WWE/AAA Worlds Collide: Las Vegas 9/12/2025

Pre-show thoughts: This show isn't as well put together as the last one. It's on at 10PM on a Friday night. The card isn't that well built up and we didn't get a lot of video packages either.

We are in Las Vegas, NV.

They show us clips of wrestlers arriving earlier in the day.

We have Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels, Dorian Roldan and Marisela Pena in the ring. They sing the Mexican and US national anthems. 

Penta comes out in the ring and pretty much only talks in Spanish. 

We then go to Konnan, Corey Graves and JBL who are our announcers. 

Lince Dorado, LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) & Mini Abismo Negro vs. La Parka, Laredo Kid, Mascarita Sagrada & Octagon Jr.

Oct ducks a Lince lariat. Oct walks up the buckles and tornillos on him. They then flying headscissors each other and stand off. 

Cruz and Kid go at it. Kid waistlock takedowns him and headflips out of an armdrag. Cruz shoulders him over. Kid flips out of an armdrag. Kid corner lariats Cruz. Cruz and Kid fight up top and Cruz flips out of a top rope hurricanrana. Cruz does a standing spanish fly with both landing on their heads.

Wilde is flipped into the ropes on a splash on Kid. Cruz asai moonsaults on Kid for 2. Wilde crucifixes Kid then Kid drops him chest first on a flying headscissors attempt. 

Parka comes in and he and Wilde dance battle. Wilde shoulders him over. Parka does a jumping kick then goes up and over with headflips. Parka dances more then does Sean Legacy's shambles move. MS and Negro get in. 

MS dropkicks him then does an armdrag off a hiptoss. MS satellite headscissors Negro. Lince takes a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker then corner attacks. Kid michinoku drivers Lince. Oct does a handstand seated corkscrew moonsault on him.   

Kid 2nd rope corkscrew sentons Lince. Lince backcrackers Kid. Cruz springboard splashes Kid for 2. Cruz basement dropkicks Kid. Wilde is electric chair dropped onto Kid for 2. Wilde corkscrew elbow drops Kid. 

Kid and Lince chop each other. Lince pop-up dropkicks Kid and superkicks him for 2. Negro pop-up powerslams Kid. Kid botches a springboard headscissors and is elbow dropped. Kid flying headscissors Negro. 

MS gets in and satellite headscissors Negro out. MS facebusters Cruz. MS springboard reverse topes Lince. MS does a cool falcon arrow on Wilde. MS top rope diving headscissors Negro outside. Oct spin kicks Negro in the gut and Negro eye rakes him. 

Cruz and Oct trade forearms. Cruz enzugiri's him in the corner then superkicks him while he's in tree of woe. Cruz coast to coast dropkicks Oct. Wilde 2nd rope sunset bombs kid onto Oct. Lince top rope ssp's Oct for 2. 

MS satellite's Negro into a christo and it's broken up. Everyone starts coming in to do a move. Lince lethal injection's Parka. Lince asai moonsaults Parka outside. Oct top rope plancha's Lince and Parka outside. Cruz walks up the buckles and tornillos outside. Kid top rope corkscrew moonsaults outside. Wilde does his rocket launcher springboard plancha outside. 

MS dropkicks Negro then satellite roll-ups Negro to win.

Thoughts: It was a nice showcase for Sagrada here who got over big. That's not surprising since WWE did a similar thing with Max Mini (who was also a Mascarita Sagrada) in the late 90's. It went long though and it was a random match.

Rey Mysterio is interviewed. He says tonight is a historical night for WWE and AAA. Dominik Mysterio walks in. He says he will be the first Mysterio to be Mega Campeon and double champ. He says Rey should raise the hand of the winner and put the belt around the winner. Rey agrees. 

Finn Balor walks in. He says the best way for Dom to show the world he's the best luchador of all time is to win the title alone. This segment aired on Smackdown earlier. 

AAA Reina de Reinas Title #1 Contendership Match - Natalya vs. Faby Apache

Nat is wearing her non-WWE gear here.

They waistlock each other and Nat side headlock takeovers her. Faby ties her legs up. They shoulderblock battle and Faby dropkicks her. Faby hits mounted punches. 

Nat spinning lariats her for 2. Nat then hits wild shots on her in the corner. Nat hits corner spears then back elboews in the corner. Nat kicks her in the face for 2 then grounded sleepers her. Nat bangs Faby's knee off the mat then stands on her head.

Nat surfboards Faby. Faby cradles her for 2. Nat hits punches and short arm lariats. Faby fires up with some slaps and a kick. Faby flying headscissors her. Faby goes up top and crossbodies her. Faby facekicks her for 2.

Faby does an armbar and Nat tries a pin attempt off of it. Faby bodyscissors her while Nat punches her. Faby then guillotines her and Nat throws her down. Nat ankle locks her and Faby does her own ankle lock. 

Faby high kicks her down for 2. Naty blocks a sharpshooter and backrolls her. Faby then backrolls her and rolls her up for 2. Nat then backrolls and pins her.

Thoughts: I don't know if the finish fit what they were doing but it was a little better than I expected. It wasn't much of a lucha style match and was closer to an American style and Bloodsport style hybrid bout. It wasn't bad.

The announcers talk about how they want to see it again as they scuffle some after. 

The New Day and Grayson Waller are interviewed. Kofi says they came here to win gold. Kofi says Adam Pearce doesn't recognize their talent but AAA does. Woods flexes his pecs. He says Penta has been doing canadian destroyers to him to injure his neck and finally succeeded. He says he had to have surgery and have his head cut open. He says he risked death to see Waller and Kofi fight for the titles. Waller says they will become 15x combined tag champs tonight. They then make Chuey Martinez sign a petition to end dangeorus lucha moves.  

AAA World Tag Team Title Match - Pagano & Psycho Clown (c) vs. Grayson Waller & Kofi Kingston 

GW and Clown go at it. GW rolls and headflips out of a wristlock. GW does kip ups and kips down then is thrown over by the wrist. Woods celebrates outside then Clown joins him, which Woods doesn't notice. Clown shoulders GW over then flying headscissors him. GW then uses the ropes and diving armdrags him. They then headflip up together. 

GW hits mounted punches on Clown then chokes him on the ropes. Pag gets in and superkicks GW in the gut. He headhunters him and basement dropkicks him. Kofi and Pag go at it. Kofi wristlocks him and Clown takes him over by the wrist. Pag monkey flips Kofi. 

Pag does a bad belly to belly on Kofi. Kofi takes corner attacks then a double team basement dropkick. Clown split-legged moonsaults Kofi for 2. GW bangs Clown's head off the buckles then Kofi running dropkicks Clown.

GW pounds on Clown in the corner then stomps on him. GW corner dropkicks Clown for 2. GW pounds on Clown's back then cravates him. Kofi is sent into GW in the corner. Clown goes for the tag but Pag has already been knocked down. GW jumping knees Clown and Kofi spin kicks Clown in the face. Kofi and GW tease doing a stereo top rope move then just jump down and pound on Clown for 2. 

Kofi lariats Clown down. Clown's head is banged off the buckles and Kofi rips at his mask. Clown top rope crossbodies Kofi. 

Pag gets in and hits shots on Kofi. He spinning neckbreakers GW then emerald flowsion's Kofi for 2. Pag tope con hilos GW through the ropes and lands on his head. Clown topes Kofi between the buckles. Pag and Clown hit stereo corner attacks. 

Woods distracts Clown up top. Pag takes a superplex then a 2nd rope GW elbow drop for 2. Woods distracts the ref and Clown hits his opponents with his belt. Clown pulls off his mask to reveal another one underneath and Woods runs to the back in fear. The faces hit stereo canadian destroyers. 

Pag step up flip dives outside on Kofi. Clown throws GW off his shoulders into a punch and la magistrals him to win.

Thoughts: It went long, it was basic and not that good. Pagano didn't have a good showing here and was sloppy in mostly everything he did. 

Clown and Pagano are supposed to be interviewed in the ring after but The Wyatt Sicks come out. The two groups fight. Pag takes a suplex + sitout powerbomb. Nikki Cross dives on clown off the buckles. Rowan hits Pag with the steps and Gacy death valley drivers Clown. Clown then takes a top rope legdrop from Lumis through a table. Clown is powerbombed through a table in the corner. Howdy hits sister abigail on Clown on a chair.  

Charlotte Flair is in the crowd as is Jacy Jayne.

Mixed Tag Team Match - Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana vs. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Roxanne Perez) 

The heels have Raquel with them and Finn has a black sack.

Iguana escapes a wristlock then is taken down by the wrist. Ig armdrags and sweeps him. Finn grabs his back and Ig enzugiri's him. Ig then throws Finn's back under the ring. Ig flying headscissors Finn.

Lola wants to fight Finn and tries to kick him. RP then throws Lola down from behind. Lola chases RP around the ring and shoulders her over. RP goes for the armdrag but is put in an armbar.Lola takes her down and hits knees and chops. Lola cannonballs the heels off the apron. Lola and Finn tug of war over RP. Ig top rope crossbodies Finn for 2. 

Raquel pulls Ig out and drops him face first on the apron edge. Finn stomps on Ig. Finn stomps on Ig. Finn back elbows him for 2. Finn slams him and Ig does a weird pose with his hands and feet in the air. Ig crawls on the mat then armdrags him. Finn slices down Ig for 2. Finn elbows Ig in the head then chokes him on the ropes. Finn's puppet Demonito then appears between the apron skirt and apron. Finn tells the puppet to be careful as he might get hurt.

Lola comes in and hits kicks on the heels. Lola corner hip attacks her then backdrops her for 2. RP eye rakes lola then euros her on the ropes. RP double jump asai moonsaults Lola for 2.

Lola slaps RP. RP flails on her. Ig throws Lola his puppet and Lola single arm ddt's RP down from the buckles. Finn grabs his bag and Ig hits him with his puppet. Ig springboard twisting headbutts Finn. Ig opens up the black bag. Finn appears behind Ig with his puppet. Finn slingblades him then john woo's him in the corner. 

Finn gets crotched up top by Lola. Ig walks up the buckles and hurricanrana's Finn down. Ig throws his puppet at Finn's puppet. Ig then plancha's Finn outside. Raquel is on the apron and is spin kicked. RP rolls up Lola for 2. Lola uraken's RP and wins.

Thoughts: It was what I expected with a lot of shenanigans with Iguana. Finn then got in on it with his puppet. It was okay enough but definitely more of a comedy break match.

AAA Latin American Title Fatal Four Way Match - El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) vs. JD McDonagh vs. Ethan Page vs. Dragon Lee

JD and Lee slap each other. Page and Hijo then trade fast punches. HIjo flying headscissors Page. JD trips Hijo then Hijo chops him. Hijo tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him then foreamrs him down. 

Hijo enzugiri's Page in the back of the head and JD knocks Hijo over. Hijo takes a double suplex. Lee hits shots on his opponents and finlay rolls JD. Lee hits combinacion cabron on Lee and trips JD into Page's crotch. Lee corner dropkicks those two.

JD asai moonsaults Page and Lee outside. He then slingshot tornillos Hijo inside for 2. JD suplexes Hijo then 2nd rope elbow drops him for 2. JD forearms Hijo. Hijo hangs over the 2nd rope and Page drops JD onto him. Lee top rope crossbodies JD. Page hits a flying single leg codebreaker on Lee for 2. 

Page stomps on Hijo. Page does jumping jacks. Page facekicks Lee. Lee spin kicks Page in the face. Everyone gets a shot in and all 4 go down. Page falls on JD for 2. 

Lee enzugiri's Page. They both fight up top. Page and JD are both in tree of woe and Lee top rope double stomps them both down. Lee flying headscissors Hijo off the apron to the outside. Lee sitout powerbombs JD for 2. 

Lee running back elbows JD. Hijo pulls out Page on a pin and they fight outside. Lee tope con hilos both of them. Hijo is in tree of woe and JD top rope spanish flies Lee over the top of him for 2.  

JD yanks Lee and is hit with a canadian desroyer. Page cutters Lee and Hijo top rope swantons Page's back. Hijo michinoku drivers JD and wins.

Thoughts: It was a good four-way. They didn't overdo it too bad and had some nice spots. They kept up a fast pace and there were no boring moments here. Thankfully Hijo won. 

Logan Paul is in the crowd.  

AAA Mega Title Match - El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio

Dom wants a test of strength to start and mocks him. Hijo gets a pin attempt on Dom and Dom goes for the 619. Hijo does a back rack submission with all of Dom's limbs tied up. Dom rolls him up for 2. Vik boots him out of the corner then flying headscissors him. Vik dropkicks him out then topes him. Dom stun guns Hijo then sends him into the post shoulder first. Dom chops him outside and sends him into the post.

Dom chops him on the commentary table. Dom does 3 amigos for 2. Dom dropkicks him. Dom stomps on him. Dom slingshot swantons him for 2. Hijo does a botched swinging side slam. Dom crothes Hijo on the top rope for 2. Dom grabs the title belt and poses with it. 

Dom chinlocks Hijo then pulls his arms back. Dom misses a corner charge and Hijo top rope dropkicks him. Hijo corner meteora's him for 2. Viko double springboards from the post and is caught with a sitout powerbomb.

Hijo blocks a 619. Dom is kicked while on the 2nd rope. Hijo swinging drops Dom face first on the mat. Hijo 450's him off the top for 2. Finn Balor and JD McDonaugh come down. JD headbutts Hijo and Dom michinoku drivers Hijo. 

Dom puts on a mask and loads it. Hijo superkicks him. Dragon lee comes out and fights Finn and JD, but the heels get the upperhand. Rey Mysterio comes down and chairs JD and Finn. Rey and Lee chase the heels to the back.

Hijo corkscrew kicks Dom. Hijo 630's Dom off the top but El Grande Americano pulls the ref out on the count. Hijo is distracted and Dom 619's Hijo. Dom top rope frogsplashes Hijo but the ref is out. Another ref comes down and Dom gets a 2 count.

Hijo poisonrana's Dom. Hijo pulls at Grande's mask. Grande gives Dom a weapon to load his mask with. Dom flying headbutts Hijo then top rope frogsplashes him to win.

Thoughts: It was different than the usual Vikingo match. It was slowed down and they didn't do anything too wild. There was a lot of shenanigans here. Vikingo got booed as the people liked Dom more. I thought the match was acceptable but not great.

Rey comes down and Dom demands he put the belt on him. Rey does and Dom tells him to get out. The Judgment Day and El Grande Americano then come down to celebrate with Dom.

Overall thoughts: The opener was long and hurt the show some for me as we pretty much saw everything in that one. The women's match wasn't bad. The tag title match wasn't good. The mixed tag was okay enough. I liked the four-way more than I had expected and thought they did a good job without doing too much. The main was acceptable but not much else. Vikingo worked a completely different and slowed down match than usual. I'd give this one a 6 out of 10 total but I wouldn't really recommend it.
