CMLL 10/24/2025 Grand Prix de Amazonas

They have the announcer showing off the trophy for tonight to start the show.

Dragon de Fuego and Dragon Legendario vs El Elemental and Yutani

DF = Dragon de Fuego, DL = Dragon Legendario

DF has the long tights and DL has trunks on. Yut side headlock takeovers DF twice. Yut armdrags him into an armlock. Yut trips him and DF monkey flips him. DF hits some armdrags over the shoulder then dropkicks him. Ele then shoulder tackles him out. 

DL springboard crossbodies Ele then is lariated by him. Ele stomps on him. DL is stomped on in the corner by the heels. DL goes up and over Ele then spinning forearms him. DL seated springboards off the rppes and flips into an armdrag on him.

The heels are sent into each other. DF and DL are hit with a super collider outside. Yut dropkicks DL then Ele kicks DL in the back. Yut spinebusters DF then splashes his leg. Yut flipping legdrops DF's leg. 

DF's back is stood on by the heels. DF takes an alabama slam then he is held for a top rope diving Yut double stomp. The heels stomp DF. DF is monkey flipped into a headscissors on Ele. DF springboard inverted flip dives Ele outside. DL springboard ssp's outside.

Yut takes kicks in the corner from the faces. DL jumps off of his partner's back into a canadian destroyer on Ele. Yut then takes a cradle shock. The heels surprisingly both kick out. 

DF is in tree of woe and Ele double stomps him. Ele then keeps it going and basement dropkicks DL in the corner. Yut slips on a coast to coast dropkick attempt and just kicks DF. Ele pins DL. DF is hit with a running lariat then DF is double brainbustered by the heels. DF is then pinned.

Thoughts: The finish was weird. I'm not sure why they had DF kick out, especially after they botched it. Having the heels win in the opener too after taking all the offense was weird also. The ending messed up what was an okay opener otherwise.

Lightning Match - Xelhua vs Hechicero

Hech drops down on the leg after some grappling and they stand off. Hech then takes off his mask to reveal another mask. Hech side headlock takeovers him and they butt heads. They trade chops. Hech rolls out of a sunset flip and rolls him into a hammerlock. Hech spinning back elbows Xel and chops him.

Xel armdrags him twice. Xel rolls him into a nice submission. Hech slingshot tornillos him for 2. Hech goes through the ropes and Xel plancha's him. Xel top rope crossbodies him then tilt-a-whirl armdrags him. Xel goes for a hurricanrana and is powerbombed. Xel handstand headscisors him from the mat. Hech flips him into a grounded choke.

Xel escapes a submission and twists Hech's ankle. Hech rolls him into a submission then gets 2 counts on him. Hech ddt's him. Xel tilt-a-whirl ddt's him. Hech step up knees him in the corner. Xel takes him down by the arm. 

Hech pulls down his straps. Hech's dropkicks him and hits a headscissors drop on him for the win.

Thoughts: They only had 8 minutes here so there was some limits to what they could do and it wasn't the technical classic you'd really hope for. There was a lot of rolling around here and what we got was an okay sampler, but it wasn't their best work. 

Mascara Dorada and Titan vs Barbaro Cavernario and Difunto

1st Fall - Barb and Titan go at it. Barb does some basic holds. Titan rolls, kips up and cartwheels out of an armlock and hits an armdrag. Barb trips him into a surfboard. Titan then surfboards him and turns it into a pin attempt. 

Barb slaps him. Titan keels the heels from the apron and springboard crossbodies Barb. Barb is dropkicked out. Dif flying elbows Titan. MD comes in and Dif spinning heel kicks him. MD flips out of the corner and enzugiri's Dif. MD springboard diving headscissors Dif. MD tope con hilos him and lands on his feet outside. Titan springboard diving headscissors Barb then topes him outside. 

Barb is popped up into a kick from MD. Titan spin kicks Dif down. Titan and MD do stereo top rope moves and pick up the double pin to win the fall.

KeMonito and KeMalito fight between falls. Monito headscissors him then 619's him. Monito 2nd rope swantons him and the faces count the pin. 

2nd Fall - Titan trips Dif then goes up and over. Titan headflips out of the corner, ducks a lariat and leg lariats him. Titan spin kicks Barb in the gut. Titan boots him out of the corner. Titan walks the ropes, does rope tricks and diving headscissors Barb. Titan hurricanrana's Barb out.

MD and Dif go at it. MD walks up the buckles and flips off of them into an armdrag on Dif. MD flips to the ramp and handspring kicks Dif. MD is then popped up and headscissors Dif in the ring. MD spinning headscissors Barb then corkscrew headscissors him. MD's tope is caught outside and he is double slammed into the rail.

Titan is double stomped on by the heels in the corner. Dif walks up the ropes and springboard dropkicks Titan for 2. Barb suplexes MD from the la rosa driver position. Titan bodyscissors Barb out. MD top rope diving tornillo armdrags Dif. MD and Titan do stereo dives out.

Titan spinning heel kicks Dif. Titan top rope double stomps Dif and pins him. Barb boots Titan and hits ataxia. Barb pins Titan. MD springboard crossbodies Barb. MD escapes ataxia. MD canadian destroyers Barb. MD misses a top rope ssp. Barb does a chinlock, bending MD backwards into a surfboard and MD submits. The ref tries to break it, Barb won't and MD is awarded the fall via DQ. Barb then unmasks and stomps MD.

Thoughts: It was a fun match. They didn't have a ton of time but they made use of every second of it. They had a fast pace and some nice dives. I enjoyed this and thought they did well. 

MD is put in a chickenwing after and Dif stomps him. 

The heads of Stardom and one of the heads of CMLL come in to announce that they will be working together. 

We then get a ceremony before the main. 

Grand Prix de Amazonas - La Jarochita, India Sioux, Lluvia, Skadi, Reyna Isis, Persephone, Olympia, Zeuxis and La Catalina vs Shoko Nakajima, Diamante, Hazuki, Skye Blue, Mina Shirakawa, Thekla, Koguma, Julia Hart and Kanji

Zeuxis has red on with black leggings and shorter blonde hair. Lluvia has all black on.

Koguma and India go at it. India waist lock takedowns her. They roll on the mat and Kog rolling armbars her. Kog sunset flips her, India rolls out and basement dropkicks her. Kog backrolls into a spinning headscissors. Kog top rope crossbodies her them they armdrag each other (thought they botch the 2nd and Kog lands on her). Kog armdrags her off a hiptoss. 

The girls all argue outside. Shoko and Olympia get in. Shoko side headlocks her. Olym headscissors her on the mat. Shoko then hits a pendulum ddt on her. Shoko rolls and flips out of an armlock then armdrags her. Olym squats her then shoulders her over. 

Shoko 2nd rope springboard headscissors Olym then low topes her outside. Hazuki and Lluvia go at it. L throws her down by the hair and basement dropkicks her for 2. Haz armdrags her off the 2nd rope. They pull each other's hair.

Kanji and Reyna go at it. Kanji lariats her down. Kanji headflips into a superkick to the back of the head. Rey powerslams her for 2 then hits flying cross chops. Rey flying headscissors her. Rey 2nd rope tornillos the other team outside and then everyone fights.

Skadi and Diamante go at it. Sky crossbodies her and lands hard on her for 2. Dia hits a standing sliced bread on her then corner dropkicks her. Skadi is double teamed in the corner. La Catalina and Mina get in. Mina tries to dances at her and they tease hitting each other at the same time.

Mina dances. Cat goes up and over then dances. Mina shimmies and is booted. Cat basement dropkicks her. Mina headscissors her into a russian legsweep. Mina spin kicks her in the gut. Mina walks up the buckles then dives out onto Skadi outside. Skye rols up Cat for 2 then Pers breaks it up. Pers and Cat trade words and shake hands.

Skye flying headscissors Pers but is rolled up for 2. Skye rolls her up again for 2 and boots her. Pers shoulders her over. Skye is caught off the 2nd rope and Pers fallaway slams her. Skye boots her out of the corner and 2nd rope diving headscissors her. Skye top rope dives onto Pers and all the girls fight again.

Thek comes in and flying headscissors Zeuxis. They trade corner attacks then try to dropkick each other at hte same time. They then butt heads. Jaro and Hart go at it. Hart side headlocks her and Jaro shoulders her over. Jaro's face is banged off the mat. Jaro headbutts her then Hart flying headscissors her. Hart hits corner attacks. She is tripped into the buckles then Jaro meteora's her from behind for 2. 

Kog and Olym go at it. They shoulder battle and Olym is knocked over. Kog botches a casadora stunner. Olym's head is banged off the buckles. Olym's head is banged off the top rope. Kog top rope dropkicks her for 2. Kog goes up top and is hit. Olym gorilla presses her into a swinging side slam and pins her. Koguma is eliminated.

Lluvia and Diamante go at it. Dia stunners her out of the casadora and backrolls her for 2. L la magistrals her. They swinging facebuster each other. Kanji and India get in. India flying bodyscissors her then hair throws her. Kan clubs on her then splits her fingers. Kan then stands on her back and cranks back on the arm.

India does an octopus on her and grounds her. Kanji then kicks her in the back and slaps her around. India running dropkicks her then corner la silla's her. India stomps on her in the corner. Kan hurricanrana's her for 2. Kan twists her neck with her feet for 2. Kan hits a hidden blade from behind for 2. India la rosa drivers her and pins her. Kanji is eliminated.

Mina is double teamed by India and Rey. She cranks on Rey's legs when hitting a ddt on India. Mina kicks Rey off the ropes then running dropkicks her for 2. Rey headbutts Mina then armdrags her twice. Rey does a seatbelt pin for 2. Rey step up enzugiri's her. Cat and Skye come in and trade forearms. 

Cat flurries her and is sent into the buckles. Skye then boots and foot chokes her. Skye superkicks her in the face for 2. Cat top rope dropkicks her. Skye twisting neckbreakers her for 2. Cat flying knees her then hip attacks her on the 2nd rope.

Haz is tripped into the ropes when she gets in. Cat gets stuck on the 2nd rope and is dropkicked out. Haz topes her outside. Skadi grabs Haz on the apron and is draping ddt'd over the 2nd rope. Haz double springboard dropkicks Skadi for 2.

Skadi misses a corner splash. Haz codebreakers her. Haz hits a top rope senton for 2. Skadi hits a big lariat on her. Skadi michinoku drivers her and pins her. Hazuki is eliminated.

India and Shoko get in. Shoko pushes her down. Shoko sweeps her and spinning elbow drops her for 2. India knees her in the gut and hair throws her. Shoko forearms her then slingshot swantons her for 2. India sitout powerbombs her for 2. Shoko bodyscissors rolls her into a 619. Shoko northern lights suplexes her and pins her. India Siox is eliminated.

Jaro and Thek fight. Thek bridges out of a lariat and spide walks at her. Thek misses a corner charge and her face is banged off the buckles. Jaro tilt-a-whirl backbreakers her then running dropkicks her. Pers and Hart fight. Hart hits mounted shots. 

Pers goes up and over and bridges out of a lariat. Pers superkicks her. Hart hits shoulders on her then rope walks and clubs her. Pers running dropkicks her. Mina and Skadi fight. Skadi boots her over and stomps her. Skadi hits headbutts. Skadi walks on the 2nd rope and Mina shakes the ropes on her. Mina slingshot tornillo splashes her. 

Mina stomps Skadi's knees in the mat. Skadi gori specials her. Mina sits on her shoulders then rolls her into a bad figure four. Skadi taps out. Skadi is eliminated. 

Zeuxis and Diamante go at it. Dia headscissors her into a russian legsweep. Z hair throws her. Olym comes in and Dia crucifixes her for 2. Dia hits a corner lariat and a corner splash. Olym is cradled for 2. Dia germans Olym for 2. Olym sitout powerbombs her and pins her. Diamante is eliminated.

Sky gets in and rolls Olym. Olym basement dropkicks her. Olym skins the cat into a bronco buster on her for 2. Olym corner lariats Skye from behind. Skye victory rolls her for 2. Skye hits a code blue on her and pins her. Olympia is eliminated.

Rey comes in and top rope crossbodies Thek. Rey spinning AA's her for 2. Rey facebusters her for 2. Thek trips her and crossfaces her. Rey rolls her up for 2. Thek ducks out of a lariat and spears Rey for the pin. Reyna Isis is eliminated.

Shoko and Cat go at it. Shoko flying forearms her. Cat is dropkicked. Shoko 619's her over the top rope for 2. Shoko misses a top rope senton. Cat electric chair drivers her and pins her. Shoko Nakajima is eliminated.

Hart rolls up Cat for 2 then is pounded on by Jaro and Lluvia. Thek's crossbody is caught by both but Hart kicks them all over. The four girls fight. Thek and Hart hit stereo christo's. Hart is tripped and is hit with a basement dropkick. Thek is dropped onto Hart and both kick out of pin attempts.

Lluvia bangs Hart's head off the buckles and stomps on her. Lluvia corner basement dropkicks her for 2. Hart is put on the 2nd rope and Lluvia dropkicks her there for 2. Thek trips Lluvia from the outside. Hart does a rings of saturn variation on Lluvia and submits her. Lluvia is eliminated.

Zeuxis rolls up Thek for 2. Thek hanging headscissors her over the top rope.Thek does an octopus on Zeuxis. Hart gets some shots on in Z during it and the ref makes them break it up.

Cat and Mina get in. Cat corner facekicks her then pedigrees her for 2. Cat electric chair drops Mina. Mina throws Cat off the buckles and low flying knees her. Mina does her elevated reverse ddt on Cat and pins her. La Catalina is eliminated.

Mina and Pers fight. Mina stomps her. Mina tornado ddt's her and slingblades her for 2. Mina and Pers trade forearms. Pers knees her in the gut on the ropes. Mina spinning forearms her. Mina urakens her for 2. Pers hits a razor's edge on her and pins her. Mina Shirakawa is eliminated.

Jaro and Thek fight. Jaro spinning sitout dominators her for 2. Thek spinning ddt's her then curbstomps her to pin her. La Jarochita is eliminated.

Zeuxis and Hart fight. Hart stomps on her then Z gets her feet up on Hart's top rope moonsault. Z double underhook codebreakers her and pina her. Julia Hart is eliminated.

Zeuxis and Skye fight. Z corner meteora's her for 2. Z's head is superkicked into the buckles and Skye powerbombs her. Skye pins her. Zeuxis is eliminated.

Pers comes and spears Skye for 2. They trade forearms. Skye superkicks her then sunset bombs her for 2. Pers powerslams Skye. Pers springboard frgosplashes her and pins her. Skye Blue is eliminated.

Thek and Pers are the final two. Thek spears her for 2. Pers powerslams her after taking a spin kick. Pers is hit up top. Thek spider superplexes her. Pers hits a razor's edge for 2. Pers hits a top rope moonsault and pins her to win. Persephone wins.

Thoughts: It went close to an hour. It was average at best. 2 girls would come in for their segment then get replaced by 2 more girls until everyone got eliminated. There weren't big dive trains or multi-person spots or anything too wild. There were a lot of sloppy moments and botches and the work just wasn't impressive. 

Overall thoughts: We had a brief undercard before we got the main event, which was a nearly hour long match. The main wasn't that great as expected and was average at best. The opener had a weird finish that brought down an otherwise okay match. Xelhua/Hechicero was a shorter and somewhat rushed battle that just gave you a taste of what they could do. I liked the third match. I'd give this show a 5 out of 10 as it was a pretty average show work wise and nothing you really needed to see.
