We see clips from Summer of Champions.

Danny Limelight comes out to talk. He's wearing a hat so we can't see the haircut he got. He says we are officially in the era of Danny Limelight. He says he's not here to be liked. He says he beat Zilla Fatu fair and square. 

AJ Francis comes out with his House Money crew. They tease attacking Danny then AJ hugs him and gives him champagne. AJ congratulates him. He says it's just business and to call them if they need them. 

The commentators talk and say AJ has said Trick Williams will be showing up. They then talk about the Gold Rush Gauntlet, which is about to start:

Leg 1 - Duke Hanson and Javi vs Jonathan Vega and Warren Johnson

The partners are randomly selected. The winning team moves onto a singles match.

Vega headlocks Javi and Javi wristlocks him. Javi rolls out of a wristlock and side headlocks him. Vega springboard armdrags him.

Vega puts armholds on him. Javi side headlocks him. Javi shoulders him over. Javi pump kicks Vega. Javi hiptosses War. Duke hits short arm shoulders on War. War hits forearms. War evades him then takes a swinging slam for 2.

War takes a double back elbow. Javi russian legsweeps him for 2. Javi goes for the tag but Duke isn't paying attention. War then dropkicks Javin and hits mounted shots.

Javi takes a double suplex for 2. War foot chokes Javi in the corner. War misses a corner splash. Duke is tagged in. Duke forearms his opponents over. He hits snake eyes and a facekick on War. Duke swinging side slams Vega for 2 then Vega tries to pin him with his feet on the ropes.

Duke slingshot germans Vega. Javi spinning fisherman busters Vega and pins him.

Leg 2 - Duke Hanson and Javi vs Will Allday and Gaspar Hernandez

Will's team is hit as they enter. Gas hits mounted shots on Javi. Gas and Duke grab each other's throats at the same time. Will top rope dropkicks Duke. Will snapmares Javi then PK's him. 

Jav hits chops on Will then Will flying forearms him. Gas blind tags himself in. Javi is thrown in the corner and takes shots from Gas. Javi chops him then side headlocks him. Duke is tagged in. He trade shoulders with Gas.

Gas punches Duke in the body a few times. Duke shoulders him over. Duke suplexes him for 2. Gas clubs Javi then side slams him for 2. Gas chinlocks Duke. Duke and Gas double lariat each other. 

Gas goes to tag in WIll but refuses. Javi superkicks Gas. Javi knocks over Will and half-nelson suplexes him. Gas is pulled over the top. Javi dives on him off the apron. Javi top rope crossbodies Will for 2. 

Will and Javi trade. Javi facekicks him then release suplexes him. Gas pulls Duke's throat down over the top rope and Duke crotches Javi on accident. Gas grabs Javi from the top and hits a big powerbomb for the pin.

Leg 3 - Will Allday and Gaspar Hernandez vs Richard Holliday and Ryan Davidson 

Ryan hits shots on Gas then hits forearms. Ryan enzugiri's him in the corner. Gas facekicks Ryan down. Gas hits shots on Ryan then clubs on him. Ryan atomic drops him and hits a knee to the face. Ryan blue thunders him. Ryan running fist drops Gas.

Rich tags himself in. He hits chops on Gas. Gas throws him down backwards. Will cartwheels into a PK on Rich. Rich back elbows him then Will flying headscissors Rich. Will's 2nd rope flying headscissors caught and he takes a buckle bomb then a running back elbow for 2.

Ryan demands a tag and Rich ignores it. Rich stomps on Will then top wristlocks him. Will hits shots on Rich's gut. Will flips over Rich. Rich facekicks him. Rich sits up top and Will jumps at him and hurricanrana's him. Will goes up top and is stopped. Rich racks him but Gas facekicks Will. 

Ryan comes in and hits shots on Gas. Ryan is lariated over the top. Gas chokeslams Rich. Ryan running lariats Gas. Will top rope elbow drops Ryan. Rich then rolls up Will from behind for 2. Rich double underhook backbreakers Will for 2. 

Rich is pushed into Ryan. WIll superkicks Rich and pins him.

Thoughts: The last leg of this was the best part as it got the most time and they could do whatever as there wasn't a match after. The second leg was the second best leg here. I thought they got some good stuff out of everyone in the final leg of this tag. I liked the match overall but I'd say it was only above average.

Overall thoughts: There was only a gauntlet match here that went about 25 minutes. It was above average and fine but nothing must see. This was pretty open booking wise and we'll see what happens with the Will/Gaspar matchup. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 overall.
