Lights Out Match - Myles Borne vs Lexis King

MB nails King during his entrance and the lights go out. MB throws weapons in and htis mounted shots. MB hits him with a chair and a dropkick. MB stomps him in the corner. MB belly to belly suplexes him on a chair for 2.

King kitchen sinks him from behind into a chair. King chairs him and rams the chair into his gut. King suplexes him for 2. King straightjacket chokes him and slams him on a chair. MB's head is banged off the buckles. King boots him in the face.

King hits him with a trash can while he's down. MB powerslams him on the trash can. We go to PiP break and return. During the break, MB took a coronation neckbreaker on the commentary table. King sets up a Slim Jim table inside. MB whips him with a belt and kicks him in the gut. MB goes for a dive and is hit with the belt. King's head is banged off the apron and he is catapulted into a chair. MB is sent into the steps. King chairs him. King tries to curbstomp him into the steps, misses and is speared through the rail.

MB is lariated over the top. King is swept on the apron and whipped with a belt. King superkicks him. MB ddt's him on the steps. King is on the steps in the ring and MB zig zag's him off it through a table to win.

Thoughts: It was hard to watch due to the arena being dark. The finish was dumb as Borne went through the table as much as King did. The match was entertaining otherwise though with both guys getting whipped, both guys taking weapons shots and Borne showing good aggression.

Stevie Turner and Robert Stone talk to Ava on the phone. Ava's not here and is trusting them to run the show. Stone says they saw TNA wrestlers here and asked if she invited them. Ava says she can't hear her and says she trusts them to run the show. Stevie says it looks like she's in charge and Stone says both of them are.

Ethan Page and Myles Borne cross paths in the back. Mance Warner and Steph de Lander appear in the back as well.

Ethan Page comes out. Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr is in the crowd. Page says he should be out here to celebrate his victory over Tyler Breeze. He points to Wagner in the crowd. He welcomes him and said he'd be a double champ if Wagner didn't screw him out of his win at World's Collide. He invites him to No Mercy where he can see him embarrass Tavion Heights. He then challenges Wagner for right now.

Ethan Page vs Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr

Wagner comes in and hits lariats on Page. He ankle locks him and Page taps out. Wagner takes his mask off and it's Tavion Heights.

Jordynne Grace watches a video on Blake Monroe earlier in the locker room. Arianna Grace talks to her. Jordynne accuses Arianna of not liking her. Arianna says she wanted to let people know they weren't related. Jordynne challenges her to a match tonight so everyone can see how different they are.

WWE NXT Women's Speed Tournament Semifinals - Candice LeRae vs Lainey Reid

Cole Custer, a race car driver, does the intros. Sol Ruca and Zaria are on the riser with signs.

CL stands on Reid's back and sentons her. CL almost slips on an asai moonsault then misses one. Reid twisting brainbusters her for 2. Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside arrive. CL back elbows Reid. 

The girls fight on the apron. Reid superkicks her there. CL tries to german her off the apron then CL flatliners Reid on the apron. CL 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her outside.

CL la mistica drops her into a border city stretch. They bridge up together and Rei backslides her. CL rolls her up for 2 and Reid hits a hard knee to the face and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a rushed match. CL nearly slipped on an asai moonsault here which would have been bad. I didn't think it was anything too good. It was nice to see Reid win though.

Jaida Parker says she didn't enjoy NXT Homecoming because of Lash Legend. She says Lash got one on her a few weeks ago. She tells her to frame it and put it on the wall. She says tell everyone she beat her then tell people how real pressure felt when she put her through the barricade. JP says she hits harder, talks louder and looks better while doing it. She says the next time they fight, there won't be a barricade left to break. She says this ain't over and to lock it.

Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley talk in the back. Lyra says anytime she makes a friend, they lose their minds. Lyra says it can't be her fault. Tatum plays with her hair and says nothing can be here fault ever. She says she needs Tatum's weirdness in her life. Izzi Dame comes in. She says Lyra left Tatum once before and will do it again if she gives her the chance. She then says let's go. Steve Maclin, I think Victoria Crawford and Hank and Tank walk past during this.

A nascar driver, Chase U and Dark State talk in the back. Joe Hendry appears in a nascar outfit and takes the helmet off. Shugars says Joe will want to think before he appears. Cutler suggests a 6-man tag match.

Jordynne Grace vs Arianna Grace

Ari hits boots on JG in the corner. She misses a corner charge then JG hits chest forearms. JG boots her in the gut and rolling death valley drivers her. JG hits a slam and misses a vader bomb. Ari throws her down backwards. They botch a spot and Ari splashes her. 

Ari stomps and low dropkicks her. JG is pulled off the ropes and Ari misses an elbow. JG bangs Ari backwards into the buckles then short arm lariats her twice. JG spinebusters her. JG does a spinning torture rack drop and wins.

Thoughts: Ari's good at everything that isn't wrestling. She really hasn't show. much progress in the ring and she sadly didn't look good here. It was a quick and one-sided match as expected with Jordynne winning.

Stacks comes to Ari's aid outside after. Blake Monroe comes out with pink weapons. Her and JG due. JG chairs her. Blake nails her with a pink kendo stick. JG trips her and refs break the brawl up. 

Stevie Turner and Robert Stone come out. Stevie makes a weapons match between Blake and Grace. Stone says it ends Saturday in a weapon's cage match.

Lainey Reid is interviewed in the back. Reid says she got the opportunity she asked for and won. She says she will face Sol on Saturday and maybe she's the most athletic, but she will leave the next champ. Jacy Jayne and Fatal Influence come in. Jacy wishes her good luck at No Mercy. Jacy says she can handle Lola Vice by herself. 

Jacy Jayne comes out to talk. She says let's pretend that last week never happened as it doesn't matter. She says she's been NXT champ for 100 days. She says it's laughable that Lola Vice will take her title. She calls her a crossover act pretending to be a wrestler. She says Lola has improved but isn't ready to have the title. She says Lola's story is the Jacy Jayne story and says she's not the underdog, Jacy is.  She says she was busting her @ss while Lola shook hers. She says her MMA advantage won't save her at No Mercy.

Lola comes out. She says it's another person talking about her @ss. She says atleast she has one to shake. She says Jacy always needed someone and she doesn't. She says she knocked women out while Jacy third wheeled her way to the title. She says she is a different person now from last year. She says she's more than a fighter, she's a pro wrestler. She says it's for her culture, family and the people. She says she will show her no mercy when she knocks her out to become champ.

Jacy says she knows Lola is more than likely going to beat her @ss at No Mercy. She says she knows her and knows Lola is looking for validation. She says Lola wants to make her family proud. Jacy says she will walk out with the title somehow and some way. She says her reality may be a broken nose or jaw, but hers will be when she tells her parents that all the sacrifices they made were for nothing. Jacy says she will talk out women's champ and she will walk out her family's disappointment. Lola then urakens her and knocks her out. Lola then holds up the title.

Thoughts: It was a good segment and sold me on Lola maybe having a shot at winning. 

Josh Briggs does a video. He says he does thing most men dream of. He says he's told he's not relatable to the fans. He says he stopped caring what the fans and podcasters think. He says no one can define him. He says the fans are hypocrites and maybe they don't get it, just like Je'Von Evans. He says he doesn't care if he connects with the fans, he just wants to connect his boot with Evans' face. He says the only thing he cares about is the 1-2-3.

DarkState (Sayquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox) vs Joe Hendry and Chase U (Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon)

Everyone fights to start and Joe is knocked out of the ring. UC chops up Shugars. OG splashes UC in the corner then Dion slams UC. Dion takes a dropkick to the knee and a splash on the back. Kale armlocks Dion. Kale goes up and over him then lariats him for 2. Dion takes a double back elbow. 

Joe chops Dion in the corner. Shugars is lariated over the top by Kale then Joe throws Dion out. OG takes a double dropkick then a lariat over the top by Joe. Kale fosbury flops outside. The faces then do Joe's turnaround pose. 

We go to break and return. Dion sends Kale into the corner. Kale takes corner attacks and an OG spinning powerslam for 2. Dion throws UC over the rail. Kale's head is banged off the buckles. Joe gets the hot tag in and he knocks down the heels. Joe flying headscissors OG. Joe fallaway slams Dion. 

Joe tries to chokeslam Dion and is hit from the side. Joe suplexes Dion. Chase tries to help UC back into ringside. UC is tagged in. He enzugiri's Dion in the corner and corkscrew kicks Shugars from the apron. He then tornado ddt's him off the bottom rope. Cutler James is tope'd by UC. 

UC stunners Dion. Cutler distracts the ref on a pin attempt. UC is thrown into a powerbomb and pinned.

Thoughts: It was an alright tag. We've kind of seen variations of this a bunch of times though and it was nothing too great. Kale busted out a rare fosbury flop here on the outside. I don't love Joe losing but Dark State didn't need to lose either.

Cutler says you are either with us or against us after. 

Ricky Saints does a video from New Orleans. He says who is he without New Orleans. We see him at his torn down home which was take by Hurricane Katrina. He says things look different as an adult. He says he's proud to come back so people can say, "that's our boy". He said he was going to make it as he had no other choice. 

He says he represents everyone and believes in himself because that's all he had. He says he knows where he doesn't want to go back to and makes sure he pushes so he doesn't have to. He says it's all about survival. He says New Orelans is great reminder that it's not just about him. He says all that matters is that he gets it down. He says he will usher in a new and absolute era, because he has to. 

Je'Von Evans is interviewed. He says Josh Briggs won their last match but he will win this time. He says Josh is still talking. Something crashes in the back. He says Josh doesn't know him. He says he will jump around him, punch him and get the win. Jazmyn Nyx is down. Jacy and Fallon go up to her. Jacy says it doesn't matter and it was time to drop her as only the strong survive. Fallon says it's true. 

TNA Title vs NXT Title - Trick Williams vs Oba Femi

It's very obvious that there will be a bunch of interference in this one and I do not expect a finish. Moose, Xia, Heather By Elegance, Silva and Steve Maclin are in the crowd for this.

Oba catches a spinning facekick. Trick hits chops. Oba knees him in the gut. Oba blocks a corkscrew kick. Oba hits chops. Trick misses a trick shot

Trick spinning roundhouse kicks him. Trick does capoeira and Oba pushes him over. Oba shoulders him over several times. Trick is sent out. Zach Wentz is in the crowd as is Jessie McKay. Oba chops Trick down on the apron. Lei Ying Lee is now in the crowd. Oba is flapjacked on the apron edge. Mike Santana comes down into ringside. Trick gets distracted and Mike puts a headset on.

Trick chops Oba as we go to PiP break. Oba chops Trick outside. Trick flying lariats Oba in the ring. Frankie Kazarian is seen in the crowd as Trick facelocks Oba. Trick does a bodypress on Oba for 2 and chinlocks him. Eric Young is in the crowd.

Trick slams Oba. Matt Cardona arrives. Trick uranage's Oba. Trick hits shots on Oba. Oba spinebusters him. Oba running back elbows him. Trick corner lariats him. Cedric Alexander is in the crowd. Oba flying euros Trick. Oba hits a big ending on Trick for 2. Trick corkscrew facekicks Oba 3 times. 

Trick is caught coming off the buckles. Trick is hit with a big forearm. Trick capoeira kicks Oba then is thrown on a backdrop. Trick hurricanrana's Oba for 2. Trick hits a trick shot for 2.

Oba hits a big pop-up powerbomb on Trick for 2. They trade forearms on their knees then get up and trade. Trick lariats him and Oba lariats him over the top. Oba is sent into the steps. Trick slaps Mike Santana, gets hit back and they go into the ring. The TNA wrestlers get in the ring then NXT wrestlers come out and fight. We have a mega brawl. Ricky Saints then comes out and looks at the NXT Title. Oba then grabs it as everyone fights. Oba holds the title up in Saints' face to end the show.

Thoughts: And there it is. Interference was near guaranteed and we got it here. I found this a bit hard to watch due to the PiP break and various shots to people in the crowd. We'd get a minute or so of wrestling then someone else would appear and take the focus away. Add in the dirty finish and it's hard to give this a great rating, though the wrestling was fine. Thankfully, they didn't do anything dumb here like having Trick or Oba win both titles. We have both an NXT PLE and a TNA PLE this weekend and I would imagine something from this brawl plays out on one of those.

Overall thoughts: It was a very busy show like most NXT shows tend to be. We had enough content for the whole show just in the first hour alone. I liked King/Borne but it was hard to watch due to it being so dark. LeRae/Reid was rushed but thankfully Reid won. The Battle of the Grace's was short, not that good and Jordynne won as expected. I liked the Lola/Jacy segment. The 6-man was fine but didn't get a ton of time. The wrestling in the main was okay but it was filled with appearances from TNA wrestling and it had a DQ finish so it could only be rated so highly. The ending was cool though with everyone fighting in a major brawl. I'll give this one a 7 out of 10. I thought it was a good show.
