AEW All Out 2025 9/20/2025
Note - WWE tried to run Wrestlepalooza against AEW here so AEW ran this show early instead.
The pre-show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/09/aew-collision-saturday-tailgate-brawl.html
We are in Toronto, Canada. Tony Schiavone, Bryan Danielson and Excalibur are on commentary.
Bryan Danielson comes out to do commentary
We see Cope and Cage see a poster on Wendel Clark, a hockey player. Cope talks about how tought he is then Clark appears. He tells them to go for the throat tonight. They then see someone named "Bubbles" who has goofy glasses on and wishes them luck. Cage makes a joke about his mom. Cope pulls him away.
They then see "The Green B@stard" who is Bubbles in a green outfit. He then tells them to hammer people no mercy. Cage says there's too much chlorine in the gene pool and he's out of here.

Cope then takes a spike piledriver for 2. Cope hits impaler's on FTR. Cope takes a shatter machine for 2.Cope takes another shatter machine. Cope spears Cash and wins.
Thoughts: It wasn't quite the usual FTR classic match formula but I liked it. We had a lot of fun spots here with Cope doing Cena's moves, Cope and Cage doing sharpshooters and Cope/Cage doing each others finishers. Cope and Cage won as expected here. Beth coming out was a nice surprise.
Cope and Cage go to celebrate their win. Mother Wayne and Kip Wayne come out. Kip Sabian handcuffs Cope to the ropes and FTR jumps Cope and Cage. Cage takes a spike piledriver. Beth fights off FTR then she gets spike piledrivered in front of Cope.

Thoughts: I was shocked to see Mark win after some of the low level losses he has taken over the years. It went a little long and was mostly based around table and tack spots. The spots meant less and less the more they did them. It was alright but could have been a bit more condensed.
Toni Storm does a DraftKings ad.
We see Lexi trying to interview The Acclaimed and Jerry Lynn in the parking lot on Wednesday. Lynn says it's not the time. Lynn says when they work together they are the best. Thoughts: The crowd wasn't that into it and I wasn't a big fan of this. There were some nice suplexes but not much besides it. It didn't help that there weren't clear faces and heels here.

Thoughts: This one got a lot of time and slowed down some near the end. The top rope double hurricanrana spot was cool. It worked a little better than I expected. They did a lot of teasing of KT and Okada's subtle tensions. I liked the match and feel like this is going to lead to KT vs Okada at the next PPV.
Okada holds his title up in KT's face after.

Pac gets in the ring and pump kicks Darby. He has shorter hair now and looks different. Pac does a razor's edge on Darby over the top rope onto a coffin lid. Pac puts Darby in a bodybag. Pac puts Darby in the coffin and Mox kicks the lid shut. Mox wins.
Thoughts: It was a good and violent match here. Mox seemed to have a ton of blood coming from his ear. Mox got tope'd hard into the coffin and Darby took a nasty razor's edge over the top on a coffin. Pac made his return. It was bloody and definitely gruesome. I thought they did really well with this. I'm not really sure where this leaves Darby or Mox though.
Darby is then carried out by The Riders in the coffin.
Mark Briscoe does a promo calling out The Don Callis Family for Dynamite.

Thoughts: I didn't get this one. Kris really hasn't been built up to it at all and Yuta didn't even help her. If anything Thek should have won here. It was your usual 4-way with only 2 people in the ring at once. It wasn't that good.
AEW Tag Titles - Ladder Match - Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) (c) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey) vs. Don Callis Family (Hechicero and Josh Alexander)

Thoughts: It was your usual wild ladder match. There has to be a few injuries coming out of this. There were too many wild spots to name here. It was entertaining and went about as well as it could have gone. It was a good match. I thought for sure The Bucks would win at one point here and I'm glad that didn't happen.
Jack Perry returns after and stares at The Bucks. Jack gives one of them the finger and then takes own and pounds both. Rocky Romero grabs Jack and Jack ddt's him. Jack takes a double superkick. Jack smiles when he's about to take a BTE trigger. The lights go out. We see a video of Jack digging up something from a grave. We then see him dragging a coffin on the highway. We then see Jack doing some kind of surgery on Luchasaurus/Killswitch and reviving him.
Luchasaurus then gets in the ring and chokeslams The Bucks. Lucha has a "Killswitch" belt on. He takes it off and throws it into the crowd. They then hug and their old music plays.
Thoughts: Apparently something happened on BTE related to this, but of course it wasn't mentioned on TV. I have questions about what Lucha was doing in a grave but this is probably best for both parties. Lucha doesn't want to really learn how to be a star and Jack isn't able to, so putting them back together works best for both of them.
AEW Wrestledream is the next PPV on 10/18/25.
We cut to the announcers and they say something is going on in the back. Shafir grabs the camera and shows us Mox and the coffin. Mox says Darby gave everything he had but he's misguided. Thoughts: It was a long match to end a long PPV. Kyle nearly died twice here, taking deadeyes on his head off the 2nd rope and off the apron to the floor. It was your usual Kyle match where lots of big moves are done without any real psychology or reason and things don't get sold enough. I didn't like this at all.
Overall thoughts: It was a long PPV that went 5 hours and had a 1 hour pre-show. I liked the opener. Eddie/Bill was bad with Eddie missing a bunch of shots. Mark/MJF was okay and was filled with thumbtack spots. I didn't like The Hurt Syndicate 6-man tag. Mone/Riho was better than I expected as was the Unified Title 3-way. Mox/Darby was the gruesome match you would expected and it as good. Kris Statlander won the AEW Women's Title in a surprise but I didn't like the match. The ladder match was your usual crazy ladder match but I liked it. I didn't like the main and am surprised Kyle even made it out alive with the drops he took on his neck.
I liked the show overall and thought it was good, but it took me about 3 sessions to finish it. AEW gives you so much on a PPV that even just having a bunch of okay matches adds up when it's a 10 match card. Most of the matches were okay on this though it did have a few fails. Mox/Darby was best match of the night of my opinion. I'd give this show a 7 out of 10 total.
