Thoughts: It was fine. It went a little longer than it needed to but was an acceptable opener otherwise. Ale had a nice satellite ddt here.

Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara vs. AMAKUSA & Black Menso-re vs. Daiki Odashima & Harutoki

This was pretty much all comedy with Menso here. He got ignored early, then ganged up on and got beaten up most of the match. It didn't get a lot of time and Odashima had one of his lesser outings so far. The wrestlers also had a lot of trouble manipulating the much bigger Harutoki. Meno went for a crossbody on Harutoki on the finish but Haru backrolled him and pinned him. I didn't care for this.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block B Match - Daiki Inaba vs. Galeno

DI tries shoulders that don't work to start. Gal shoulders him over. DI hits forearms and Gal flying shoulders him. Gal sweeps him and slams him. Gal misses a splash then DI hits one. DI clubs and boots him. Gal facekicks him down for 2. Gal texas cloverleafs him and DI ropebreaks.

DI hits forearms on Gal then 2nd rope diving spears him for 2. DI suplexes him for 2. Gal headbutts him then hits a michioku driver for 2. Gal twisting double underhook drops him and pins him.

Thoughts: Gal really needed to squash and throw around DI here to really make this work and he didn't. DI did his usual underdog offense but it didn't click as well as I hoped and Gal didn't really want to heel it up. I thought it was average or maybe slightly above average.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block B Match - Naomichi Marufuji vs. Jack Morris

Jack backs Maru up off the lock up and cleanbreaks him. Maru side headlocks him. They shoulderblock each other and flex their chest muscles together. Jack shoulders him over and poses. Jack bangs Maru's head off the buckles and forearms him. Maru hits a dropkick off a cartwheel.

Thoughts:
The two worked okay together and definitely played up some of their similarities in this. We had a lot of strike exchanges with various kicks and knees. They tried here and it was an okay bout where Jack got the surprising upset win.

They shake hands after.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block A Match - KENTA vs. Daga

Kenta teases throwing his shirt in the crowd and Daga does it for him. Kenta clubs and boots him for it. Daga stomps on Kenta then side headlocks him. Kenta facelocks him and pulls the hair to keep it on. Daga pulls his hair back.

Yoshi gets on the apron and Kenta hits him. Daga is then sent into Yoshi Kenta slaps Daga then hits a go to sleep for the win.

Thoughts: I don't get why Daga wasn't DQ'd for Yoshi pulling the ref out. Kenta tried here and was a lot better than he was for most of his NJPW run. They didn't quite lean into them both being jerks as much as they could have here. I'd say it was acceptable overall

N-1 Victory 2025 Block A Match - Masa Kitamiya vs. Ulka Sasaki

Masa beats up a ring attendant and Menso as he enters.

Ulka hammerlocks him then top wristlock takedowns him. Masa yanks on his arm and then hits it. Masa wristlock takedowns him. Masa armlocks him. Ulka monkey flips him but Masa keeps ahold on the arm. He then stomps on it. Masa side headlocks him and shoulders him over.

Ulka pulls him out and ankle locks him but lets go. Ulka rolling kimura takeovers him. Masa back elbows him. Masa chops him and slams him. Masa goes after a fan in the front row and he hits the people stopping him from doing so again. Masa sends Ulka into and over the rails.

Thoughts:
It's a shame we didn't get a clean finish here. This was one of Ulka's better bouts. Masa did well as a heel and Ulka did what he was supposed to do with the selling and the comebacks. I liked this minus the finish and it definitely beat my expectations.

Masa throws the ref out after then lariats Ulka. Masa then does a strangle hold alpha variation to him while Tadasuke talks on the mic. Masa then chairs Ulka and chairs a ring attendant. Masa then talks on the mic after.

N-1 Victory 2025 Block A Match - Kazuyuki Fujita vs. Manabu Soya

They charge at each other to start then trade chops for forearms. Kaz drops him with forearms. Soya side headlocks him. Soya shoulders Kaz over. They trade chops for forearms outside. Thoughts: I liked it, surprisingly. Kaz actually looked like he knew what he was doing at times and they had the idea of two hosses throwing big strikes. It wasn't bad though the finish could have been better and was definitely one of Kaz's best efforts. It only took Kaz 30 years, but maybe he's finally getting it.

Kaz talks on the mic after to close the show.

Overall thoughts: The opener was alright. The three way tag match was a waste. Inaba/Galeno was slightly above average but it could have been great. Morris/Marufji was a decent bout with them playing up their similarities. Kenta/Daga was acceptable. Masa/Ulka was on the path to being good but had a dirty finish. The main was one of Kaz's better efforts and was alright. I'd give this a slight 6 out of 10 as we had some acceptable matches here, but there was nothing must see on this one.
