NWA Powerrr 9/23/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/09/nwa-powerrr-9162025.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/10/nwa-powerrr-9302025.html

The Cazana's talk. Joe says Crockett Cup didn't go their way but they will show why they are the best team in the NWA. Joe says they will show why they do things by the book.

The Holy Grail (EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth) vs Fox and Price

Team Exodus Pro is now The Holy Grail. EC takes down a jobber on the lock up. The jobber wristlocks him and EC reverses it. EC takes an armdrag. EC takes a double axe handle on the arm off the buckles. EC takes an armdrag and hits a back elbow. They botch a spot.

A jobber botches a seated moonsault into an armdrag and a dropkick. EC takes a corner forearm and a dropkick. EC forearms out of an armlock. PB gets in and is double booted out of the corner. PB is hit with a flying forearm then he takes a spinning headscissors into the corner. EC takes a slingblade.

A jobber is flapjacked into the buckles. PB hits an STO variation. PB throws the jobber on a slam twice. PB hits a corner splash. EC does a thesz press. EC hits a corner lariat and an exploder. PB is hit with forearms and PB chops him. PB slams a jobber then does a chinlock. The jobber jawbreakers out.

The jobber hits a springboard twisting forearm. Price hits forearms on EC and back elbows him. Price 2nd rope diving lariats him and jumping knees him. The jobbers go for a hart attack and are stopped. Price is poked in the eyes and sent into Fox. EC hits a TKO on the knee. PB does a blue thunder variation on Fox and wins.

Thoughts
: They didn't mention who the jobbers were until near the end. Fox had a bad night with a lot of sloppiness. It took EC's crew a long time to take the jobbers out and it wasn't that interesting.

The Grail are interviewed in the ring after. Kyle asks if this is EC's new tag team. EC says the path to becoming who you are supposed to be takes many roads and steps. He says he's the great leader of wrestling. He says few can meet his criteria and standards. He says he found his Goliath. He says PB is a giant in potential that he will forge, create and build. He says they will have potential to own the entire industry.

Bryan Idol says becoming the NWA TV Title is the biggest milestone in his career. He says he will start his climb of the lucky 7 with Daisy Kill. He says Kill backs up the trash he talks but better ask who will save him. Idol says looks kill and so does he.

We go to the Bitcrush comic book store. TVMA come in. Nieves says she embarrassed the cashier last time. Tiff says she wants to hold onto her titles for a long time. The cashier tells her to lift weights more and mentions she already lifts. The psychologist guy comes in and talks to Tiff. They talk about DM'ing each other everyday. Tiff says this is "Vicky". The cashier hints that they are flirting with each other. Tiff says she keeps her motor clean. She says she's TV's Most Attractive. The cashier and the psychologist say they heard about each other. The cashier says he wants to play a game with him. He says the psychologist likes wrestling and a single female wrestler.

The psychologist asks the comic book guy if he believes in love. He asks if he would do anything for it and says sometimes you gotta do things that are more drastic than others. He says maybe they can do an exchange here. He says maybe there's something he can do for him and maybe there's something the comic book guy can do in return.

Thoughts:
Well that got weird. These segments have been going on for a while. They still aren't accomplishing much nor are they entertaining.

NWA Junior Heavyweight Title - Alex Taylor (c) vs Luke Kurtis

Luke hasn't been on this show for a long time if ever as I haven't seen him. This is a random one.

Alex waistlocks him and shoves him from behind. Luke reverses a hammerlock then dropkicks Alex. Luke back body drops him then belly to belly suplexes him. Alex trips him, traps him in the ring skirt and pounds on him. Alex suplexes him on the floor.

Alex stomps him inside then hits corner spears. Alex pulls his neck forward. Alex then stands on him. Alex corner splashes him. Alex misses a corner move and goes crotch first into the buckles. Luke hits some punches and hits a running lariat.

Alex takes a german and a corner leg lariat. Alex 2nd rope diving headbutts him for 2. Luke backrolls him. Alex hits a twisting disherman neckbreaker for 2. Luke catapults him into the buckles then half-nelson slams him.

Luke misses a top rope moonsault. Alex cradle shocks him and wins.

Thoughts:
Alex won here as expected. It was acceptable and Luke got a decent bit of offense in before going down.

Rich Swann does a promo. He says he has landed himself in the NWA. He says greats have made themselves here like Sting and Dusty Rhodes. He says he's here to showcase his charisma and raw talent. He says he's been keeping his eye on the NWA. He talks about the titles he has won and says he held gold everyone he has gone. He says he has his eye on Alex Taylor. He says everyone will see why he will whoop all over that @ss. He says he's ready to go all night long.

We go to Culbreath Isles with Kenzie Paige, Natalya Markova and Tyler Franks. Ken says she will represent her dad and Hunter. Nat says she will represent Bryan Idol. They are told to figure out how they will use the $12 millon for the betterment of others.

The Country Gentlemen (AJ and KC Cazana) vs The Rewind Society (Samuel C and VHS)

We haven't seen The Rewind's since 1/28/25. AJ locks up with a Rewind and chops him in the corner. AJ pulls him down then kicks him. AJ rams his opponent in the corner and hits chops and punches. C boots him out of the corner and is back elbowed. KC is flapjacked onto C. KC does his strut into a legdrop. AJ 2nd rope elbow drops C for 2.

AJ clubs C's chest. AJ clubs his back. C does a dance and a split then tags out. VHS is caught off the top and then spinebustered. VHS takes a back elbow + russian legsweep and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a short squash here with The Cazana's winning as expected. This was another random one here.

VHS is punched after. C tries to help and The Rewind's both get hit. C is supposed to take a powerbomb + elbow drop but KC misses the elbow.

Tommy Henry and Hunter come out. They push The Cazana's and argue with them. Joe Cazana hits Tommy with his book. Hunter takes a powerbomb + top rope elbow drop combo.

The Southern Six do a promo. Alex says it's another week and the same result. Alex says they bring contenders but no one can stand up to the challenge. He says he will have him a front row seat for Swann vs Misery next week. Silas says he hasn't heard a peep out of Thom Lattimer after he called him out. He challenges him to put his title on the line at NWA 77.

Aron Stevens talks to Carson Drake. He asked if he considered his office. Drake said a girl made him a similar offer and got on her knees, but didn't put a ring on it. He says Aron won't either. Aron says he's talking about money and realized potential. Drake calls BFT "Blown Freakin Titles". Aron says he gave him the chance of a lifetime and Drake thinks it's funny. Drake says this face doesn't need a mask on it. Aron says maybe he could use a title, the NWA Title.

Aron asks how it worked out for him against Lattimer. He says he was close but not quite there.

NWA World Television Title Match - Bryan Idol (c) vs. Daisy Kill

The crowd sing Happy Birthday to Idol.

Kill backs up Idol in the corner twice. Idol waistlock takedowns him then shoulder throws him down. Idol side headlock takeovers him twice. Idol shoulders Kill over and slingblades him. Idol flying knees Kill. Idol goes up and over him with a roll-up then running knees him.

Idol is eye raked and spinebustered. We go to break. Eric Smallz says Knox and Murdoch put him in the hospital at The Crockett Cup. He said he had to get stitches and had a busted nose. He said he had to explain to his kids what they did. He asks what he did to deserve that.

Pope D'Angelo Dinero does a promo. He says he has a message for Mims. He says everyone was happy about him returning except for Mims. He says Mims will give him a non-title match. Pope says he's coming for him. He says he has given him a lot of knowledge but didn't give him everything.

We return from break. Idol backbreakers Kill for 2. Idol is sent hard into the buckles. Idol is catapulted into the buckles. Idol sharpshooters him and Kill ropebreaks. Idol hits bad punches and hits a running shot.

Idol double underhook suplexes him. Kill spinebusters him for 2 with his feet on the ropes. Idol does a neat spinning killswitch and pins him.

Thoughts: It was average and nothing too special. It didn't really get the time and that limited how good this would be quality wise. It was over before it really got started.

Pope vs Mims and Swann vs Misery is next week.

Overall thoughts: I had thought things were going to change when NWA went to Roku but they are slowly going back to their old ways. Almost everything was random here and nothing was that good, nor did it have time to be. We got a couple of non-wrestling segments that didn't accomplish much or really have much of a purpose here as well. The only real positives here were that nothing as awful and they did build to some things in the future. I wouldn't recommend this at all and would just give it a 4 out of 10.
