be #1 contenders to the tag titles. Lyra asks if anyone has seen Tatum. The Culling come in and Tatum is pulled away. Izzi rips the two tag teams here and says Spears and Niko will win the tag titles. Hank and Tank say The Hardy's are known for triple threats and they want to get one set up with Ava. Izzi says she will become the NXT Women's champ when she wins the battle royal tonight. Lyra asks about Tatum and Izzi says Tatum will be with her every step of the way. 

Fatal Influence do a video. They said they wanted to make the locker room look up to them. Fallon says it's been one shocking moment after another and one classic after another. They say they have been running the division and never let their problems get in the way. They say Nyx turned out to be the biggest problem and she was eliminated by someone who was willing to prove their loyalty to them like no one else ever did. Lainey Reid they talks. She's with them and said when she lost to Jacy, she realized she needed to follow in her direction. Jacy welcomes her to Fatal Influence and says she earned her spot.

Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Lexis King

King top wristlocks him. Doc kips up and kips down then flips him by the arm. Doc armdrags him and la magistral's him for 2. Doc hits another armdrag and wristlocks him. King rolls and cartwheels from a wristlock and upkicks him. King walks on his back and does Doc's head turning taunt.

Doc shoulders him over then walks on his back and poses. King's head is banged off the buckles and Doc chops him. King rips at the mask. King walks the top rope then drops down and slaps him. Doc flying headscissors him then Doc tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Doc 2nd rope moonsaults outside. 

Doc spinning forearms him in the corner then Doc is thrown over the top. Doc is sent into the steps and is dropped knee first on the apron. King stomps on the back of Doc's knee then running knees him from behind for 2.

King knee breakers Doc and dragon screws him. King does an indian deathlock variation on him and boots him in the face while doing it. Doc hits lariats and step up knees him in the corner. Doc tiger drivers him for 2.

King superkicks him and corner lariats him. King dragon screws him. King misses a top rope swanton. Doc shining wizards him and michinoku drivers him for the win.

Thoughts: King had one of his better outings here and matched up well against Doc. They want Doc to be more than he is but there's really nothing too special about him in US rings. It was about average overall.

Doc gets on the mic after and tells Ethan Page to come out now. Page comes out. Page says it's exhausting being the champ. He says Doc will challenge him at Halloween Havoc. Doc says he spoke with Ava and says he wants to fight him in a Day of the Dead match. He says anything goes in it. 

Zaria and Sol Ruca talk about lipstick in the back. Sol wants to win the battle royal tonight. Zaria gets jealous and asks how many titles she needs. She says she will take on Blake Monroe by herself tonight. 

Santino, Ava, Leon and Evans talk. Leon asks if they can get him and Evans a tag match. Stacks and Arianna Grace come in. Stacks says Leon is getting comfortable around here and wouldn't be champ if it wasn't due to Dark State. Santino asks if it's possible his future son-in-law Stacks gets a title shot. Ava agrees. We hear a giant crash and Trick Williams has dropped Ricky Saints in the back.

Blake Monroe vs Zaria

They lock up and Zar throws her. BM waistlocks her and Zar throws her off. BM clips her and dropkicks her. BM wraps Zar's leg around the 2nd rope and dropkicks it. Zar hanging sleepers her from the 2nd rope. 

They trade shots. BM's head is banged off the buckles. Zar's head is banged off the top rope connector.

We go to break and return. BM gets on her back with a sleeper. BM curbstomps Zar into the bottom buckle and sleepers her. They trade shots. Zar hits lariats then pump kicks her. Zar spears her. They headbutt each other. 

BM grabs a chair. Sol grabs the chair from BM. BM grabs some king of hair pick, stabs Zar in the throat with it and ddt's her to win.

Thoughts: Blake's stock seriously has gone down lately. She should be way above this. The match was about average and wasn't too much of note.

Ava talks. She says the Men's Speed Title tournament will begin soon. It'll have Axiom, Wentz, Sean Legacy and Jasper Troy in it. The winner will fight El Grande Americano.

The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance) vs Chase U (Uriah Conors and Kale Dixon) vs Hank and Tank (Tank Ledger and Hank Walker)

We had a short and fast paced match that was quickly interrupted by OTM, who beat up everyone and left everyone laying. We had no finish here for this one and it only went a few minutes. Nima says you can't outrun the mud and they say they are back.

Sol and Zaria talk in the back. Zar says Blake injured her windpipe. Zar says her and Soll will beat flair and Alexa for the tag titles. She says she is giving Zar her spot in the battle royal. She says Blake was right that she is being greedy. They then hug.

Ricky Saints is looking for Trick Williams in the back. Ava says he's gone. Rick says he gave him a title shot and he still did that. Ava says Rick will see Trick next week during a contract signing. She asks him to keep cool so they can actually have the match at Halloween Havoc.

Women's #1 Contender's Battle Royal

All 20 girls fight to start. Lash tries to powerbomb Tatum over the top. Lash tries tries to through out Victoria Crawford. Karmen Petrovic is put on the apron and facekicked off by Jessie McKay. Xia Brookside boots Jaida Parker in the corner. Victoria and Arianna Grace run into each other on the apron. They scream at ach other and shake hands. Jordynne Grace then runs the ropes and knocks them both off the apron.

Lei Ying Lee and Kali Armstrong fight on the apron. Kali knocks Lee off. Xia Brookside pounds on Kali for it. Wren Sinclair is put on the apron and fights off The Iinspiration. Wren tries to wrap around the post but slips and is eliminated. Kendal Grey double lariats The Iinspiration. Grey tries to eliminate them.

Mara Sade tries to knock Zaria off the apron. Cassie Lee is back body dropped to the floor by Grey. Lash saves her former partner Sade. She teases letting her go but then saves her. Zar dropkicks Lash into Sade and Safe is eliminated. Kali throws out Xia Brookside.

Jaida Parker is facekicked off the apron by Lash. Jaida then beats up on Xia Brookside outside. Drako Knox appears as security despite being cut last week. Lash Legend is gorilla pressed out and thrown onto security for the elimination.

Thea Hail tries to throw out Cassie Lee then she kimura's Kali in the air. Izzi Dame lariats both and eliminates them. Heather By Elegance got eliminated by Thea during the break. Zaria hanging sleepers Izzi. Blake Monroe comes down and beats up Sol ruca. Zar self eliminates to check on Sol.

Lola is stunnered over the top rope by Kelani Jordan. Cassie throws Lola out. Grey throws Cassie out over the top. Cassie was the final TNA girl in this. Kelani tries to sunset flip Grace out and is hanging upside down on the outside. Kelani walks on her hands, hooks her legs under the bottom rope and Grace stomps her down for the elimination.

Grey, Tatum, Izzi and Grace are the last four. Grace and Grey skin the cat together. Tatum and Izzi take superkicks. Grace gutwrench drops Grey. Grace rolling death valley drivers Izzi. Izzi chokeslams Grace then facekicks Grey. 

Izzi catches Grey off the 2nd rope but Grey ddt's her. Grey slaps and germans Grace. Grey overhead belly to belly suplexes Tatum. Tatum is on the apron. Izzi throws Grey out. Izzi lariats Grace over the top, goes with her and Tatum Paxley wins!

Thoughts: It was your usual battle royal. Tatum winning was a surprise and it was nice to see. Kelani got to do the Kofi spot here which was cool. The TNA girls all got eliminated a little early. It was hard to tell who was even in this at the start of it as so many different girls were involved.

Fatal Influence come out and Jacy holds her title up at Tatum. Lyra Valkyria runs out and celebrates with Tatum. Izzi isn't happy. 

Overall thoughts: There was nothing great here and like always, there was a lot of things going on. I probably liked the battle royal best here but it was nothing super memorable. I would really only give this one a 5 out of 10 total as it was an average night with a lot of people not in action.
