WWE LFG 8/10/2025 Season 2, Episode 7

They say it's a sink or swim edition with Anthony Luke vs Harlem Lewis, Trill London vs Shiloh Hill, Sirena Linton vs Bayley Humphrey and P-Nasty vs Zena Sterling. We are also told there's a shocking moment today and it looks like Sirena got injured.

Shawn Michaels greets the crew in the Performance Center. He asks if Elijah is good and calmer than last time. Shawn says it's sink or swim time. He says the legends will be hands off tonight and they have to come up with their own match. Shawn says you could end up with someone you don't get along with and he asks how you will make that work. He says this can be a selfish business and it is supposed to be but you have to work together.

Booker says Harlem Lewis is looking for someone to step up and McCool says she will put Anthony Luke vs him. Booker says it will shock and amaze Taker. Taker says Bayley and Sirena are close and feel like they can deliver. Booker says Sirena has grown and she seems comfortable. McCool wants Penina vs Zena. Taker wants Hill and McCool says Trill should fight him. Bubba confirms that they will hands off in this one.

McCool says this will be interesting. Her and Taker see Hill and Trill setting things up and they don't think they know what they are doing. Trill says McCool believes in him and he has to take out the top guy.

Bayley says Sirena is her best friend and thinks they can put on a show. Sirena says they are excited to do the match well. Bubba is excited for Penina vs Zena. Penina says putting the match together was a struggle. Taker says nobody likes to lose but they have to figure it out.

Hill says him and Luke don't always see eye to eye. McCool says it's like 2 bulls butting heads. Booker says Luke is jealous of Harlem. Luke says sometimes everyone needs to be shut up. Harlem says he wants the crowd to think he is messing someone up. We see Hill and Luke argue. McCool intervenes. 

Harlem says no one is a coach here and he doesn't like when people act like it. Taker says he spied on the Hill/Trill match and we see him ducking for cover.

Harlem says Luke talks too much and tells him to keep f*cking around as he will make him find out.

Anthony Luke vs Harlem Lewis

They lock up and roll outside with it. They then lock up again out there then get back in the ring with it. Har says this is his show and he was brought on as Luke couldn't get the job done. Luke says they brought him on to be his b!tch.

Har hits a forearm. Luke pulls his hair and side headlocks him. Luke shoulders him over and Har hits a nice dropkick. Luke chop blocks Har then elbow drops his knee. Luke legdrops the knee.

Har takes a big slam for 2. Luke dragon screws him for 2. Luke says this is his show. Har sunset flips him then backslides him for 2. Luke kicks him in the leg then hits a flying house call kick for 2.

Luke spinning toe holds him and Har boots him in the face. Luke is pulled into the post. Luke takes a stun gun. Har boots him in the face and hits lariats. Har back body drops him. Har basement dropkicks him.

Luke powerbomb lifts him and Har rolls him up while holding the ropes. Har then pins him.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. I felt like they lost some of the hate they had as this went on and just turned this into a normal match. The finish wasn't that good here as Har is a bit big to try to be doing sunset flips and he couldn't hit it clean. I liked Luke's house call kick and Har's dropkick.

Luke complains about Har cheating to beat him. He says that's the only way anyone can beat him as he's the best. He says he outperformed him and that's why he will get the point.

Shiloh Hill vs Trill London

Trill crawls down the aisle then gets up. Bubba says Trill wants to be Jeff Hardy and complains about it. Trill buckshots in and Hill lariats him in a cool spot.

Hill pounds on Trill then hits a corner spear. Trill hits punches in the corner on Hill. Trill goes up and over and pulls Hill's head into the buckles. Trill flying hip attacks him Jeff Hardy style in the corner. Hill lariats him from behind,

Trill is sent into the buckles and goes upside down. Hill boots him then backdrops him for 2. Hill does a rare standing inverted splash. Hill chinlocks Trill.

Hill boots him in the gut then puts him in reverse tree of woe. Hill then hits corner spears. Trill escapes him then rolls him up for 2. Trill flying forearms Hill. Trill hits like a jumping leg lariat then basement dropkicks Hill for 2.

Hill gutwrench slams him for 2. Trill slingshot dropkicks him. Trill then hits a top rope swanton for the win.

Thoughts: I liked it. Hill roughed up Trill good. Trill did a bunch of wild flying here and just looks so different than everyone else in the ring.

Trill is excited about getting to do the swanton. He said he used to do it on his teddy bears.

Bayley Humphrey vs Sirena Linton

They lock up and Bay pushes her back. Bay slams her. SL waistlocks her then Bay waistlock takedowns her. SL goes out and yells at Bay. Bay picks her up by the hair. SL forearms her from the apron. Bay gorilla presses her and accidentally drops her. SL is picked up again and she rope breaks. SL is hurt and the match is stopped.

Thoughts: There was an injury so I won't be rating this. SL fell from the gorilla press and something happened though it didn't look like an obvious injury.

Docs help up SL after. Booker then goes to check on SL. Bay then helps walk SL to the back.

Booker says this was unfortunate. SL says she blacked out when she was dropped from the gorilla press position. Bay says it's hard to see your best friend go blank. She says she got tunnel vision and hopes she is okay.

Penina says Zena is the luckiest person in LFG. She says she's stupid as she thinks she will take Season 2 from her. She says she is the main event and Zena will find out that and fix her issues.

Zena says Penina did a lot of talking last season. She said she still walked past her in the semifinals. She says Penina should run her mouth and she will let her work do the talking.

Penina Tuilaepa vs Zena Sterling

Michelle McCool is filming this from the riser. This is in front of a real crowd.

They lock up. Zena waistlocks her and PT backs her up into the corner. PT misses a big elbow. Zena goes up on the 2nd rope on the lock up then is thrown down.

Zena pulls PT's arm down over the top rope. Zena boots PT then hits euros. Zena tries to slam her but can't. She then chop blocks her instead and gets a 2 count. PT hits a nice spear for 2.

PT puts a trap hold on Zena. Zena hits wild chops on her and fires up. Zena hits more chops. Zena slams her then double stomps her. Zena then gets the pin.

Thoughts: I was surprised to see PT go down so easy. Zena didn't have the best strikes here but she has the right idea and is likeable along with having a good look. You can definitely see why Bubba likes her so much.

We go to the coaches to see who gets points. We are told Sirena is being looked at.

For the men, Bubba gives Shiloh his vote. Taker gives Anthony Luke his vote. Booker gives Harlem his vote. McCool gives Luke her vote. Anthony Luke gets a point this week.

For the girls, Taker asks if Bayley is okay and says it's part of the game. Taker gives Penina his vote as he says Zena showed a lot of growth last year and they expect more of her. McCool gives Penina her vote. Booker gives Penina his vote.

Thoughts: Zena would have gotten my point this week for the girls. I didn't think Penina got to do enough to gain a point. For the men it's a bit trickier as it comes down to Hill vs Trill and I thought Trill had the better performance.

Bubba says it's obvious what is going on now. He says there's a big conspiracy here. He says Zena is the front runner and we all know it. He says she's the one to beat. He tells Zena to come here. He says the coaches have it out for her and said it's the third time the coaches voted the same way. Bubba then walks off. Taker says he would walk off too and McCool says it's laughable.

Thoughts: The last part is definitely for show, but the issue is a bit valid. The person who is the best wrestler or the most likely to succeed doesn't always win every week and the expectations for the various wrestlers are different.

We then see clips for next week's show. Luke says if he doesn't come out on top, he's not doing his show. Sirena said she got chocked unconscious and was uncertain if she could return to wrestling.

Overall thoughts: As I say every week, the show really is a lot better than last season's show was and it's nice to get more of a focus on the wrestling and match building portion over fake drama. Luke/Lewis went longer than it needed to and while it wasn't bad, I was hoping for more. I liked Hill/Trill and thought Trill had a good showing as he continues to look like a unique high flyer. Bayley/Sirena was cut short due to injury. Penina/Zena was fine but Penina didn't get a ton in. I liked the show and thought it was one of the more watchable episodes of the series.
