WWE Monday Night Raw 9/15/2025

We are in Springfield, MA. Joe Tessitore and Corey Graves are on commentary.

We see various stars arrive.

LA Knight runs up to the Uso's and pushes Jey. Adam Pearce tells them to get into his office now and threatens them with fines if they don't come. 

John Cena comes out. He said he spent a lot of time playing football at Springfield College. He talks about being an offensive lineman. He said that college prepared him for life in the WWE. He says he needed this tonight because he has a tall hill to climb.

He says Brock wants to end him and he puts Brock over as being near invincible. He said his matches against Brock were some of the toughest he ever faced. The crowd chants, "whoop his @ss". He says he can keep his health if he doesn't face him. He says saying no is safe and easy. The crowd chants "thank you, Cena" and he says that's why he says yes. He says he is the last real champ.

He talks about what the last real champ should do and says this is a chance to make magic. He says he's afraid of Brock. He says he could fail but he won't back down or give up.  He says we will take the fight to the beast as that is what we do. 

He says it's their last battle and said he founded Suplex City. He says his jorts are stronger than his jeans (referencing a sign) and says if you want some, come get some.

Adam Pearce talks to Jey Uso and LA Knight in the back. He asks LA to make it make sense. LA says Jey speared him when he wasn't looking and Jey says he will do it again. LA says he wants a piece of Bron and Bronson and can let this rest if he gets it. LA picks Jimmy Uso as his partner. Jey complains. Jey says Jimmy don't like him to Adam and Adam says they need to talk to Jimmy.  

Lyra Valkyria vs Roxanne Perez

They lock up and roll to the ground with it. RP piefaces her the Lyra waistlock takedowns her. Lyra is put in a headscissors RP la magistral's her for 2. Lyra slides through the legs and bridges her for 2. 

RP knees her in the gut. Lyra goes up and over, legsweeps her and basement dropkicks her. Lyra crossbodies her for 2. Raquel Rodriguez trips Lyra and is ejected. RP has a pin attempt but the ref is distracted. RP throws her down backwards. 

RP is thrown out and Lyra dropkicks her through the ropes. Lyra is swept off the top and takes an awakward looking bump down. RP then clubs on her. We go to break and return. Both try pin attempts. Lyra doctor bombs her for 2. They fight on the buckles and RP hurricanrana's her down. RP cartwheel double knee drops Lyra's back for 2.

RP crossfaces her then Lyra hits a nightwing to win.

Thoughts: It was a bit slow at times and wasn't quite as good as it should have been. Lyra took a nasty bump when she got swept off the top.

Raquel then nails Lyra from behind and throws her in. Raquel facekicks her. RP spin kicks Lyra and hits a code red. Bayley then comes out to help. Bay hits shots on Raquel and backdrops RP. Bay stunners Raquel then sends her into the post shoulder first. Bay hits a corner spear on RP and flying back elbows her. Bay hits a belly to belly.

Bay looks menacing at Lyra and tries to cool down. Bay then hugs Joe Tessitore and Corey Graves at commentary. She then kisses Corey's head. She hugs the ring announcer, the ref and fans. Bay then runs happily to the back.

Adam Pearce talks to Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer. SV says may the best woman win. Iyo says she will win. Asuka and Kairi Sane come in. Asuka says no one is ready for Iyo. SV tells Asuka to get our of her face. Asuka says you think you are so good? She then says she faces Kairi Sanee tonight. Pearce agrees.

LA Knight talks to Jimmy Uso in the back. He says he chose him for tonight and Uso says it's not the right play. Uso says LA put him in a rough spot. He says he knows he needs to get his with The Vision. He says they will get theirs at Wrestlepalooza. He tells LA to find someone else. 

Penta vs Kofi Kingston

Penta chases Kofi around the ring then superkicks him. Penta tope con hilos him. Penta goes to springboard and is dropkicked out. Waller gets in Penta's face and is hit. Kofi kicks Penta from the apron then apron splashes his back on the floor. 

We go to break and return. Penta goes up and over then flying headscissors him. Kofi handstands in the corner then is superkicked. Penta hits a handstand double boot in the corner for 2. 

Penta chops him. Kofi hits a ranhei for 2. Penta superkicks Kofi then Kofi spin kicks him. They trade shots and Penta step up enzugiri's him. Woods gets on the apron then Waller comes in and is superkicked. Penta springboard canadian destroyers Kofi and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter match and what you would expect here. Thankfully Penta won with the canadian destroyer. There was a lot of flying in this.

Jey Uso is on the phone. Jimmy comes up to him. Jey doesn't tell him who he was talking to. Jey tells Jimmy to say no to LA and says he has to. Jey says they have The Bron's at Wrestlepalooza and nothing else matters. Jimmy said he told LA no but he won't be taking no more orders from him. Jey says he didn't mean it that way and says there ain't no ulafala around his neck.  

Jimmy goes up to up to LA after the break. He says he's in. LA says, "yeah". 

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch come out to talk. Seth says he was going to name the town but will now ignore them as the fans chanted "CM Punk". He introduces Becky. BL says she won't talk to people behind their backs like CM Punk.

AJ Lee and CM Punk come out. CM is wearing AJ's shirt and comes out to her music. Punk says he's AJ's husband. Punk said he made a career telling people what he thought of them to their faces. Punk says Seth brags about being the most famous couple but they can't get on the same page. He said they came out to 2 songs while he came out to his wife's song.

Seth says Punk is the most selfish human being he has ever met. Seth says he will do something unselfish. He says he will give CM Punk credit. He says AJ is the best decision he ever made in his life. 

Seth says inserting AJ into this is the worst mistake he has ever made. AJ says she wouldn't be here if he didn't use his wife as a human shield. Becky says she didn't expect AJ to come back.  

Becky says AJ talked about how she feels mentally but asks how she feels physically. She asks how the damage in AJ's neck felt after reading her book. Becky says AJ isn't an asset but a liability. AJ says she didn't read Becky's book. AJ says she doesn't know how her neck will hold up. 

AJ says it's been 10 years since she took a bump. She says she doesn't know what will happen on Saturday or what was gonna happen on SD. AJ says she won 2 titles on the damaged neck. AJ says she should worry that she doesn't know what she will do next. 

Seth laughs at the idea that he can't handle AJ. Seth says he can't predict her but can read Punk like a book. He says Punk has a nasty habit of leaving when things let him down. He says AJ better hope Punk doesn't leave her too. AJ slaps him. Seth says he has never put his hands on a lady but thankfully has someone who will. Seth says it's Becky's fault and Becky leaves. Becky says Seth got them into this. Seth piefaces Punk then Becky uranage's AJ. Becky slaps Punk twice. Seth and Becky kiss.

Byron Saxton interviews Dominik Mysterio, who is the new AAA Mega champ. Dom says not to worry about the talk with him and Grande Americano. He says he's the Mega Intercontinental champ. We here someone fighting and Woods and New Day have hit Penta with a chair. Pearce and The War Raiders break it up.

Dragon Lee vs El Grande Americano

Lee running dropkicks Grande and pounds on him to start. Grande flying enzugiri's him then hits mounted shots. Lee flying headscissors him. Lee hits combinacion cabron then Grande hits a running TKO for 2. Grande finlay rolls him for 2.

Grande PK's him. They trade shots and Grande knee chokes him on the ropes. Lee kicks the buckle into Grande's head then flying headscissors him over the top. Grande lays on the commentary table and Lee tope con hilos him through the ropes.

We go to break and return. Lee hits punches and rebound germans him. Lee superkicks him in the face. They trade chops. Lee pumping knees him then sitout powerbombs him for 2. Grande tries to walk up the buckles but is crotched. Grande hangs off the top and Lee top rope double stomps him for 2.

Lee tries to rip the mask off. Another masked guy hits Lee and Grande hits a diving blockbuster off the top for 2. AJ Styles comes down and the masked guy goes under the ring. AJ goes looking for him and grabs him before he leaves. AJ hits punches. A 3rd masked guy then tornado ddt's AJ off the rails. The 2nd masked guy pushes Lee off the top and Grande taps him out with a mini-surfboard + a chinlock.

Thoughts: It was alright and all the shenanigans going on was interesting. Oddly, after naming the one masked guy Dos Americano last week, they didn't call him that here.

Lyra tries to go up to Bayley's locker room in the back. Bayley is seemingly yelling at someone. Lyra enters the locker room and only Bayley is there. Lyra asks who she was talking to. She thanks her for helping her after what she said to her. Bay thanks her for showing her that idiots still exist out there. Bay complains about her barging right in. She tells her to stay out of her locker room and calls her an idiot. 

Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer talk in the back. Rhea says she's coming for her whether she wins the title or not. Steph says she's ready. 

Stephanie Vaquer vs Kairi Sane

They lock up. SV facelocks her and Sane wristlocks her. SV trips her and hooks the leg. SV waistlock takedowns her and headscissors her. They try to dropkick each other at the same time and stare down.

They shake hands. Asuka comes down and compalins about Asuka shaking hands. Sane uses the ropes and headscissors her. Sane dropkicks her. Sane flying forearms her against the bottom rope for 2. SV double knee drops Sane on the apron. 

We go to break and return. SV sends Sane into the buckles and running dropkicks her. SV corner meteora's her. Sane sliding forearms her. Sane forearms her then running headhunters her. 

SV ddt's her for 2. SV goes for a suplex and Sane ddt's her. Sane goes up top and is hit. They fight up on the buckles. SV is in tree of woe and Sane top rope double stomps her. 

Sane hits urakens. SV spin kicks her and headbutts her. SV dragon screws her. SV top rope plancha's her outside. SV hits the devil's kiss. SV is supposed to hit the SVB but Sane just takes it as a codebreaker instead. SV wins.

Thoughts: Sane continues her streak of botches here as she botched the finish. SV did her usual offense. There was no great logic or anything but the action was mostly okay. Asuka stares at SV. Iyo Sky comes down and stops her from hitting her. They argue. Asuka leaves then Iyo and SV shake hands.

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed do a promo. Reed says the legacy of The Uso's being the best tag team will end. Bron says Seth has a vision of them looking at the lights. Bron says they will have to ask where they go from here as The Uso's are coming to an end. He says they will learn like Roman learned that Seth has a vision and it doesn't change for anyone.

Asuka and Sane talk to Iyo in the back. Asuka yells at her and rants. Iyo says she needs to do this by herself. Asuka then rants more.

The Judgment Day toast in the back to Dom being a double champ. Finn says let's put the break on this as Perez and Raquel had a tough night. He says he's worried about El Grande Americano. He says Dom is a member of Judgment Day and they need to know what is going on with Grande. JD says something is going on and they want to know what Grande wants in return for helping him.

Dom says Grande just wants his respect and asks if it's crazy. Finn says it is. Finn says don't come looking for them when he wants to play the king of the luchadores card. Finn and JD leave. Rusev comes in and introduces himself. He says he's the next IC champ.

LA Knight and Jimmy Uso vs The Vision (Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker)

Bron side headlocks Uso and shoulders him over. Bron waistlock takedowns him and hits corner spears. Uso uppercuts him and chops him. Uso flying back elbows him. Bron lariats him. 

LA hits punches on Red when they get in. Reed is tripped into the buckles and stomped on by LA. Uso corner hip attacks Reed. Bron is double lariated over the top.

We go to break and return. Reed twists Uso's head and throws him down backwards. Reed pulls his hair. Bron overhead throws Uso. 

Reed slams Uso then misses a senton. Uso boots him out of the corner and hits a whisper in the wind on him. LA gets in and hits lariats on Bron. He then jumping neckbreakers him. Bron jumping knees LA. La running lariats Reed. LA kind of does a reverse ddt on Reed. LA double jump elbow drops Reed and Uso top rope splashes Reed for 2. LA lariats Bron over the top and goes with him. Reed is thrown out and Uso topes him.

Us goes for another and is forearmed. LA jumps off the steps onto Reed. Uso superkicks Reed and spears him. Bron flying shoulders LA on the outside. Reed death valley drivers Uso and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay main. I was surprised LA and Uso didn't have problems here as it could have given them an out of the loss. The faces didn't really need to win this though. Uso's whisper in the wind looked good and Bron got some big air on a flying shoudler outside that we only saw some of. 

Uso is held and speared by Reed after.  Jey Uso comes out with a chair and chairs Bron. Reed punches Jey's chair away. Jey punches Reed then hits him in the gut and the back with the chair. 

Jey checks on Jimmy. LA grabs a chair and teases hitting him but does not. Jey offers a handshake. LA shakes hands with him then hits a BFT. LA then leaves.

Overall thoughts: It was the go home show for a PLE so we weren't getting anything too wild here. Bayley's storyline is interesting and they still continue to slow push the issue between Iyo/Asuka/Sane. Cena did an okay promo here and the triple Grande Americano's made another appearance. Vaquer and Sane had an okay enough match but it didn't have any great logic to it and Sane had some botches. The main was fine and LA got revenge on Jey by hitting him with a BFT. Seth and Punk and their wives also did another segment that didn't do a lot for me. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as it was fine but nothing much more. They had a lot more momentum going into Wrestlepalooza when the build started than where it is now.
