Next week's Collision is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/aew-collision-10252025.html

We are in Kansas City, MO. This is a 3 hour show.

We see clips of Jack Perry and Kenny Omega talking on Collision.

Renee hosts an interview with Kris Statlander and Toni Storm. Everyone takes their jacket off. Toni says she is the AEW Women's Title. She say she doesn't know who she is without it and asks who she is with the title. Kris says she will outlive her doubters and is the most deserving of her title. She says she will give Toni the rest she deserves. Toni says they will find out the truth at Wrestledream. Kris says Toni knows the truth but has to accept it. Toni then asks her to meet in the ring.

Toni and Kris then fight in the ring. Toni hits a thesz press and mounted punches. Kris olympic slams her. Toni germans Kris. Kris gets on her knees and dares Toni to hit her with the title but Toni does not.

Jack Perry says he doesn't hate The Bucks. He says he loves them and will always be grateful for what they did for him. He says they didn't pick up the phone when he needed them most. He says they didn't have his back. He said he had to look deep into his past for someone who would. Luchasaurus then appears and growls.

Thoughts: What The Bucks weren't there for is still something we don't know.

The Demand (Bishop Kaun and Toa) vs The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin)

Kaun and SB trade forearms. Kaun boots him in the corner and chops him. SB sleepers him and boots him. SB suplexes him. Kaun takes a double shoulderblock. Bob delay suplexes Kaun.

Bob hits corner spears then neckbreakers him. Toa is tagged in and immediately lariated over the top. Toa pulls Bob off the apron for a samoan drop on the floor. Toa sends Bob into the rails.

Bob hits forearms. Toa clubs him and slams him. Toa headbutt drops Bob for 2. Toa boots Bob from the apron. Bob hits some forearms and Toa back elbows him. Toa boots him out of the corner then Bob belly to belly suplexes him.

SB and Kaun get in. SB hits shots on him. SB corner splashes him then spinning heel kicks him. Ricochet gets on the apron and SB step up knees him. SB germans Kaun. Toa lifts SB up and is hit with a ddt. Toa headbutts him down.

Bob lariats Toa then they double lariat each other outside. Kaun is up top, SB runs up the buckles and belly to belly suplexes him down. Ricochet gets in and hits a spirit gun on SB. Kaun then pins SB in a surprise.

Thoughts:
It wasn't quite as good as I hoped but it still was okay. They threw each other around a bit here as expected and Bobby really collided hard with Toa on the outside in a double lariat spot. I'm not sure that this feud is really helping The Syndicates or keeping them as over as they were.

MVP breaks his cane over Kaun after and the heels leave the ring.

Mox and Darby talk behind prison glass from earlier in the day. Mox says he wants to make sure Darby understands the implications of an I Quit match. Mox says he won't be put into a coffin. He says neither of them will quit so what should they do? Mox says it's never too late to be on the right side of history. Darby says there isn't a day he doesn't think about joining Mox's crew. He says he doesn't respect Mox. He says he saw what Mox did to Danielson and asks why he wants to go to war with someone who stabbed his brother in the back?

Mox says he did the best he could for Bryan. He says it's a war for the future of their sport and said sacrifices needed to be made. Darby said he saw that AEW represents freedom on Mt. Everest. He says Mox is chipping away at everything that makes AEW special. He says he will remind himself of everything AEW gives him by holding up the flag but says he will wrap the flag around Mox's throat first.

Darby says Mox's word doesn't mean a thing and his operation will come down. Mox says he's not Darby's opponent. Mox says Darby is fighting ghosts and demons. Mox said Darby is playing a selfish game. Mox says this isn't about him. Darby is then attacked from behind by Pac and has his head banged off the wall and the glass. Darby is busted open and his blood is on the glass. Mox then leaves.

Thoughts: Them talking through a prison room was cool. Darby got beaten up like a rube though.

Claudio Castagnoli vs Roderick Strong

They lock up and do some grappling. RS chops him. CC euros him down. RS hits chops. CC side headlock takeovers him. RS hits chops and CC side headlock takeovers him. CC euros him over then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him.

CC hits a slam then elbow drops him for 2. CC chinlocks him. CC hits a hard facekick. RS enzugiri's him from the apron then backdrops him on the apron. RS is caught trying to dropkick him through the ropes and CC giant swings him into the rail.

RS is sent over the timekeepers rail and over the table there. CC gutwrench suplexes him for 2 then cranks RS' head. CC hits euros in the corner. CC side headlock takeovers him. RS dropkicks him. CC lariats him for 2 then crossfaces him. CC hits a euro flurry in the corner and uranage's/muso's him for 2. RS flying lariats him then leg lariats him. CC is knocked over the top rope and RS dropkicks him through the ropes.

CC is backdropped on the apron top. RS sideslams him on the top buckle. CC pop-up euros him and wins.

Thoughts: This was all strikes here for the most part with RS taking lots of euros. CC oddly won fairly clean here. This was fine and it was what it looked like it would be on paper. The finishing stretch could have been better though.

Don Callis has a party with his family. He says he's here for his crew everyday. He says they are growing their family for power and to protect their interests. He says numbers are power. He promises to do whatever has been needed. Kyle shows a video from Takeshita on the tv monitor. Takeshita says he can't be here and wishes Don a happy birthday. He says he will win the IWGP Title for him. Okada turns the video off and says he pressed the wrong button. They all then toast.

We see then Konosuke Takeshita beat Zack Sabre Jr for the IWGP Title this week.

Kenny Omega, Jack Perry and Luchasaurus vs The Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Mark Davis and Josh Alexander)

Kenny chinlocks Hech. They roll on the mat a bit and stand off. Hech works Kenny's leg and rolls him into a pin attempt. Kenny side headlocks him. Hech hiptosses him. Josh knees Kenny from the apron. Hech is sent out and Kenny slingshot plancha's him outside. Mark lariats Kenny on the floor.

Kenny takes corner attacks. Josh hits punches and knee drops him. Kenny hits punches and headbusters him. Jack comes in and chops Josh. Lucha lariats Josh then suplexes him. Jack rolls off of Lucha's shoulders onto Josh. Josh ankle locks Jack.

Mark gets in. Mark blocks a sunset flip. Jack flies at him and shouldered down hard. We go to PiP break and return. Mark is sent out. Josh rolls Jack into an ankle lock while the others fight outside. Jack enzugiri's Josh.

Kenny is tagged in. He hits polish hammers on the heels. Kenn finlay rolls Josh then asai moonsaults him for 2. Josh germans Kenny. Kenny pumping knees him from behind then running knees him for 2.

Mark and Lucha trade shots. They double clothesline each other down. Jack flying ddt's Josh. Hech swinging hammerlock backbreakers Jack. Josh clips Kenny from behind. Mark running lariats Josh. Keny hits chops on Mark then Mark enzugiri's him. Mark piledrivers him for 2.

Hech goes for the armbar on Kenny and Lucha breaks it up by chokeslamming Josh onto them. Jack walks up the buckles, rope walks and hits a doomsday device on Hech. Hech is then pinned.

Thoughts: It was a good tag with a lot of fast paced action and people coming in and out. Kenny team got the win as expected here. There were lots of stiff shots in this one. Hech barely made it over on the doomsday device. I'm not sure why Kyle wasn't in this considering he recently injured Kenny but they seem to have dropped that story. It was your usual trios match but it was fine as they didn't overdo it too much.

The Young Bucks come out and double superkick Jack and Lucha. Kenny argues with The Bucks. Lucha lariats The Bucks. Jack walks up to the top rope, rope walks and moonsaults on The Don Callis Family and The Bucks outside.

Skye Blue vs Jamie Hayter

They lock up. SB is pulled down. SB wristlocks her and JH reverses it. SB hammerlocks her and is side headlock takeovered. SB pulls JH down by the hair. JH kips up and pulls her down by the hair. JH shoulders her over a few times.

SB's head is banged off the buckles. JH hits mounted corner punches. JH suplexes her and SB goes out. JH goes up to Julia Hart outside and tells her to hit her. SB then superkicks JH. SB hits a sloppy looking bridging twisting neckbreaker on the floor.

We go to PiP break and return. JH top rope dropkicks her. JH corner lariats her then backdrops her for 2. SB stunners her. They trade forearms. SB superkicks her and JH mostly misses a step up enzugiri. JH uranage backbreakers her.

SB is caught off the apron and JH suplexes her on the floor. JH ushigoroshi's her then running lariats her for 2. SB spin kicks her in the gut and hits a standing shiranui for 2. JH hits a hard lariat then hits another to win.

Thoughts:
Jamie won as expected here. Both girls had some sloppy moments here though Jamie's lariat near the end looked good. I didn't think it was that good of a match.

Thekla does a promo on the tron. She congratulates herself. She says look at how far she made it. She says she attacked her as she was just there in the wrong place at the wrong time She says her name means chaos and poison. She says it'll get toxic to the core on Saturday. She tells her to impress her.

Renee interviews Mercedes Mone. Mone says you can call her Ultimo Mone. She now has 10 belts tying Ultimo Dragon's record. She says she's not here to break records but to smash them. She says she will wrestle Persephone for the CMLL Women's Title on Friday. She says she also becomes the longest TBS champ at 509 days on Friday. She says it's time to celebrate.

Thoughts
: I'm not a fan of this type of stuff. Only the hardcores really know or remember Ultimo in 2025 and this stuff isn't helping with Mone's perception.

AEW Trios Titles - The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata) (c) vs LFI (Rush, Dralistico and The Beast Mortos)

Adam Page is on commentary for this. Mort bumps chests with Hobbs. They shoulder battle. They trade corner attacks. Hobbs hits a corner lariat flurry. Mort 2nd rope diving slingblades him. Hobbs flying shoulders him. KS and Rush go at it. KS hits forearms. They chop each other.

Rush spinning forearms and germans KS. KS germans him. Rush headbutts him in the chest. KS STO's him. Joe and Mort go at it. Joe hits punches and chops on Mort. Joe back enzugiri's him.

KS is stomped on by the heels. Mort slaps KS. Rush kicks KS in the arm. KS takes corner attacks then a triple basement dropkick. We go to PiP break and return. KS takes a spin kick from Mort then Dral rolls Mort into a spear to the body on him.

Dral hits forearms and stomps on KS. KS flying facekicks him. KS then hits a corner dropkick. Hobbs hits shots on the heels. He then double lariats them and catches Dral off the 2nd rope. Hobbs hits a world's strongest slam on him. Joe comes in and cleans house. Joe sentons Dral for 2.

Joe powerslams Dral for 2. Dral corkscrew kicks Joe. Dral comes off the top and is caught with a choke. Joe then submits him.

Thoughts:
It was an okay tag here. I didn't like some of the bumps KS was taking here but neither he or AEW are going to learn until an accident happens sadly. The Opps won this one as expected. They were able to work with the style differences well here.

The Opps pose with the titles then LFI hits them from behind. Rush spits at Adam Page on commentary. Page hits shots on LFI and manages to run them off 1v3. Joe grabs the AEW Title after and pushes it into Page.

This ends the Dynamite portion of the show.

Joe shoves Page and leaves.

Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta vs Orange Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly

Yuta teases going at it with OC but backs out. DG takes down OC. DG rolls out a wristlock and reverses it. OC goofs around while trying to do it. OC does DG's dance then snapmares him. We go to PiP break and return. Yuta hits downward elbows on Kyle then DG does the same. Kyle tries kicks on the heels but then is double teamed in the corner. Kyle hits a double dragon screw. OC hits soul foot on DG then he armdrags Yuta.

OC bangs the heels heads off the buckles. OC top rope crossbodies DG then spinning ddt's Yuta. OC beachbreaks DG for 2. Yuta hits a suplex on OC. OC stunners Yuta. Kyle forearms Yuta over. DG chops Kyle. DG twisting neckbreakers Kyle then Kyle guillotines DG. Mox comes out to watch. OC topes Yuta. DG taps out but the ref doesn't see it. Kyle then stupidly lets go. Kyle fights off Pac and Claudio outside and is dropped. DG then cradles Kyle and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was the usual OC match where he goofs around and still gets the edge while his opponents try to hurt him. As always, he brought this one down. The dirty finish didn't help either.

The fight continues after and Roderick Strong tries to come out and help. Mox goes to talk on the mic then Darby Allin's music hits. Darby gets on the stage and is run over with a running euro. Darby gets beaten up by The Death Riders after. The faces mount a comeback. Darby gets in the ring and lays the AEW Mt. Everest flag on the mat. Darby tells Mox it's never too late to say, "I quit". Mox then death rider ddt's Darby on the flag.

JetSpeed, Willow and Harley appear on the tron. Kevin says he knows FTR is riding high as they beat them last week but they have a lot of unfinished business. Harley tells Bayne to feel the wrath. Willow says they can come out and say it to their faces. Willow and Harley then grab Bayne from behind and double ddt her. JetSpeed hit stereo top rope dropkicks. Harley is double lariated out. Willow spinebusters Dax. Kevin top rope 180 splashes Dax.

Megan Bayne vs Harley Cameron

The announcer says this will start right now. Meg flying single leg dropkicks her and hits corner spears. Meg misses a corner charge. Harley hits corner spears and is lariated. Meg suplexes Harley. Meg hits knees in the corner then corner splashes her. Meg overhead belly to belly suplexes her.

Meg slams Harley. Harley knees her in the face. Harley chokes her with her legs over the 2nd rope. Meg's head is banged off the buckles. Meg bottom rope backdrops Harley.

We go to PiP break and return. Meg lariats Harley. Meg is crotched, put in tree of woe, kicked and basement dropkicked. Harley spinning ddt's Meg for 2.

Meg falcon arrows her for 2. Meg takes a sunset bomb off the 2nd rope for 2. Harley hits backsplashes in the corner. Meg flying lariats her. Meg F-5's her for 2. Harley tries a pin attempt on Meg. Meg running sitout powerbombs her for the win.

Thoughts:
I thought it went a little longer than it needed to. Harley loses a lot and going long with Meg wasn't the right call. It was average and not too much of note.

Hook and Eddie Kingston do a promo. Eddie says he has 2 singles wins over LFI and they have to move on. Eddie says they need to go in the tag team ranks. Eddie says they will be at the tailgate on Saturday and says whoever wants some, come get some.

Max Caster and Anthony Bowens are interviewed. Bowens says a win streak is 3 straight wins and they won't get there as he won't tag with him again. Max agrees and says he hates sharing the ring with someone like him. Bowens shows off some magazine covers and asks what he was the campaign of. Bowens and Max both beg Tony Khan not to put them together as a team again. The announcer calls them The Acclaimed and they complain.

Mark Briscoe, Brody King and Bandido vs The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero and Lance Archer)

Don Callis is on commentary. Rocky knees Mark in the gut. Mark flying back elbows him and hits punches. Rocky hits Mark from behind. Lance bangs Mark's head off the buckles. Mark back enzugiri's Lance. Mark and Kyle trade shots. Kyle hits shots in the corner. Mark hits chops.

Mark and Kyle trade. Kyle superkicks Mark on the apron. King lariats Kyle over the top. Mark blockbusters Kyle onto the floor. Band spinning ddt's Lance. Rocky takes a pumping knee + fire thunder driver and is pinned.

Thoughts
: It was a little rushed by the end here. It was a fast paced tag. We didn't get to see a ton of anyone here really but I liked this.

Mark and Kyle fight to the back. El Clon comes out. Okada comes out and hits King with a title belt. Okada rainmakers Band. Okada then holds up the tag titles.

Overall thoughts: It was an okay show. I liked most of the matches though none were great. We had 4 tag matches with 6-8 wrestlers and that was a little bit much for one show as it made things run together a bit. We didn't get a ton of new developments here but they covered most of the matches at the PPV. I can't say there's anything you really need to see here but I don't think you would leave disappointed if you watched this. Darby getting beaten up in the prison was probably my favorite part of the show while Orange Cassidy and Mone's segment were the low points of this show. I would give this show a 6 out of 10.
